Back of the hand could be interpreted several ways. He deleted the post and his clarification condemning violence in absolute terms can't be interpreted in several ways. And Reich takes no personal responsibility? He deleted the post. You were here, posting on other threads. I can see why searching your history for criticism of Democrats could take a while. Sorry if asking you to edit a misleading or incomplete post is unreasonably pushy or demanding.Deleting the post, blaming others for HIS choice of words, and not apologizing for his violent imagery against a woman that didn't vote the way he demanded, is not taking responsibility. You wouldn't let that be described as taking responsibility by ANYONE on the right. You would never let that stand. And I said "You're being a bit unreasonably pushy and demanding that things get done in your time frame." You left off the last part of my sentence. You have a bad habit of doing that. He didn’t do what you’re interpreting. As usual you make up shit as you go.

Not OK when anyone on either side encourages violence. I think it's also important to add this, Robert Reich deleted the tweet and posted this. Not really an equal representation. Perhaps you could edit your post or title. From the Left leaning > Mediaite“Back of the hand” can also be used idiomatically to mean rebuke. But then, so can the word “rebuke.” Reich chose the words he used." Previously, when he was chastising others for their rhetoric... "Reich was clear that the implications of rhetoric are the responsibility of the person speaking. Still, at this time Reich has taken no responsibility for his own violent imagery." From the Left leaning > Mediate
For someone who likes to zone in on particulars and details, point out inaccuracies etc., it's interesting to me that pixiechick so far has neglected to edit her own misleading or incomplete post or title. Holy hell. It doesn't occur to you that people do other things besides this board or what? Beside the fact that when I did comeback YOU had asked me to provide proof of something I said on another thread, so I was getting that. You're being a bit unreasonably pushy and demanding that things get done in your time frame. Gaslighting and changing up typical of what Gia does.

Since you didn't post the original tweet or link (impossible since its been deleted), I'm guessing that you might have known the tweet was deleted, at a minimum. And since the tweet was 9 days old, you might have also known that he posted a tweet clarifying his comment and condemning violence in no uncertain terms She won’t. She thinks she’s being “coy”, gotcha, own those Libs—a provocateur. It’s hilarious to see her puts these things too, because these are the people who defend trump and what he stands for. Notice how she’s not starting (or speaking out against) the Capitol who beat the ever living life out if other humans? Or how she’s not talking about the guy arrested who was heading to DC to kill Biden? Or about that guy who lived in his trump van and sent powder (bombs) threats to a whole lot of democrats?

Pretty hypocritical since the OP couldn’t ever make a post condemning the violence that republicans threatened daily.

The government shouldn’t be in the business of making medical decisions. One entire party has, for years, echoed the motto “My body, my choice.” Now they have abandoned it and given ownership of their bodies and minds to leaders who can’t be questioned. I never thought I would see the day that I would call myself either a Republican or a conservative, but here we are. The Dems are going to lose, they’re going to lose big, and they don’t understand why. This is why. I am heartbroken at how the party I have always identified with and voted for has lost its damn mind and gone too far off the left hand deep end. So, yes, I think this country has become really messed up. I hope it’s not too late. You're opposed to mask mandates. You're opposed to vaccine mandates. You're against vaccine passports. In spring 2020, you opposed lockdowns. You wanted the freedom to travel anywhere. You didn't care about the health risks to workers, you just wanted Disney, NASCAR, movie theaters, museums etc to be open. You bragged about not wearing masks during the biggest spikes of covid. You also callously bragged about going to a theater with 4,000 of your closest friends. Sorry, but the pure selfishness of your beliefs aligns perfectly with today's Republican Party. You are not a Democrat, and it's not likely that you ever truly were a Democrat. You're entitled to your opinions, at least have the courage to own them and don't pretend you’re heartbroken about the Democratic Party. We we can agree that the country is really messed up, but it’s not because of the Democrats. We are doomed because people like you think your personal freedoms and beliefs are more important than the greater good. All her shit is all selfish. Me me me me. Typical of those conservative/republican types. They whine lie cheat to get what they want, everyone else who doesn’t think like them be damned.

NOT GOVERNMENT. Not any politicians. Not one democrats that I know of has “abandoned” our fight for bodily autonomy. You’re disingenuous with words here. It absolutely does not mean that Democrats blindly follow the advice of leaders (politicians) UNLIKE republicans and conservatives who have quite literally turned most, if not all their medical “decisions” over to believing and following what politicians, right wing talking heads, far right media are telling them to do. Democrats question authority all the damn time—you have it backwards—conservatives and republicans are the ones laying down, allowing corrupt politicians tell them what to do, what to believe all based on lies. Republicans don’t want you yo think or question shit. They want you do what they say and not as they do.

He’s deluded then, because they’re not the ones that create the final criteria for getting the organs. I bet given this, every transplant program in the country requires it. “Given the shortage of available organs, we do everything we can to ensure that a patient who receives a transplanted organ has the greatest chance of survival. Our Mass General Brigham healthcare system requires several CDC-recommended vaccines, including the COVID-19 vaccine, and lifestyle behaviors for transplant candidates to create both the best chance for a successful operation and to optimize the patient’s survival after transplantation, given that their immune system is drastically suppressed. Patients are not active on the waitlist without this. Research has shown that transplant recipients are at a much higher risk of dying from COVID-19 when compared to non-transplant patients. This guidance is in alignment with recommendations from the American Society of Transplantation, American Society of Transplant Surgeons and International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation. Like most other transplant programs across the country, the COVID-19 vaccine is one of several vaccines and lifestyle behaviors that are required for patients awaiting solid organ transplant. Transplant candidates must also receive the seasonal influenza and hepatitis B vaccines, follow other healthy behaviors, and demonstrate they can commit to taking the required medications following transplant. At the Brigham and across our system, we have transplant guidelines that we follow in alignment with recommendations from the American Society of Transplantation, the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation. More information is available here. We follow this guidance in order to create both the best chance for a successful operation and also the patient’s disease-free survival, given that their immune system is suppressed after transplant. Research has shown that transplant recipients are at a higher risk of dying from COVID-19 when compared to non-transplant patients. Transplant recipients must take immunosuppressive medications after receiving a transplanted organ. This means that after a transplant, recipients will develop less of an antibody response to a vaccine and are especially vulnerable to severe illness if they contract the virus. For this reason, experts recommend COVID-19 vaccination before organ transplantation to lower the chance of severe disease and death if a recipient becomes infected. Exceptions to these requirements are reviewed by a multidisciplinary group of experts in transplantation.” www.brighamandwomens.org/about-bwh/newsroom/transplant-candidate-vaccinationThere are super good reasons why they require it. I can’t see he’d get an exception for outright refusal. His logic is baffling, after all his body may reject his transplanted organ, but he’s willing to risk that. I'm only speculating, but I think the family has a lot of misinformation about the transplant process (probably the vaccine too). The father mentioned exploring all options and looking at other hospitals. No other hospital is going to perform the surgery or put him back on the list as long as he remains unvaccinated. And again, just speculation, but I imagine an entire team of doctors and possibly hospital administrators very thoroughly explained his options and the consequences of refusing the vaccine. On this..you cannot cure stupidity or ignorance. You can be almost certain that the doctors have covered all their bases with a transplant process, and if the family is spouting off to the media something else, chalk that up to ignorance or just plain stupidity. So many unnecessary martyrs. They’ll get go fund me’s for the family and other grifting bullshit to put the burden on someone else.

I'm not a football fan (hockey is my sport) but DH is a life long Bills fan so I am in the room while the games are on and pay attention occasionally. Tonight's game was a rollercoaster. Good game with a lousy ending for our house. But my overwhelming question from the start of the game is how in the hell in this day and age is the Tomahawk Chop still a thing? I have no idea. I think it’s ridiculous when the Braves fans do it, and equally ridiculous when the chiefs fans do it. I also wonder why both have retained their names when other teams didn’t. Maybe because they’re located in the south?

It’s not what republicans “believe” it’s what they can SELL.
They get away with doing absolutely nothing by verbalizing fear, preying on the weak and stupid, grifting, getting their corporate donors to contribute $$$$ to keep them from being taxed and regulated.
They lie, cheat, bully steal to get their way.

For Peas with longer hair that prefer having it up at night, is there a good hair tie that will make nice curls when you undo it in the morning? I have to have my hair up otherwise it tickles me & blows all over my neck & face. I wrap the T-shirt scrunchie down the length of my ponytail then twist it into a bun the wrap the last of the tie into a bun. I get big beautiful waves/curls as a result.

Like I said, she gets all her news from a dude on TV who isn’t sexually attracted to M&M’s anymore!!!! Nice try. I don’t even know what you are talking about m&m. We can say the same things about the Pfizer and moderna CEO’s pocketing billions from covid drug money. Not to mention nancy polisi and her multi millions from stock options. Trump grifted the entire 4 years. He didn’t divest his company like every potus before him. Republican/GOP are rampant with criminals. Go look up how many have been indicted during trump regime. DeSantis is creating legislation around protecting all his pharmaceutical donors. MTG has at least 2x in recent months benefitted financially (and within 24 hrs of its release) from congressional knowledge in stock trades. Pfizer CEO’s are not “pocketing” billions as you claim (everyone knows pocketing is a derogatory term). The company has billions in sales, not just from the US. But I’m sure you’re too lazy to check facts—like they’ve spent over $10 billion this last year for R&D on vaccines. They’ve spent billions to make it possible for children to be vaccinated against covid. They’ve spent billions yo get the vaccine available to the poor in many countries. Everything you’ve posted here proves my point over and over…you’re a gaslighting liar. Full stop. You post the dumbest shit, it’s so easily disproven. .

Yawn….biden and his party….high gas prices, out of control grocery prices, millions of illegals, large numbers of them bringing Covid over the borders. A vice prez who has done NOTHING, covid crisis and one hand not knowing what the other is doing in that regard. Now we are just waiting for Russia to step on over here and try a takeover. Out of control crime in mostly democratic run cities. Murders in Chicago alone the worst in 30 years. I could go on and on but I’m watching Harry Potter. Oh and one more thing, I don’t know one conservative who has wished death on anyone but I have seen dozens on this board alone wishing death or laughing and cheering anyone who has covid or has died and/or is against the vax mandate. THAT is the epitome of a brainwashed cult member. Chicago to the tune of On crime, Chicago doesn't Crack the top 10. Looking it up, I was genuinely surprised to see so many predominantly GOP enclaves make the list. I'm not sure how Chicago continues to be the proverbial whipping boy. Illegal immigrants aren't responsible for any of our covid waves. The numbers don't bear out there either. Perhaps common sense safety measures might bring covid under control. Presidents aren't the gatekeepers on gas or groceries, but I'd love to see oil and grocery execs stop making record profits on our backs while they enjoy massive bonuses. If only they hadn't continued to be emboldened by permanent tax cuts they tucked into their pockets rather than giving the common citizen a break. Enjoy Harry Potter. I loved the reunion show. Like I said, she gets all her news from a dude on TV who isn’t sexually attracted to M&M’s anymore!!!!

Such a whiny, lying, gaslighting snowflake you are. Still deplorable I see. You know you’re getting your information from a tv entertainer (not a reliable news source) who suddenly finds that M&M’s are no longer “fuckable” because of a difference in shoes right! You are the biggest misogynist of all. And Nothing I said was untrue. You’re a liar. It’s been proven repeatedly. Pretty much everything you’ve said here on this thread is a gaslighting lie. Ha! I’m far from a misogynist (you should really get yourself an education) you and your party are destroying everything women have worked for and earned. I don’t despise you and your kind because you’re a woman, I despise everything you stand for as a conservative—- you’re a hypocrite, a gaslighter and liar.
