At first I thought I accidentally clicked on My Sisterwife's Closet website. heehee I kid, I kid.... More like My Sisterwife's Pharmacy. That dress is the most effective form of birth control I have ever seen.

I'd be at the Red Cross one when they opened the doors. Sounds like the other group isn't really that invested, and it's time to join a new group anyway. Rock the new crop with snacks in tow.

It looks really light, compared to their past kits. I can pass this one up pretty easily.

One thing I forgot to add to my post above is regarding cardstock. A lot of how they blend is what cardstock you are using. They blend so much easier on the Crafter's Companion cardstock, Bristol smooth, or even the Simon Says Stamp white. I didn't find that they blended well on Neenah at all. This information may not make you anyone want to go out and buy the markers, but if you already have them on the shelf, it's worth trying to use them on one of those cardstocks before you give up.

I'll be the lone ranger and say that I love my Spectrum Noir markers. The colors that are supposed to blend aren't always the best combination, though. When I was learning and practicing with them, I would go to Pinterest or pull google images on color blends for them. By doing that, I found combinations that blend together really well. As for the brush nibs, I do have several Copic and I can't seem to get tiny detail with them as well without making a mess. Most other people love their Copics, but they just weren't right for me.

Tracie is touting it as a weekend with one day out in the town, one day making stuff and one day nature exploring. Since when does hiking across the Cracker Barrel parking lot qualify as exploring nature?

I don't even want the kit anymore. So disappointed!!! Reading the blog, I"m not the only one. They still haven't even bothered to bill my kit. I was thrilled with it on reveal day, but at this point I don't even want it anymore either.

I have lived my entire life without any of those tools and never missed them. Last night I was matting a photo and got it wrong twice. Now the layers rulers are on my list.

I am wondering how long it took after the story hit the news for Amazon to sell out of 27 gallon storage containers.

Which is why I find it so interesting that some YouTubers vehemently using the MISTI. Quite honestly, and I've said it in another post, I really wonder if they have signed a contract with My Sweet Petunia. If they have, hopefully it has an end date. The really bizarre thing is that a lot of these people are doing the YT videos for places that sell the other stamp positioners! It's so weird to me that in a video for Simon Says Stamp you will see someone intentionally and openly ignoring a very popular tool such as the TH stamp platform, when SSS promotes Tim Holtz stuff regularly. The whole situation just smells fishy.

I've noticed that Kristina Werner hasn't been using the Misti lately either. I wonder what happened, because she used to use that thing all the time. Funny that you say this ~ she posted a video within the last several days where she specifically mentions using the MISTI and why she loves it. She talks about it quite a bit. It's the one with candy corn. I thought it was a bit odd. I have noticed that she, Jennifer McGuire, and a couple of others pimp the Misti pretty hard in a lot of their videos. Jennifer McGuire had a video a little while back where she pretty much stated that she wasn't even going to try another positioner. I felt it was really unprofessional of her, and just badly done. She totally lost my respect after that, and I had watched her for a long time.

I understand her concept, but with only one child still at home, my life is different and it's not necessary for me to do it that way. If I had three or four kids at home still, I might look at things differently. But for me, I scrap our lives here and now, as much or as little as I feel like doing. Whatever happens to the albums after I'm gone isn't up to me.

Maybe you could compromise by hosting your own Thanksgiving in the afternoon for yourself and your kids, and just make an appearance for an hour or so at your parents' gathering to see your dad and the others you would like to see there.

I need someone to set up a Go fund Me for a new Louis Vuitton purse. I think my life will be infinitely better if I own it and because I am that special you all need to donate to the fund. Realistically it’s *only* $2800 and to keep me in the lifestyle you all have afforded me I think you should all donate $10. I need someone to start a Go Fund Me for this of course and my PayPal is elannahwantslouis@gmail.com. I might also receive free surgery because I want liposuction done, too. Thank you. Let me know if that works for you! There's a few things on my wish list I'd like, too! Karen in Upstate SC Don't worry. If you are truly deserving, "God" will provide these things for you.

Not only that, but unless I am mistaken you can use the Silhouette machines with third-party software like Make the Cut.

Scrapbook.com is my favorite. The selection is good, they usually ship by the next day, and it's priority mail so I get it with a couple of days or so.

I always kind of thought it was a combination of their personal style and needing to use a lot of product for design team requirements. I think most of them are chosen because of work they showcase on a blog or social media, so the company can see examples of what to expect ahead of time.
A lot of people scrapbook for the art of it, rather than the memory keeping. There's nothing at all wrong with that. It's just not why I do it, so those layouts where I can't find the photo don't appeal to me.
Design team members are absolutely there to sell a product. It's like seeing a mannequin in a store window, wearing the entire outfit with all the jewelry and accessories. I might buy the pants or the top or the scarf or jewelry, but I'm probably not going to buy the whole display. Even if I do, I'm probably not going to be wearing it all at once. But where I might leave home in a pair of jeans, nice top, and one bracelet, I'm always going to see someone else out there who is put together from head to toe, coordinated down to her earrings.

My "I don't get it" is more of a style issue. I get a daily email from scrapbook.com with their 9 favorite layouts of the day. So many of them I feel I have to hunt in the layout to find the photo! There is way too much going on. That's exactly how I feel! I don't want to have to hunt the photo. I know not everyone scrapbooks for memory keeping, but shouldn't photos at least factor into the layout? I want to make layouts that emphasize pictures, not product. Show me examples of that, and you might sell me something.

I have not found the need for it when I use the clear side.....I thought that modification was done so the need for foam was eliminated... I use foam when stamping with clear stamps even when I use an acrylic block. It just seems to give me a better impression, especially with new or less expensive stamps.

Here's the caption from her photo: Yeah. How dare she. Maybe when people stop being offended by every single thing that they can twist into a slight, the situation in the world will improve. Where we are right now as a society is very sad.

I miss the zillion posts. I miss the inspiration. I miss the hype around new product launches. I guess I just miss what scrapbooking "used to be". That is all. Just feeling sad tonight. I absolutely miss what it used to be too!!! So badly! I miss going into stores and seeing scrapbooking magazines. I also miss the fresh excitement and not being able to wait to get home from work and scrap a handful of freshly printed photos with the small selection of paper and embellishments I had managed to acquire.
