I have never heard of a koozie...I use a cooler or coolie cup, fabric and even frozen CocaCola ones. Where have I been living? Further clarification...it's pronounced kooooooozie, and not k long o like cozy? I feel left out that I have not encountered this word.

Try to check out after 11:00 pm Mountain time, after the inventory resets. It may solve your problem. I will, but since I placed the initial order at around noon pst yesterday and then tried to add something else just about an hour later I really donât think that is the problem. Â I had my cousin try with her zip in another state and close to an ikea and it wouldnât work for her either. Â Just keeps saying the zip code is wrong. Even if the item were out of stock it should offer to have it shipped, it just wonât go past the stage where I enter a zip to see my options. Â I think I am not understanding what you are trying to do. When I ordered something back in July, I picked my store and then answered questions for delivery zipcode, even though I didnt want delivery, just cancel at the end. I dont think Ikea is great about changing orders. Just delete and re order. They gave me a wrong item at pick up and I called about how to exchange and person on phone said I could go back to curbside pickup and Ikea person would get correct item....No, I had to go into store to exchange. See what comes up when inventory resets. It was the only way I could get a curbside pick up. Its like buying scrapbook supplies during a release! Hth

I think it means the item is not in stock. You should check for the item when the stock resets at 11:00 pm mountain time. Thats what I had to do to get a curbside pickup.

Why is it ok to lift a ban for 4 days? The virus wont care what day it is. Seems pretty stupid to me to expand bubble for a day or two. Do a zoom. Get together in the summer.

I have never tried this, but what if you put plastic wrap over the top of jello to keep it smooth. I do this with royal icing to keep it from getting a crusty top. Would be a cool experiment...lol

UPDATE - There was ice in the jello! I had issues with finding ice inside a bag of lettuce a couple of months ago. Now, ice in the jello. Apparently the refrigerator is too cold. Might be time to have it checked out. The thermostat is set higher than the recommended temperature. Also depends on what you have in fridge. Two cokes have exploded in our fridge when packed with a bunch of cans...

Do all coronaviruses have the same outer spiky covering? Does that mean that the vaccine will work even if it mutates? when it mutates, they can just change the DNA sequence to make a different mRNA sequence/protein for the vaccine.

I agree, kinda long video. Maybe great for kids doing remote learning for a science lesson. This dr. is so good, engaging, excited at explaining the science. Science is cool!

6 guys in one house with one bathroom seems like it would be an illegal rental. I would not want my bubble to be exposed to this many people. Dr. Fauci said that "you" are the conduit to the end of the chain. Think about what that end will be.

Yeah, the next soltice is in under 3 weeks. It will probably be just as the effects of Thanksgiving really kick in. Yup in 19 days. I said next Solstice because for half the world itâs the Winter Solstice and for the other half itâs Summer Solstice. I think itâs Summer Solstice for Australia which is where it has the place that the morning sun first touches the world. The dawning of Aquarius. That will be the peak... dawning of Aquarius has a new meaning.

@skellinton Thanks for the info. You answered many of my questions. I hear such different stories of surgery outcomes, that the idea of surgery scares me for future life problems. Did any of you curvy back girls have a leg length discrepancy? DD may have to deal with that too, but that's an easy fix now.

I'm somewhat terrified of telling her how long she needs to wear this. Can you tell me the progression of your degree of curve and why you needed the fusion and how you are doing now? We keep telling her we are doing this to avoid surgery. How is your quality of life? I donât remember when I was young what the progression was, I just know I went from 24 to 48 in less then a year and we decided then to do surgery -I was 12 when the decision was made. I was given the option of waiting until I was 16 or doing it when I was 13. My parents left that up to me. They were starting to do the surgery where I wouldnât have to wear the Milwaukee brace for so long, but since it was new my doctor wasnât willing to let me be a guinea pig and would only do the internal fusion I think it is called. He did say that if we waited the 4 years there was a chance the surgery wouldnât be so risky and I wouldnât have to wear the Milwaukee brace. I didnât want to wait and even at 12 I knew I would not want to be 16 and having surgery and possibly wear the brace, so I opted to have surgery at 13. By the time the did surgery my curve was 72. So it went from 24-72 in about 2.5 years. I needed the fusion because it was clear I wasnât getting better from the brace and I most likely would have ended up a hunchback with a collapsed lung. My quality of life is great, 35 years post surgery. I very, very rarely tweak my back where I have to take one muscle relaxer for a day but I can count on one hand how many times that has happened. I am not the most flexible being, but I can walk for miles and miles, play soccer, ride a bike, snowshoe, etc. High impact activities would likely aggravate my back just because I donât absorb shock well, but running and such are not things I would like to do anyway. I am perfectly happy with hiking, biking, stuff like that. I have known two other people similar to my age that had the surgery and you would never know for either of them. Their quality of life is great as well. I personally would prepare your daughter that she might have to have surgery, but obviously the brace is her best bet to avoid it. Obviously, of surgery is in the cards I would recommend sooner rather then later. I donât see any benefit in delaying the inevitable myself. What does the doctor say about how long she might have to wear this? Do you know at what degree they do surgery? I donât remember that. Is it over 30? I am perfectly willing to answer any questions you have and if there is something I donât know I can ask my mom. I honestly donât have anything negative to say about my experience, well, the surgery sucked and being in the hospital 10 days was no fun, but it is just a blip in my life now. What I remember is getting out of PE, having an extra elective in school, getting new clothes for when the brace came off (-Guess jeans- woo-hoo) and my friends being excited for me. 2 years of teeth braces were WAY worse then 7 years of the back brace. No word on what the degree would be for surgery. It's the wait and see game. DD will probably need teeth braces, too, so holding off on that because I feel like it would be torture for her to go through both now. I'll DM you with questions, if that would be ok? TFS.

This is a letter from Cherry Creek School District, Colorado.
I find this statement from the Superintendent confusing "Since our data has consistently shown that transmission of the virus does not happen in schools in any meaningful way" What does that mean?... yes it is serious... children can be carriers for COVID and infect staff. The Superintendent quoted 2 articles about how there's not evidence of transmission in schools in a previous letter about how safe schools are. Thoughts on this? Does he also suggest that there's no reporting of positive cases (kind of in a passive way?). Weird...
I posted the whole letter for context.
Dear Cherry Creek Schools Community, I hope you had a restful break. I want to share important information about the plan for school in the coming weeks. Due to the minimal reporting of student cases and continued high COVID incident rate in Arapahoe County (nearly 1,000 cases per 100,000 people) and the state, we are unable to operate schools. Therefore, the Cherry Creek School District will continue Remote learning for the rest of this semester. My hope is that by communicating this plan today, teachers can focus on consistent routines and students can have uninterrupted learning for the next three weeks. We will continue to work with the Tri-County Health Department and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to monitor COVID conditions in the state; however, since the district will be remote through December, we will temporarily stop tracking COVID on our website. If you would like to continue monitoring how the virus is impacting our community, please visit the following website: data.tchd.org/covid19/. Based on our first semester experience, we have a greater chance of operating successfully the closer the incident rate is to 500 cases per 100,000 people. Since our data has consistently shown that transmission of the virus does not happen in schools in any meaningful way, we are working closely with our teachersâ association and other groups to develop a plan for returning to In-Person learning in January. I will continue to send you updates as I have new information. Thank you for your continued partnership as we keep our students, staff and community safe. Sincerely, Scott A. Siegfried, Ph.D. Superintendent

I wore a Boston brace from the age of 6-12 then I had a spinal fusion at 13 and had to wear the Milwaukee brace for about 10 months. I wore the Boston brace about 22 hours a day, it only came off for bathing and just a break for about an hour after school. I pretty much grew up with it, so it wasnât like there was an adjustment for me, it was just part of my normal life. Fortunately this was the late 70s and 80s so baggy and boxy clothes kept the Boston brace pretty well covered. I donât think most kids could tell. Kids in my class knew, but I was honestly never teased about it. It got me out of certain things in PE so I milked that all I could in 5th and 6th grade. The post surgery Milwaukee brace was obviously very noticeable, but again, no one ever teased me about it. That was when I was in 8th grade. It was honestly when I was shopping and stuff the grown ups who would stare. When I got it off I didnât tell anyone and my best friend spent over an hour with me before school and didnât even notice it was gone. I agree about tshirts or tube tops underneath the brace. The tshirts were more effective but obviously bulky, so I wore tube tops during the day and tshirts when I got homes. I think my mom stitched a simple tube of stretchy fabric so it would be long enough as whatever tube tops one bought in the 70s were pretty short. I could play soccer in my, do the monkey bars and parallel bars and ride my bike. Swimming is supposed to be helpful but since I had to wear mine so much and so young I never really got swimming lessons. I donât recall having to sleep a certain way but I do know that I sometimes use a pillow between my knees if my back is bothering me. Does your daughter have PT? I had PT as part of my treatment, you should ask them about sleeping. Tell your daughter there are parts of it that suck but the alternatives are horrifying and it really isnât much different then wearing glasses or braces (all which I had to do and were MUCH worse then the brace). God, I was a pitiful thing at the age of 10! Glasses, braces and a back brace. I'm somewhat terrified of telling her how long she needs to wear this. Can you tell me the progression of your degree of curve and why you needed the fusion and how you are doing now? We keep telling her we are doing this to avoid surgery. How is your quality of life?

OMG! I can't believe that you just found Karen Foster papers. I pulled out my advent calendar that I made many years ago and could not remember the name of the person of the brand and inspiration. Serendipity, indeed. (not sure why pic inserts sideways).
They had at least 75 packs of the paper. So many different lines. Sometimes I am not clear in my postings and I don't write what I actually mean (of course, you can read my mind- ha!). Wasn't the advent calendar sold by Karen Foster and that's where I purchased it from many years ago? I was trying to do a search online to see where I got my inspiration for decorating the boxes and I couldn't remember KF's name until you mentioned it. I don't think the papers I used were from KF, just the calendar. Now I can do a search to see my inspirations. Kinda sucks getting old and not remembering specifics.

I wore a Boston brace for a couple of years. It is tough at first. I remember feeling out of breath, especially when sitting or after big meals. Is she wearing a cloth tube or a t-shirt under the brace? That helps keep skin irritation down. I also asked the person who made the brace to cut the edges below my hips higher because the length of the brace was getting in the way of riding my bike. It takes awhile to get used to sleeping in it too. It does get a little easier, if that helps. I wore lots of baggy sweaters and sweatshirts. My closest friends knew and I even got to the point where I was comfortable enough to take my brace off in the locker room for PE. I used my once-a-day free hour so I could at least play in PE. Really, it's the last thing a tween/teen wants to wear and be different. It's better than having back issues as an adult, but that isn't always relevant to kids. Good luck and tell your daughter I totally understand. She has been wearing the Boston spandex dress things (they gave use 3). Any other specific t-shirts? That's great that you rode your bike. Maybe I can talk DD into riding hers, too. She has been brave and has worn it overnight, going on the 3rd night. Does it matter which way she lays? The orthotist did not mention if she had to lay in a specific position to be effective. How many hours a day did you wear yours and what was your outcome so far?

Why does Biden have to be invited? Whatever the exact time and day it's official, Biden should show up. Is there such a thing, legally? Outgoing Presidents have invited incoming Presidents to the WH shortly after the election. It is called common courtesy to offer assistance, advice and chit chat, welcoming the incoming President to his/her soon to be home and work place. Obama invited dt to the WH within a few days of the election four years ago. On inauguration day the siting president welcomes the incoming President to the WH and escorts him and his wife to the inauguration site. dt must be out of the WH at 12 noon, Jan 20, 2021. Everything belonging to him will be removed and the Biden posessions will be moved in as well as acessories in all rooms will be changed out to to the Bidens' requests, items which they should be allowed to see and choose BEFORE the inauguration. I hadn't realized that the invite from Obama was a few days before. Thanks for clarifying. What a baby Dump is. Throw his shit out on the lawn at noon!

Anyone have suggestions/advice? She is on week 2, with increasing time to a goal of 16 hours/day. It's been tough. I hate strapping her in. She's at a 25 degree S curve. I guess one good thing is that we are doing remote this whole year so she will be used to it by next year for school.
Update 12-15-20: DD has worn the brace for 26 days. X-ray in brace shows her curve at 20 degrees. Orthotis thought he could have done better, so adjusted the brace, a bit too high on hip bone. DD thinks it fits much better after adjustment. Did you know that there is a temperature monitor in the belly button area that monitors the hours she has worn it? Pretty clever.. We got a very detailed chart of hours, days of week, weekend vs. weekday, worn. Still building up hours, but has worn it overnight for 5 days. Overall, doctor very pleased.

So what does that mean for Covid? This is just what I heard on the inside that itâs going to not be as aggressive and be like the flu. What Iâm getting intuitively is the frequency of the Earth is rising and the energies with lower frequencies wonât rise with it. Fear is known as a lower frequency. Notice when youâre in a good mood and then you realized you donât have your wallet with you and you feel your mood drop? Lower frequency. But even if this is true, I donât feel that mood drops wonât happen âșïž I just think there will be a heck of a lot more opportunities to lift moods and the constant state of fear wonât happen. I know, pipe dream, right? But I donât doubt my intuition. Others can and thatâs fine. UHHH.....It already is more aggressive than the flu. I think your inside needs to be re-read.
