I have chronic post nasal drip. What works for me: (Some days I don't need to use anything. Some days I use one, some or all. It depends on my amount of sinus congestion/post nasal drip, on any given day) Flush sinus cavity with neti-pot. Mucinex "severe congestion relief" liquid. Flonase spray. Gargle with salt water. Humidifier (sometimes I will sit right over it for few minutes and inhale the steam). I always feel like I have a little or big(and everywhere in between) hunk of thick sinus goo sitting in the back of my throat. I try to clear my throat and spit it up and out, but that doesn't always work (no other way to describe it >> it feels thick and clingy, and sometimes doesn't want to detach and depart, therefore it sits in the back of my throat. Apologies for the gross TMI. Many times I've thought "I wish I could stick one of those baby bottle brush cleaners, down my throat and give it a spin and pull it out...I imagine it would be dripping with thick sinus goo. . Lots of good advice on this thread. Sometimes, it's "trial and error" to find what works for you(or lack thereof). I had this exact thing in my throat for two years! It was like it was stuck between my nose and mouth and I couldn’t get it to come down far enough to cough it out. It was even hard to breath thru my nose. The air would get stuck behind the chunk of goo and I had to breathe thru my mouth. I was on Zyrtec, Mucinex, Flonase and saline gel in my nose. But what helped the most was the neti pot, but using it wrong. I would pour water in my nose and let it run out my mouth. Sounds gross but I got the most relief that way. Did that 3-4 times every day.

A dollar bill that’s scrunched up (but flat) to smaller than the size of a credit card.
Been there close to 25 yrs. my ex husband worked at Fruit if the Loom then and ran a compactor machine. It scrunched the fabric but kept it flat. That was their was of making fabric pre-shrunk. Hard to explain but it scrunched the fabric to a smaller size then they cut the shirt pieces. The scrunches fell out as it was sewed and handled but then when the garment was washed the first time it would shrink to the size it was supposed to be because it was cut bigger.

Hey, now, you know the rules around here! We need this recipe. I don't mind people bringing things, as long as they check in first. Only once did I have a guest show up with a bag of unwashed, uncut produce when they said they'd bring a salad (I could have cried - salad is one of my Most Hated Things to make). I'm not a fancy cook, though. As a guest, when I'm told in no uncertain terms to "just bring yourself," I show up with wine, sparkling water (DH drinks GALLONS of sparkling water, so I always worry that the hosts won't have enough!), or a box of nice chocolates (which they can set out with dessert if they like, or keep to enjoy after the guests have left). It's pretty similar to others out there. But it's hands down a family favorite now. I made it for Christmas dinner at Grandma's one year and now everyone on that side of the family makes it too. Sweet Potato Casserole 3 cups sweet potatoes, mashed 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup butter, softened 1/4 cup milk 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla Topping: 1/3 cup butter, cold 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed 1/2 cup flour 1 cup pecans, chopped Mix up the sweet potato mixture and put into an oven-safe buttered 9" x 13" casserole dish. In a separate bowl, use a pastry blender or fingers to crumble the butter into the sugar and flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add pecans, mix, and sprinkle over the top of the sweet potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until crumb mixture browns. I usually make this up a day ahead of time--just don't add the crumble until ready to bake or the nuts get soggy. I make up the streusel mixture ahead of time, but I put it in a separate ziplock bag. I bake the sweet potatoes, let them cool, then slip them out of their skins. No peeling necessary! Or you boil them, or use canned sweet potatoes. It's not fussy. You can make this in a crock pot and it turns out well. From cold, I'd cook it about 6 hours in the crock pot. When you bake it in the oven, it takes about an hour if the sweet potato mixture is hot, or about 90 minutes if it's cold from the refrigerator. If I'm short of oven space, I've been known to heat up the potato puree in the microwave before putting it in the casserole dish and adding the topping. My recipe is similar. Substitute bourbon for the milk, leave out the eggs and add 1/2 cup oats to the topping.

If I’m cooking I’m doing it all! I like my family recipes. I don’t want something you brought when you have pet hair or dandrufff covering your clothes and your hands look like they haven’t been washed in a month. No thx!
I want everything ready at the same time and hot. Not cold green beans out of a can that you cooked three hours ago.
My aunt insisted on bringing baked beans one thanksgiving, as as soon as each person tasted them they looked at me with this awful face and said these aren’t your beans! 😂😂😂

i always buy a new game for Christmas Eve but I can’t find one that looks fun this year. Something for 3-5 people is best. Give me your best suggestions! We have Cards Against Humanity, Exploding Kittens, What Do You Meme, Blockus.

Jeep Renegade is fairly square. Available in 4x4, so off the ground. Still small and easily maneuverable.

Don’t have a pic handy but my bangs stood up 13 1/2 inches tall when I started beauty school. The instructors were fascinated by them and actually measured. 😂😂😂

Ok so what's with the brand on Michonne's back? I bet she branded herself to mirror Rick’s wound. To remember him.

And the mind eraser pen from Men in Black.
I just saw a KFC commercial where the Colonel was doing the final dance from Dirty Dancing with Mrs. Butterworth.
Can they just just stop doing commercials with the Colonel. They are all so creepy!

I admit that in a past scrapbookers life I was addicted to buying Basic Grey paper collections. It is just sitting on a shelf getting old and dated, but I can`t throw it out and nowhere to donate it. You can donate it to me! 😂 Basic grey was one of my favorite paper companies ever! Was just talking about this to a friend last week while scrapping. I was using scraps of basic grey to make a layout that I know were probably 12-14 yrs old.

Dreamcatchers are the absolute best extensions! They offer tape in or individual piece types. You can go to their website and use their salon locator for your area.
The individual type (I-tip) when installed correctly can be styled any way imaginable. You can wear them up and attachments don’t show. Human hair that can be heat styled. Hair can be reused multiple times. A lot of extensions cannot be reused.

Bourbon, honey and lemon juice. About a tablespoon of each mixed and microwave it about 20-30 seconds and just sip it. Works wonders soothing the throat.

I love it! I could live with the Mickey pool but the decor inside would go. What’s with the tile section of floor in the pink bedroom? It looks like a path thru the middle of the carpet.

Coconut is showing up in everything and as my allergy gets worse, this is becoming quite a problem. I still think the caramel in a can is brilliant. Coconut allergy sucks!! It’s in everything now. Even hair products. I’m a hairdresser. 🙄

When I started beauty school years ago, our mannequin heads that came in our kit all had lice. What a way to start school. That’s not even possible. Lice live on live human heads. They live off blood. They wouldn’t survive on a plastic mannequin. They were dead but still very attached to the hair.

I’m thinking my not so DH is making me mad by not stopping to get me peach daiquiri mix on his way home from work. No where in our small town stocks it. He is an hour away for work, lots of places he could stop on the way but no I’ll have to drive 30 min one way Saturday afternoon after work to get it before a party we are invited to that night.
