I have quite a nice supply of pineapple papers, silhouette files, brads and a few stamps even. I will be using them on my Fiji and Hawaii albums but also on layouts about my pineapple collection, pineapple printed shoes, earrings, t-shirt, handbag, quilt cover set, assorted stationery and yes even an amazing pineapple dress I wear! Have I mentioned that I don't eat pineapples AT ALL? I even pick them off pizza, I dislike the taste so much! Now if I can just find some use for the flamingo paper I have... Corinne

What an amazing dress! I have seen some cute material but never thought of making it into a dress- you have given me an idea for next year! All I have is this dress I made a few years ago for our Bookweek. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Corinne ![](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn38/corinne196311/bookweek%202013%20003%202_zpskxmatdxj.jpg)

What a beautiful, classic English wedding! Your outfit is stunning and I love the simplicity of the brides and bridesmaids dresses. Everyone looks so relaxed and happy too, congratulations! Corinne

But... did you pull a gun on her?? I'm sorry, but I have no idea how to link news stories. It came up on my F/Book feed. A woman in Cleveland pulled a gun out because "the stylist was taking too long with her son's hair" It was recorded so now the police are looking for her. I would be annoyed by your hairdresser, but would probably give her another chance. But that depends if you have lots of good stylists nearby. I find it really hard to find someone who does my hair the way I like it so that skews my opinion somewhat. Corinne

Oh,oh so I don't think I will be buying all these lovely packs. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/mYSUyHtG9Jrcmm_ydVcK.jpg) $75 is fine for 2 pads and 2 packs but the cheapest postage is $89!!! Such a shame , I find it so difficult to buy whole packs in Australia, if any Aussies know where please share your secret with me! Corinne

Do you know what I want? That VW camper van! I've never had one in real life, but I've always loved them. Growing up our family had a blue and white one just like this one but it was a royal blue. Then I met my daughter's father who had burnt orange Combi and then we bought a light blue one. So, I am going to buy this line just for the memories of the Combi alone! I have never bought from ACOT so this will be my first time. I want to buy so many of these lines you have just linked! Corinne

I'm a primary school teacher and occasionally a former student will try to friend me. I never accept but yes, I do look at their page (often they are very open) and once I start looking at their friends list..... easily an hour of my life goes by! It's nice to see how many of them have grown up and what they are doing. Some are sad - kids you always knew had to the potential for greatness or the wrong road. To see an incredibly smart, stunningly beautiful student asking for drugs ( while in police custody) and seeing that she no longer has custody of the 2 children she has, very sad. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/mYSUyHtG9Jrcmm_ydVcK.jpg) But there is lots more of the positive stories and because they physically change so much from 12 to their 20's, sometimes it is hard to recognise them. Often the "plainer" looking girls in primary school have grown into classic beautiful young women and some of the quieter students are now confident, happy doing well in life success stories. Yes Facebook has certainly brought out the potential to check out all those old friends from high school. For a long time I never put a photo of myself up - too vain as I certainly don't look the same and I was worried people would think "wow, look how she turned out!' But then I realised that everyone is 30 yrs older andI really didn't care what strangers thought of me so now my profile pic gets changed regularly. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Corinne

Thanks! I let my subscription go last year as I was having trouble using it - really didn't like a lot of new designs.
I've just started using my Cameo and would like some fresh designs so I will definitely check it out. At this stage it is probably cheaper for me to just pay as I go.

Oh, this is fun I was about 10? with my sister and my best friend singing into a tape recorder while we played "Mother and Child Reunion" by Paul Simon on our record player. We were particularly pleased with our line "only a moment away" (us singing AWAY a few seconds later!) we thought we were so cool. I still can remember that album cover- he was wearing a hooded, furry coat. Corinne ETA just went and looked it up on YouTube- still such a great song! now added to my ITunes account.

For some unexplained reasons I LOVE all the pineapple stuff - I bought sandshoes with little gold pineapples on them, I have several pineapple handbags and I have a nice little collection of pineapples in my scrap room. I also have a dress covered in pineapples and some cute earrings. The reason my liking is so unexplained - I hate the taste of pineapple and won't eat or drink anything with it in it!
I will be using all the paper I bought, especially Kaisercrafts Tropical Punch paper because I have trips to Hawaii and Fiji to scrap. I have some paper with flamingos and will probably try and use them in small doses or use the B side.

For once you actually remember a "perfect" paper that will match some new photos and despite searching through all your labelled containers you STILL can't find it!
I just know that once I start using an alternative paper the other one will turn up!

Apologies for the HUGE photos in the post above! I have followed all the instructions but can't get the little squares on my photos to resize it?? We have a family lunch at our house every Easter. I used to take a few photos of the kids with their eggs/chocolate but they are all teenagers now so while they still get chocolate I don't take photos.
However back in 2012 I came up with the idea of taking a whole family photo with the self timer, camera and tripod. Now we take it every year- same couch and everybody sits in the same spot, even the same pose! It has changed- my mum passed away, then my aunt so their spots are empty. One time my grandson went camping but my stepson was visiting from Thailand so he filled his spot- same pose even! We have added a cat, grandson's girlfriend and this year we held a lightbox saying Happy Easter 2017. I love these photos, they show our nieces growing from young girls into teenagers and my daughter often has a new hair colour/do!
The best thing is I can use any colours/embellishments- usually focus on family titles but sometimes include Easter.

I'm on school holidays and am determined to catch up on some scrapbooking this year! Last year I only did 18 layouts and this year I have done 30 so far. Today I am picking up 124 photos so will spend the afternoon picking papers and looking for sketches/inspiration. I tend to do things in a production line - pick and print photos, organise paper and sketches for 20 or so layouts, then design titles on Cameo, write journaling on computer and finally start putting a layout together. My husband wants to go to Yum Cha so that will take a few hours out of my day. I am hoping to go on a 3 day retreat in July- really miss the once a year camp I used to go on years ago. I don't go on crops either, not many around here. But I do enjoy shutting my door, putting on my music and doing anything scrappy from sorting photos, putting layouts into albums or creating new ones. Corinne

Yes, I am a lucky 1 in 100,00 people diagnosed with Pemphigus Vulgaris. I recently discovered the International Pemphigus and Pemphigoid Facebook page through a rare disease day page which is based in the USA. I saw a story from a woman in the US and I did reply to her but as her post was from 2014 I don't think she will see it.
I was diagnosed 13 years ago, just after my 40th birthday , which is a common age risk factor. I am also of Indian descent which is also a risk factor. I took very high doses of Prednisilone every day for a few years, but have now transferred to Imuran which has a lot less side effects. I am very lucky that it keeps my symptoms at bay, my specialist has other patients that can't work, often hospitalised etc. I saw him a few months ago and he called in 2 other drs to look at me as he is amazed how well I am doing. (fingers crossed!) I still get a few lesions on my scalp and my head burns terribly during hot weather in direct sunlight. That said, I holiday in Fiji regularly and go to the beach here too in Australia. Always wear a hat with 50SPF and sit under a UV shelter. My mouth can get very sore and sensitive at times also.
My specialist nearly took me off the Imuran last year but then found 2 lesions on my head and decided not to. His reasoning is that I am on a very low dose (50 mg per day) and he is concerned that if it comes back it may be a lot more resistant to the drugs. Imuran does mean that I have a higher risk of cancers, particularly skin cancers but he checks my skin yearly and I have mammograms and other tests regularly. I have checked with my relatives in India and no-one knows of anyone with it and I have searched for support groups here in Australia with no luck. If she does find any support groups, I would appreciate you letting me know- I agree that actually hearing about real people's experience can be very helpful. When I try to explain what disease I have, I end up just saying it's an auto immune disease and it mainly effects my skin. Strangely enough, I just came across 2 photos that were taken of my chest and back area when I was diagnosed. Very scary, but as I said I have been very lucky so far.
Sending good wishes to your sister- the starting point is being diagnosed. I had terrible lesions all over me for 3 months before a formal diagnosis which came about mainly through a chance statement. Originally my Dr thought I had impetigo (school sores). I am a teacher and had a student off school for a week with them and since I gave him medication daily, it seemed likely I had picked it up from him. Antibiotics were not working, I was in agony with sores spreading when I mentioned to my Dr that my gums and mouth were very sensitive. ( one of the first signs of pemphigus usually). I hadn't mentioned it before as I thought is was just after effects from having my teeth cleaned. He looked up photos in a medical book, rang the hospital who said it was very unlikely and they could fit me in for an apt in 4 weeks time (it was just before Christmas) I was told to come into emergency if my temperature got too high. (likely due to infection) Luckily my Dr rang my now specialist who took one look at me, did a biopsy and gave me a prescription for Prednisilone without even waiting for biopsy results. I began to feel better and my skin started healing within days.

Thanks for you replies and suggestions.
I adjusted the blade depth, got my husband to hold a torch under and the blade seems to descend at the beginning, touch the paper and then retreat back up. It has been plugged in for a few days now so it should be fully charged. It is so frustrating because it seems to work otherwise.
I may have to go on Ebay and see if I can find a cheap one - even though it takes longer to cut letters and images I still would like to use it.
I got my Cricut out , put a new blade in and thankfully that still seems to work okay!
I'm going to make the effort to use it more, it is so easy to go straight to my Cameo but I do like the Cricut cartridges I bought. And sometimes the images I have bought from the Silhouette store are way too complicated with the layers etc and you don't know until you buy it and try to use it!

Only one that I can remember. Last year our old, 15 yr old cat with dodgy legs who never ventured from our back yard or his food bowl went missing. We live at the bottom of a cul-de -sac and searched our neighbours yards in vain. After 10 days we assumed he got sick and hid under bushes somewhere to die. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/mYSUyHtG9Jrcmm_ydVcK.jpg) We went away for the weekend to our local mountain ranges , 6hrs drive away, spent several nights in a tent. Our last night I had the strangest dream that Jake had come home. My husband said 10 days? no , he is gone for good. That night our son in law came in and mentioned that we had forgotten to lock up one of the cats. No, they are all in for the night. He insisted that there was a black and white cat outside. I assumed it was a stray and could not have been more surprised than to look out the window and there was Jake, meowing! We took him to the vets who was amazed by how well he was, hardly dehydrated and seemingly okay. After that Jake stayed in the house, pretty well on the couch all day long ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) until he passed away peacefully 3 months later. Still have no idea where he was for those 10 days and still amazed at how strong my dream was. My rational mind said don't be silly, but I was so happy to be proven wrong! Corinne

That dress is nice. Thanks for that website. I am not finding what I want locally so I may try them. Did you notice that each dress is custom-made to their customers measurements? I thought that was really interesting. I read the reviews for this dress and it sounds like they have satisfied customers for quality, fit, and fast delivery. Not an endorsement since I've never ordered from them... just what I read on their site. Oh please check out this website through Google for more reviews. I very nearly bought my wedding dress from them as the reviews ON THEIR SITE were so good. Then I googled them elsewhere- absolute nightmarish stories of ill fitting dresses, cheap material and lots of photos of unwearable dresses. And apparently it was very difficult to get your money returned, they offered a partial discount on your NEXT item! There was also lots of people saying that they dresses pictured on their website were stolen from other designers. When I tried to click on your link it came up with a dangerous site block. Yes there are good reviews but they were rare and suspiciously over the top wonderful. Corinne ( I'm talking about JJ' house)

I have not used mine for a few years but it has been sitting nicely on my desk in it's special MM caddy.
I really do like some of the fonts I have so I decided to get it out.
I have put a new blade in, homed it but it still won't cut my cardstock. It doesn't seem to even be touching it, there is no marking whatsoever. I looked up videos on YouTube but still no luck. Considering I had only gone through one blade as I bought a Cricut soon after, this may well be the most expensive scrapbooking tool I have ever bought!
Does anybody have any ideas? I am going to try charging it overnight to see if that makes a difference. It worked perfectly when I was still using it so I am not understanding why it would just stop working. I turned it upside down and all the parts are moving, just not cutting. I am going to get my Cricut out in a minute and see if that still works!

Not me, but one morning, on her way to work, my daughter walked all the way up our street without any pants on. She had a flowy, tunic top on and in her hurry to catch the bus, put her shoes on and headed out. Luckily she felt the breeze and ran home for her pants. She used to catch the bus to work and her teenage son also caught the same bus and got off at his high school. He usually sat on the bus several seats behind her- too embarrassed to sit with his mum. On one occasion he leant over and whispered "mum". She was excited that he was actually talking to her in public until he said "Your top is on inside out". ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I just remembered - I do have my own story. I had just left hospital after having my baby and needed to go to the shopping centre to buy some things. I left my daughter at home with my mum and headed off with my partner. I was wearing a beautiful, white, cotton embroidered dress and felt a little excited at wearing a nice dress with a belt after wearing baggy sack dresses for 9 months. (maternity clothes in 1981 were atrocious!) After an hour or so of wandering around several different shops we went home. I then discovered that my dress was so see through, you could see my big granny knickers and worse - two round nursing pads through my bra! If I had actually been pushing a newborn in a pram, I would have felt better but without a baby in sight- embarrassment plus. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Corinne

I just went looking and found SEVEN bottle of this paint in an wire stand I have. Strawberries and Cream still has the silver foil lining but does look a bit dried up. However, Evergreen, Meadow (my favourite!) Manila, Monarch ( great orange), Expresso and Shopping bag are not dried up. They seem a bit thick and gluggy but I am definitely going to try and use them. I wonder if storing them on an angle has made any difference. Surely they must be very old. Now, to decide how to use them?! I confess that I still have a few sets of their foam stamps which I have used with ink a few years ago. Maybe I should try a stencil? I'll update when I get a chance to play with them. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Corinne

I bought 1-6 originally in hard copy form but was very excited when they released them in digital. Living in Australia meant high postage. I also went through them and have separated the sketches by how many photos they use. I then rebound them with plastic covers so now I can just go to the 6 photo book when I have 6 photos to scrap. I too have used some of the sketches multiple times. I think one in particular I have used about 8 times! Considering the uses- Halloween, family, pet, school, Hawaii, Fiji, food and my childhood no one would ever notice! This thread has just reminded me that I have not used the latest one so I think I shall get it out on this lazy Saturday afternoon and have a look through it. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I only wished I lived closer, I get their emails and I would love to order their kits and visit their shop- looks amazing. Well, our big huntsman had disappeared for a few days. All good. Today he crawled out of the air conditioning duct RIGHT ABOVE my daughter's bed while she was laying there relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. Much screaming and scrambling ensued and now with the help of a big pole he is hiding behind her cupboard. She did say 'now he must die" but we won't kill him. Corinne
