More on the sizing...someone asked an honest question about the sizing: It shouldn't be hard to contact Bella and request this information so that customers can make informed decisions...seems like it would avoid the monumental customer service headache that is likely to happen once people start receiving their shirts...

I know this has been discussed to death already, but the more I think about those white tees the more irritated I get about it. (Good thing we're going back to school next week...apparently I have too much time on my hands!) Those were obviously a mistake and shouldn't have been put up for sale. Or at least they should've specified in Ali's shop that they run three sizes too small. We had to read to the very end of her blog post to pick that up. Soon that post will be buried under other posts. The shop only says "runs small, please size up." Every other time I've seen that, it means go up one size. So anyone who usually wears a medium would buy a large, and it would still be way too small. Basically Ali and Inked decided they're not going to take the financial hit; they're going to let their customers take it by buying a shirt that probably won't fit. Rather than doing the right thing and not putting a defective product up for sale, or being more transparent about the sizing issue. That's a very April thing to do, but I'm guessing this decision came from Ali. She's the one sitting on her porch smiling in a kid-size tee that she knows won't fit anyone . Just not right. Alright, rant over! Not to mention the fact that the size chart that they posted for that tee is not correct, according to how that shirt fits on Ali: This is the exact same size chart they posted for the tank and other shirt. Don't say one runs small and "size up" and then post the same size chart for all three garments.

One of my former managers at a previous job would always say "Onward and upward" when I was stressed about something and every single time she did it I wanted to scream.
Whenever bad things happen, my dad has no empathy and just says "it's just another bump in the road". Both my sister and I get fed up with him when he does it.

I'm listening to these: Pocket Talk - only once a month or so. Host is Jess Forster and she gets on my nerves a bit. But it is sometimes good information. Inkie Chat -hosted by Inkie Quill aka Adele Toomey and her husband. It hasn't been regular due to the birth of their child and she recently started a Patreon, but it is entertaining. They just had a new episode after a few months off but they say it will be every two weeks. I refuse to listen to the Scrap Gals podcast. I'll have to try the Inkie Quill one. I haven't tired that one yet. Thanks for the recommendation! I kind a feel bad saying it, but Pocket Talk can annoy me too. I've listened a few times. I think it's her need to "explain" the show at the beginning of each episode. I wish that Jess didn't get on my nerves, but she constantly interrupts her guests and MmmmHmmms while they are talking. If you're going to have an audio product where you interview people, you should really learn some basic interview etiquette. That said, I still listen to every episode because I do enjoy it. I keep hoping she'll get better.

How does she take some of these photos? I get the van one and the selfies of her sleeping. The Asian market one is too far out to be sitting on a shelf, did she gorilla pod it hanging off the shelf? And the selfie of her and her husband right above them, unless they have contortionist arms it doesn't look like they held it out themselves ~ is someone standing over them or do they have a tripod over top of them? She says she took it herself. And the one in the grocery store, I remember her talking about propping her phone against something to take it. I guess the whole staged thing just seems unnatural to me, but I also am not a fan of photoshoots. My favorite pictures from my wedding are the candid ones. The staged ones just feel unnatural. I understand that everyone has their own personal preferences but I guess I just prefer natural photos. I'll take a selfie or a shot of my shoes to document something, but I just don't see the point of self timing a staged photo.

So this may have been discussed before but does anyone find it really weird that Ali is obsessed with posed pictures that she self-timers. Like I get the whole "capturing the everyday" but this picture is obviously her just standing at her tailgate, pretending to load the groceries in the car, while waiting for the self timer to take. A lot of her pictures just come off as fake. Maybe it's just me, but I think it's really weird to self timer yourself pretending to do something just to "capture" it. I can't find it but I swear I've seen her post a selfie of her pretending to be asleep.

Me too. I also hate "kidlet". Those two terms just drive me nuts. i'll see your 'kidlet' and raise you a 'furbaby' Fuck yes. Furbaby or furkid. I cringe internally every time my vet tech refers to my dogs as my furbabies. I ignore it because of everything she has done for my dogs.

To be fair, she said in her blog post that she was wearing a large and probably should've had a medium--but then, why didn't they just get her a medium!? Plus, that would not fix these issues. If you are trying to sell ill fitting clothes, just dress the "model" in the "wrong" size to try to hide the fact that even the "right" size would look like shit.

Is you is or is you ain't my constituency? -O Brother where art thou (Basically dh and I say this anytime we want to know if the other agrees.) That don't make no sense. -O brother where art thou She done R U N N O F T. -O brother where art thou (This is the answer to where is DD? Or did DD leave for/get home from school yet?) (Sensing a theme yet?) Plus any random quote from whatever movie I've seen recently. Damn, I need to watch that movie again. "well ain't this place a geographical oddity"

People are praising Ali for providing larger sizes on her Facebook post...Oh there are going to be some disappointed people when they get their XXL shirt that says it's for 18-20 but is tight on Ali, who is NOT a size 18-20.
They say that the white tee runs small but have the same size chart for all three tops.
And the prices are ridiculous. $16 for a canvas tote? $15 for a canvas pencil bag? And $35 for the fucking tank top?
No fucking thanks.

I believe the Night King was a Stark? When the children made him from the man tied to the tree, that man was a Stark. The resemblance may be intentional just for that reason. Damn I missed that. After this season is over I'm going to start reading the books and will probably rewatch the whole series again. I know there are so many things that I've missed. We had a discussion about this today at work - did the gold ever make it to Kings Landing or did Drogon burn it all up when Dany attacked them on the road after High Garden? I didn' think it made it but others said it did... This is a good article explains what happened to the gold... heavy.com/entertainment/2017/08/what-happened-to-gold-highgarden-did-daenerys-dany-lose-get-cersei-game-of-thrones-s07e04/

There is a difference between speculation and posting a known spoiler AS a spoiler. The person who did that a few weeks ago apologized (I believe she thought spoilers were allowed due to the heading of the post). However, I don't see the harm in asking for spoilers for future episodes to remain off-thread.
I honestly prefer this thread to remain a discussion about the episode and discussion about what MIGHT happen. If HBO continues to leak their shit, spoilers can't be avoided, but it would be a kind gesture to use the spoiler markup to hide it from people who don't want to be spoiled.

I have a few fears I consider normal...such as fear of heights and deep water.
Then I have two fears I consider completely irrational.
My main one is of people in animal/mascot costumes. I cannot go to Walmart near Easter, in fear that the damn Easter Bunny will be there. I don't do sporting events.
My second one is a fear of running over a chicken. When I was in elementary school , there was a house close to our local mall that had chickens and I would always make my mom slow down so she wouldn't hit them. As an adult, I had to drive past a house with chickens on a country road on my way to my previous job. I would start getting anxiety as I approached the house. I'd slow way down and my hands would be sweaty by the time I passed the house. Just thinking about it now is making me uneasy.

I don't do December Daily but just do regular Project Life with DD supplies. My December PL usually is 2-3 spreads per week. Both my husband and I get 3 weeks off around Christmas, so we usually have lots of fun to document.

For those who didn't get glasses, there are cool crafts you can do that can make viewing safe. I remember when I was a kid, we just punched a hole in paper and let it project the shadow onto another piece of paper, but there are some cool DIY viewers out of pringles cans that are essentially the same concept that look fun.

Felicity Jane posted a tiny sneak in one of the Facebook Groups. All it says is coming September. Not much of a sneak, except colors and patterns. But I'm excited. I loved FJ's December kit last year, so I'm hoping this year's kit will be as good.

Shortly after the original Xbox was released, I won one. I had played Nintendo as a child but hadn't really gamed much since. I fell in love with the console, and later bought an XBox 360 when it was released, and started playing PC games as well. I fully believe that my husband and I may not have dated if I hadn't won that Xbox and therefore gotten into gaming. He's a big gamer, and some of our first dates were spent playing Sims together.

Isn't it a golden fashion rule after 40 you donate your word t-shirts. Nope. There are no "golden fashion rules" for age, gender, or size. If a 90 year old wants to wear a teeshirt that says Sassy Since Birth, then who cares? If someone judges her or doesn't think she should be wearing a "word t-shirt" at her age, then that's their problem, not hers. I think Ali's tanks are cute. I might even pick up one or two for my yoga. And I'm 43. 😂 ETA: Oops. I'm not 43. I'm 41. Lol.

I always tried to play on the swings...they were usually full so I didn't get to often.
After school care was in a giant lawn without any equipment and I didn't have any friends that stayed late...so I spent my time picking clover flowers.

I remember Cracker Barrel had the best grilled cheese when I was little. I haven't eaten there in years...because whenever I'm in an area with a Cracker Barrel there are many far better options. Now, I'm craving a grilled cheese.

I finally jumped in and bought one after reading how much everyone loved them. I was hesitant because of the cost. I also have another tape glider that jammed after just a few uses and has been useless ever since. I was tired of going through runners so quickly. Last week someone posted on Facebook about Amazon selling the glider with two rolls of tape for just under $15. I jumped on that deal. It came and they only sent 2 packages of tape with 2 tapes per package. I contacted Amazon and we decided a refund was best, but they told me to keep or do whatever with the tape. I ended up going to Michaels on saturday and getting one for half off. Thanks everyone for the reviews over time. I used it yesterday and really liked it. I had the same thing happen...bought the ATG from Amazon last week, and they only sent the tape. They refunded me and told me if I still wanted it to reorder and select 1 day shipping, and they would refund me the 1 day shipping as well. Looks like they pulled that seller who was selling it for $15.
