I came across this recipe recently and love it - I've made it twice in the past couple of weeks
Mexican Red Pepper Soup
1 Tbsp and 1 tsp olive oil 1 lb ground turkey, 97% lean Sea salt & pepper, to taste 1 cup red onion, diced 3 cups red bell pepper, chopped 3 cloves garlic, chopped 2-3 cups chicken or vegetable broth 3 cups fire roasted diced tomatoes 1/2 tsp dried basil 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp chili powder 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes 1 tsp dried oregano
In a large soup pot, add 1 tsp oil and ground turkey. Season with salt and pepper. Brown over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Add remaining oil, onions, bell peppers and garlic. Cook until vegetables have softened, stirring occasionally. Add broth, diced tomatoes, basil, cumin, chili powder, red pepper flakes, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix well. Cover and simmer on low, stirring occasionally. Cook for about 2 hours, or until flavors marry.
Separate into 4 equal servings.
Note: It makes 4 generous servings - I actually get 6 regular servings out of the recipe.

I have made these a few times and they are really good
Marmalade Meatballs
1 bottle (16 ounces) Catalina salad dressing 1 cup orange marmalade 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1 package (32 ounces) frozen fully cooked home-style meatballs, thawed
In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine the salad dressing, marmalade, Worcestershire sauce and pepper flakes. Stir in meatballs. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through.
A non-meatball crockpot appetizer that is always a hit
Trisha Yearwood’s Corn Dip
1 pound frozen corn kernels, thawed 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed 1/2 cup chopped jarred pimientos 2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped 1 pound frozen corn kernels, thawed 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed 1/2 cup chopped jarred pimientos 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 1 teaspoon chili powder Kosher salt 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Tortilla chips, for serving
Combine the corn, cream cheese, pimientos, jalapeños, garlic, chili powder and some salt in a slow cooker. Cook on low heat for 1 hour. Stir to mix in the cream cheese. Continue to cook for another 2 hours. Stir in the cilantro and season with salt.
Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.

Yes! Lol at the moose because that’s extremely common (we literally see moose daily). I’ve been on that trail she’s running on. I’ve been to most of the spots they are filming. It’s fun for us to watch parts of “home” on this show. SPOILER ALERT: One hilarious part is that she gets a free ride to Kodiak with a guy she met once. The flight in that Beaver plane would have been over $4000 and she offers to buy him a drink lol. Some thank you! Small plane flights are spendy! Ha ha, and the guy was like…no big deal about the flight. Too funny.

I am watching and still look forward to it each week. Sheldon’s deeper voice though, makes him sound like a robot. I am enjoying Georgie’s and Mary’s storylines though.

Yes, most of the time I have some kind of background music or the TV on. Not all the time, sometimes I just enjoy the quiet but about 90% of the time, when I am home alone, I like some the TV or Music playing.

I knew about his addiction, of course, but had no idea of all that he went through. Wow! I have the audio book on pre-order and I'm looking forward to it.

I would love to have a place like that for a weekend get-a-way kind of home...a 2nd home - place where I could go and relax and a little vacation spot.

It is..my sister uses the one she made pretty much all winter long (she made a blue/tan striped one). It does hold up well...but just a little heavy for me.

I was on the old Two Peas In A Bucket scrapbook site. I joined there because I wanted WDW scrapbook page ideas and a google search took me there. Eventually, I found the scrapbook board and about a year or so later, I started interacting with the non-scrapbook related board (NSBR). When Two Peas in a Bucket closed - I was grateful to admin for setting up this place so we could move over here.

I knitted one (you knit using your hands not needles). It was pretty easy to do and only took about 5 hours. My sis wanted to take a class to learn how to do make it so I went along with her.
Honestly though, I never use it..I'm not especially fond of the feel of the chunky yarn...it is durable, but it isn't very practical and it difficult to store. I prefer regular throws and afghans. My cat enjoys it though

I don't donate expired food to a food bank, but I can see why they keep food past their expiration dates.
Canned food, especially, is good well past their suggested expiration dates. Many boxed foods are also good way past their expiration dates. Dairy on the other hand, 2 weeks seems a bit long to keep it to me...cheese may keep longer, but milk and yogurt don't last too long after their expiration dates.

I remember that thread but I am having trouble finding it. I recall one pea posting THIS SITE - but it is for first and last name. THIS SITE may be what you are seeking - it gives the surname origin and number of people listed in the family tree of different countries

’m confused. Are these baked beans? In a baked potato, or separately? They are baked beans on toast and usually eaten for breakfast. Heinz baked beans are used, and they are a bit different than the baked beans in the US - they are not as sweet.

Blue Bloods now comes on UP TV and it is also on Paramount+ and Amazon Prime Video. It has just started its 13th season. Have you watched Grey's Anatomy? It has a lot of seasons and is a great show.
I know those are not as light-hearted as Seinfeld but they are entertaining.

I like this one
3/4 cup mayonnaise 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Mix mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. (I like to make the day before I plan to serve - tastes better after it sits a while in the fridge)
