I am having a hard time deciding...there are 5 that sound good to me. I'm leaning towards "Rich Blood" but going to think about it a little bit before deciding.

I think it is plausible. When my cousin’s son was little (up until he was about 7), whenever they drove past a certain McDonald’s (not just any one, but one location in particular), he would point at it and say, “Look, there is the McDonald’s where I used to work”. One day, when he was about 2, she went in with him to eat lunch and he asked the cashier “Where is Jim?” - the cashier said “He is off today” - my cousin asked her son, “Who is Jim”?” - he said “The manager” She was thinking to herself, how does my 2 year old know what a manager is? The cashier said, Yes, he is the manager, but he’s off today.”
As he grew older, he stopped saying he worked there….just makes you wonder.

Oh yes ! My friend left me a voicemail and asked me if I ever tried the cookies at Sugar Shane’s because she was on her way there to get a couple. I had never even heard of the place. A few minutes later, I opened Facebook and ads for Sugar Shane’s popped up, even though I never looked it up. It just picked it up from her voice message….crazy.

Yes, my dad wore “Old Spice” after shave and sometimes when home alone, I get a big whiff of it although none is in the house. I think it is their way of letting us know they are still with us.

I prefer Laz-E-Boy furniture. I bought my living room furniture from there 14 years ago (fabric) and they still look great. I have a recliner but it doesn't look like a typical recliner...it looks more like a chair but it does recline. I find it takes less space than a traditional recliner.

I think the past couple of episodes have been better, since Turner and the Leftovers got all involved and decided to shake things up a little. I have more respect for Turner now that he stood up for Taylor in front of everyone and is trying to put an end to the bullying.
I think Ameerah handled everything well. She didn't seem to take things personally and could understand the game play.

I actually have a couple...my main long-term savings account is with a credit union. I keep a smaller savings account at the same bank where I have my checking account...it is just like a "fall back" account in case I need a bit of extra money for something.

These people are awful - can we have a double elimination and send Nicole and Daniel home? Feeling bad for Taylor - no fun being on the outside and never having a chance. Hope the new alliance can make something happen - something shocking and satisfying that is! I wasn't surprised by Daniel's actions - he's a tool anyway but I was a bit surprised by Nichole - I, too, felt bad for Taylor..she seemed to be genuine to me and wasn't being passive aggressive (IMO). I'm glad "The Leftovers" took her into their group. Of course, not watching the live feeds, I don't know why they all dislike Taylor so much. I do think "The Leftovers" are somewhat smart to try to get rid of Ameerah, she is a good player and it would be a smart move.

It can be hard to find balance but I am a list maker (as you mentioned above) and that helps me. I think I just realized that I don't need to do everything and if something doesn't get done, it isn't a disaster. I prioritize. Of course there are things that NEED to get done at work and home (like a report that is due or a bill that must be paid), there are things that SHOULD be done (like organize some files or wash the dishes) and there are things I WANT to do (like write up new procedures or crochet an afghan). I think balance is knowing the difference. Do the things you NEED to do first, then if you have time, do the things you SHOULD, then the things you WANT but remember...they don't ALL have to be done at the same time. Don't schedule every minute of your day, schedule only what it needed but leave some time open to just let the day take you where it goes.

Oh my goodness - I had switched my contacts like that before but luckily realized the problem before it got to the doctor. I can't recall a diagnostic incident but as she said, I am sure stuff like that happens more often than you think.

I am usually pretty busy at work during the day but do check my phone from time to time (email/FB/2Peas) but at 7 pm, I am done. I put my phone on the charger and say I am done for the day and don't generally look at it after that. Most everyone I know is aware of this so I seldom receive calls/text after 7 pm.
I won't say I NEVER check it after 7 pm but as a general rule, once it is on the charger, it stays there until after I am up, ready, showered and ready for work

In all honesty, you don't need a casual shoe. You will be doing a lot of walking, you need a good pair of walking shoes that are comfortable. Trust me Enjoy your trip - hope you win some money!!

Ok since we’ve moved on from spellings…I hate Standing on line. NO! You are standing IN line, literally. Calling out sick. NO! You called IN sick. I agree with you. I haven't heard "standing on line" but I have heard "calling out sick" and to me, I say "calling IN sick", because I called IN to work. One thing that bugs me, which I guess is not technically wrong, but to me it isn't how to say it. I have a co-worker that uses the word "ON" when it isn't needed. She will say (or write)...."I will get that report to you on tomorrow" or "I had a meeting on today" - I don't know why it bugs me, but it does...just say "I will get that report to you tomorrow", "I had a meeting today". You don't need the word "ON"

I love my pull down spice rack. Such a space saver and as a vertically challenged girl, it is helpful to pull them down from the cabinet so I can reach them. (Mine has 4 tiers, I got it at the Container Store)
I also love my lid organizer. Boy, that got rid of a lot of frustrations - I can immediately find the right lid and they aren't rumbling around lose & falling out of in my cabinet.

I went through something similar - I was the one in the accident and was in the hospital for a while - surgeries and such were involved. My brother died 2 days after my accident, while I was in the hospital, very unexpected and he was only 54. It amazed me how many people that I hadn't seen or been in contact with for years, was calling my family asking "what happened to us" - I guess they probably thought my brother was in the accident too, but he wasn't. Still..we were going through A LOT and just didn't want to repeat our story multiple times to people that we were not close to.
I'm sending healing prayers to your sister and mom and hope they make a complete recovery.

I think it is human nature to be curious as to why someone may have passed before old age. However, I don't think it is ever appropriate to ask that question.
I don't think you should ignore her, but if you don't want to disclose this to her, I would just reply with "For privacy reason, I prefer not to discuss" and leave it at that.

It bugs me when I have a typo so I try to catch it before sending, but it happens sometimes. It doesn't bother one little bit, though, if I receive a text with typos.

I have learned to be more like your DH, I don’t think about other’s political views and try to judge them based solely on their actions and how they live their life and treat others. You don’t have to accept him, just done be around when he is and avoid him when possible.

At the store, I only buy things that are necessities. For instance, in the past, when I would be grocery shopping, I might see a new product and think "Hmm, I will try that" - such as a new flavor of pop-tarts. Well, no more. I stick to my list 100% and don't buy anything extra. I even think "Is this something I NEED". Example, I don't NEED bottle water, I can use tap water (which is good in my area), I don't NEED ice cream, I only buy wholesome foods that can be made into a meal. Stuff like that.
I don't travel around as much either. I love exploring and in the past, I would love to drive to a town maybe an hour or two away that I had never seen and just look around and discover. I don't do that now, so I can conserve gas.
A couple of things I have not given up is professional color of my hair and my lawn service. I don't have time to do my own lawn, nor do I have the proper equipment...if I gave that up, I'd have to buy a lawnmower, weedeater, etc so for now, it is easier to keep the service. I could go back to coloring my own hair, but I don't want to - at least not yet.

I don't have strangers come to my door often, but if I am home, I generally answer. I keep the storm door locked and talk through the storm door. It is the kind that has a screen you can open so I usually do that so we can hear each other well.
In the case you mentioned...I am sure the man knew his dog was probably likely to bolt out the door when opened so he should have been thinking of this before opening it.

I'm a feed watcher so I try to be super careful about spoilers and such. What I wonder about is if something happened on the feed today but not the show, is it considered a spoiler to mention it tomorrow after the show? Or if something happened prior to the veto ceremony, can it be discussed after the veto ceremony is aired on TV? I think in this case - it is okay to do that but you might want to put "Live Feed Spoiler (episode has aired) and then use the spoiler button to put the info. That way, someone can decide if they want to read the spoiler or not

Yes, I had to resell my tix once. I just reposted them for what I paid. I wasn’t trying to make a profit, just wanted my money back. They sold within 30 minutes. It was easy and no problem.
