I thought Kushner's security clearance was revoked. Not completely sure, though. I can't imagine that he'd get a top secret clearance. That would keep him out of that position any way.

Amy Coney Barrett was supposedly on Trump's short list. I know that Chuck Schumer said she would be the vote that would overturn Roe vs Wade. She is apparently very religious. The idea of another female Justice sounds great, but I'm not so sure she would've been any better.

Well, I was making a statement about how it looks through my eyes. There's a reason the term Trump Derangement Syndrome was coined. I hate Hillary Clinton with a passion but I would not have needed to up my meds or bawled my eyes out if she won. And yeah, yeah, because you think there would be no reason to. Hey, if the upped dosage gets you through the day, more power to you. Our lives are different. What matters in my life might not matter in yours. I might have more to lose than you. tara this is the perfect statement. It can be easy to lose sight of the fact that we all live different lives and have different needs. Remembering that(at least for myself) is a good reality check.

I really like it. There's something about it that's similar to This Is Us-which I love.

I have 2 daughters in their early twenties. I'm not obsessed with their safety, but I would say it's a thought that's there more often than not. Every time they go out, I'll remind them to be aware of their surroundings, never put their drink down if at a party, etc., even though they are responsible. It's a scary world for women.

There is a report today that I saw online on CNN (sorry, I don't know how to link) that says Beto wrote a review in his college newspaper about their school musical. Apparently he wrote that the only qualities of the actresses were their large breasts and tight asses. Hopefully it's not true, although I don't think it should be a big deal because it was so long ago. Ugh! Hope it doesn't become an issue. He seems like such a great candidate.

First, I want to say I voted for Clinton. I despise Trump and cannot believe he actually became president. I was born and raised in the US. Trump has been an embarrassment to this country. I'd like to see him impeached. That said, I love this country and despite Trump being president, there is a lot of good here. There are wonderful, caring people. Lots of great opportunities. But to be honest, to read the posts by sassyangel and missfrenchjessica, it really bothers me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and thoughts, I know. But there's something about non citizens being here in this country and reaping benefits ( I assume there is some benefit to them being here, or they wouldn't stay) all the while saying how they wouldn't seek citizenship right now. Sassy angel said it's her way of protesting. I say, if you want to protest, why would you stay? I'd never say the US is the best country. We certainly have our flaws. But there is a lot of good in this country. Don't come here to reap the benefits. and then bad mouth it in the process.

The parents of DD's best friend are Haitian immigrants. I feel heartsick for them that they had to hear this.
When is enough enough.

Sometimes it's nice to show appreciation for people who do a good job. Do you tip servers/hairdressers, etc, for "just doing their jobs"? Apples and oranges comparison. In no way do postal workers expect you to tip them, nor is it commonplace. Servers make a pittance, and tips are part of their wages. I tip them at 20%, since you asked. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Ok, so I have to agree that comparing servers to postal workers is apples to oranges. That said, I don't consider giving my mail guy a gift at the end of the year a tip. And he certainly doesn't expect it. But after 40 years on the job, he's incredibly pleasant and hard working. I like to let him know that I appreciate that. I think most of our neighbors also give him a gift during the holidays. As far as your comment to mom, it came off as very sarcastic. If that's the way you give an opinion, why do you add the snark?

Well, yes. It is unnecessary. But the point is to be nice, and thank them for their hard work. SaveSaveIt's wonderful you have so much extra money that you can afford to gift people for just doing their jobs. Wish I had that kind of money. Sometimes it's nice to show appreciation for people who do a good job. Do you tip servers/hairdressers, etc, for "just doing their jobs"?

I feel the same disgust about living in California. Nobody here represents me, nor my family, nor our beliefs. Nancy Pelosi is a joke, and Jerry Brown is an embarrassment to any thinking person. Dianne Feinstine is a "little" better, but her and her husband got RICH on the backs of the taxpayer. If you feel that strongly then pack your bags and leave. What a bitchy thing to say. There are manyof us here who are no fans of Trump-and from reading a lot here, I know that you are also not a Trump supporter. What if every time you mentioned how Trump doesn't represent you, someone tells you that you should just pack up and leave? It doesn't feel so good when you're voicing your opinion and someone hits you with a "just leave ". Maybe @donnie can't just pick up and leave. Wth

I really like the color scheme and most of the papers that don't have the people on them. The llamas are cute. I'll probably pick up some of the papers. Thanks, nicolep for always keeping us updated!

Once I heard Theresa talking about being friends again with Danielle I turned it off. NJ was the last Houswives show I was holding out hope for and now I'm done. Theresa killed NJ. Phaedra killed ATL. Danit killed BH. Shannon killed OC. Bethenny killed NY. I never watched Dallas or Melbourne. My feelings exactly!
