For profit medical industry can be so cruel. I'm no financial expert, but I don't understand why the government can offer banks financial bailouts, and the auto industry too I think, but can allow hospitals to close and create hospital deserts. This is just a thought, I have no facts about it, but are these hospitals closing due to a lack of doctors and nurses? Obviously, there is more need for medical professionals in higher populated areas.

That’s in addition to all the other logical arguments about having to do something with your body that you don’t want to do. Add, what happens when his daughter, 14, comes to him pregnant? an OOops or rape! Statutory rape was something I was wondering about with this guy. I was listening to the radio today and something was said about this case. The girl's parents are apparently very upset about the lawsuit. She was 16 when she got pregnant. Could statutory rape charges be brought against him?

I can't seem to get the quote button to work smasonnc The world is much larger than China and Asia and in no way can be referred to as " in a large part of the world"whilst I agree that China does have a pollution problem they are in fact actively addressing the problem. Unlike the US administration at the moment, who have withdrawn from the Paris Agreement( that even China is part of), actively promote the use of fossil fuel and who thinks the scientific evidence is a load of baloney and their plan to reverse the Clean Power Plan ( unless they have done so already). There's little wonder that the rest of the world isn't co-operating with their actions. You do realise that oceans don't have walls don't you? The trash you gather in one country isn't necessarily created by that country. It could very well be someone else's trash and very often is. Check out the reports of what is happening in Chester Pennsylvania regarding the disposal of plastic waste since China has put in place a ban on accepting/importing your plastic and contaminated waste. LINKSo "Plastic waste, hazardous waste disposal and other environmental issues are not a priority because so many countries are just at subsistence level" what is the excuse of one of the richest countries in the world? China has banned the import of plastics and contaminated waste from the U.K. and other countries as well. It's obviously a huge problem-other countries, like Turkey for example, are importing it, but it will catch up with them eventually. Incinerating it is a whole other issue, as shown in the article you linked. Certain states here have been able to ban certain plastics, hopefully we can keep that trend going.

If it's a significant injury and he will be out for a while/have a lot of medical bills, I would talk to a lawyer.

I just saw on Heidi Swapp's Facebook page that the foil for the Quill is thicker and heat activated. I was hoping it would be interchangeable with the Minc.

In just 6ish days we will begin DST. I have been looking forward to this since the first weekend in November. I do love the extra daylight at the end of the day, but this year even more I will be looking forward to two little pups begging for dinner closer to their actual feeding time. I know not everyone is a fan of DST, but if you are, what is your favorite part of having more daylight at the end of the day? I'm with you! I start counting down the days the minute we fall back in November. I could live where it's light 24/7.

I also bought the new Foil Quill Starter Kit! I couldn't resist. I have bee thinking about getting a Minc for awhile but couldn't pull the trigger on another large tool. This is a great solution and the price is really good, too. I bought it also. Can't beat the price!

I want to see Trump’s grades and SAT, scores!! Trump’s father donated a shit load of money to penn state so trump could graduate. And old boss was one of his dorm mates. He said trump was as dumb as a box of rocks. Trump went to the University of Pennsylvania, not Penn State. Penn State is my alma mater- want to make sure he is not associated with it😃

Now, I understand what she is doing. We all just need to face the cold hard facts Becky is not about Project Life, Dresses, Notebooks, etc.... anymore. She's about CULTivating her church. Have any of you ever gone over to Celebitchy and read about the Scientology horror stories from the posts over there. It's effing terrifying. It reminds me exactly what Becky is doing. If anybody ever starts an investigation on the Mormon church for their abuse practices, especially sexual abuse I want in. I want to tell the story of what happened to my beautiful brother and sister because of this church. They can't speak for themselves any more since they both died at very young ages caused by the abuse. I want to share their stories. I do hope this church is exposed someday. amayalylac, I'm so sorry about your brother and sister. So tragic. I applaud you for wanting to share their stories.

I am almost speechless that she continues to do this. Almost. Scrolling through the comments this time though there are a LOT of people who are sick of it as well. "What do you, our customers, think that we, as a company, are about?" It is NOT the responsibility of the customers to tell the COMPANY what their mission is. Any "real" company spends THEIR time and money to figure out 'what do our customers want from us' and then develops their OWN mission and vision to meet those goals-- and then develops the products that customers WANT TO BUY. (that's kinda the definition of a company, isn't it? An entity that sees a need for a product or service and then comes up with a solution that meets the need?) REAL companies do NOT ask their customers to tell them what the company is about. Agreed. Becky asking that question sums up the whole problem. In one sentence, her company right now is f!cked.

He's not using universal healthcare (what he disagrees with) he's using private healthcare, which he very much agrees with. No hypocrisy. Are you a Kentuckian represented by Rand Paul? He saying there is no good healthcare choice for him in Kentucky for what sounds to be a routine hernia operation. He does not advocate for better healthcare for all Kentuckians, so YES, HE IS A HYPOCRITE! As a U.S. citizen, he is saying there is no good healthcare choice for him in the U.S. He does not advocate for better healthcare for all Americans, so YES, HE IS A HYPOCRITE! He is taking American dollars out of the country for his healthcare...HYPOCRITE. I would agree with you if he was getting all of his medical care in Canada or other foreign countries, but he is choosing to have 1 procedure done in a private, for-profit hospital in Canada. Done by a very skilled surgeon who does not use mesh-which is not the norm here in the US. I don't think that is saying that there is no good medical care in the US. I've had 2 hernia surgeries done (both with mesh), and if I could go get them redone without it, I'd go anywhere to do it. I wouldn't call the procedure he is having routine-at least, a non mesh hernia repair is not routine here.

McCaskill stated while addressing the newly elected Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, "But I hope she also realizes that the parts of the country that are rejecting the Democratic Party, like a whole lot of white working class voters, need to hear about how their work is going to be respected, and the dignity of their jobs" I guess she forgets that Ocasio-Cortez was working as a bartender .. She was working as a bartender, but she has a degree from Boston University.

I just did a huge purchase last week of 12 candles when they were half off plus I had the 20% off whole purchase. So I was going to resist buying anything this sale. Buuuut. I really wanted that stupid French Baquette candle. I just have to know what that smells like!! It’s already sold out online. I’ll run by one of the stores to see if they have it later. I was looking for the French Baguette candle as well, but didn't have luck. It has great reviews. Hopefully they will bring it back!

I refuse to mock other people's religion/personal choices, but hope Becky Higgins consults with a business expert(s) & creates a viable plan during her screen break. Another company producing useable scrapbook supplies is always welcome. I agree with you. I don't have it in me to mock anyone's religion. Live and let live.

I thought Kushner's security clearance was revoked. Not completely sure, though. I can't imagine that he'd get a top secret clearance. That would keep him out of that position any way. That’s been reinstated. But Jared isn’t going to replace Haley. For one thing, he will need to speak. Have you ever heard him speak? Oh okay. I didn't realize that. I've never heard him speak.
