Mine is up in a clip most of the time because I am always hot. Most definitely when I am cooking. I also check my clothing, because I shed so much, that I often have stray hairs on my clothes, and they have a tendency to end up in the food.

Why does everything have to be "fair"? How is it harming you OP *not* to know this information? Why do you feel that it takes something away from you if you don't know this information? Why do you *need* to know who she is? (besides feeling left out, or something...)
My thoughts exactly. There are TONS of things talked about or known by peas on this board that I don't know about. That's the nature of a message board. Do you feel this same need on other message boards you may frequent? Do you demand to know exactly who the administrators there are because someone else on the board MIGHT know?

I read on another thread, I think the one asking for roll call of people that are going to stay on this site, that he sent someone a nasty email. I don't remember who posted that, though. I haven't read all the replies yet, so not sure if someone already mentioned it, but he posted on that thread, when someone asked about this site running out of space, saying that proboards is unlimited. I was surprised to see him there but no one responded to him.

I love him! Seriously he is my favorite comedian. The only one I like as much is Bill Cosby.

We get Kentucky Fried Chicken with the sides and an apple pie this year because I do not feel like grilling in 100 degree weather! My dd works at KFC, so hopefully we'll get the good stuff. Extra crispy for me!

Makes perfect sense, getting quilting and sewing inspiration from a group of people on a scrapbooking site, when there's no time for sbooking with all the sewing going on. At least for me. I have: 1 quilt that just needs binding 2 quilts that need to go to the quilter 5 quilts that I'll quilt myself (mostly Christmas) a few aprons to make and another 8 quilts that are in some state of being worked on My goal for July is to get all the quilting done and maybe one top pieced. It'll be fun to see what everyone else is doing! Wow! I cannot even comprehend all the work that will take!

OK here is one of my smilies that I have saved
ETA: ok, it shows up when I put the code into my post, but I only get the black boxes on the smilies dropdown where you choose them.

May I join your group? I've always been pretty crafty, but I have never made a quilt, and I would like to. I've been saving old jeans forever to make a denim quilt; and my parents' 50th anniversary is in one year and I thought about making a quilt for them. Do think that would be impossible for a newbie, to finish a quilt in a year? I would do the majority on the machine rather than by hand. I'm at a loss as to where to start, should I just do squares, or is there an easy quilt pattern someone can recommend? Their bed is king sized, I'm scared of the hugeness!
I just finished a scrapbook for my daughter's mission and it takes up 2 albums, it was fun, but I'm glad it's done and I'm ready to move on to something different.

Ooops! I'm supposed to clean that? How do you get the rubber flaps out? I do NOT want to stick my hand down in there. I've always been afraid of that thing turning on by itself!

Make room for me on this bench! Holy Toledo do I sweat! Sometimes I sweat so much the sheets get wet and I have to lay a towel down to sleep on. I don't think my DH would be too keen on me booting him out of bed so I could change the sheets. I have it bad on my hairline too. I was canning cherries yesterday, and just a short while in the kitchen and I had sweat running down face and neck...I should say pouring!

I have followed all the directions for getting personal smilies to work, but when I am posting and want to insert a smilie I just get 25 little black boxes with x's in them instead of my personal smilies. The proboards smilies are there. This is what I have done, maybe someone can tell if I did a step wrong?
1. copied smilies and saved to my desktop 2. uploaded smilies to tinypic 3. copied code that starts with [IMG 4. pasted the code into my personal smilies here in settings 5. saved in both spots necessary to save them
I know about the click/drag thing, but my smilies aren't even showing up, just those pesky black x boxes.

I wonder if that back door link will continue to work after two peas shuts down for good. If not, I better get to copying and pasting!
eta: actually I can't do the copy/paste thing per their terms of use, so lets hope that the info will remain there! if by back door link you mean via the wayback machine - then yes, it should continue to work because it's an internet archive and doesn't rely on the site in question still being active. I use it all the time to access stuff from closed sites (like geocities for instance - remember those?) Awesome! I will look forward to using it often!

I know I can't be the only one who remembers it-I spent so many hours poring over quotes, title ideas, etc...What ever happened to it? Anyone know? I remember it! I used it quite often. In fact, I was just asking about it at 2peas about a month or two ago. I had asked about it previous to that even...years ago, but it never was working.

Could a cackling hen please drop some crumbs? I need a snack. This board feels just right to me. I wouldn't consider going to that other site. My radar was going off too. I think the official "cackling hen snack" should be popcorn!

I've got the signature figured out, but I can't see where people are adding their little slogans under their avatars. Anyone know? Thanks!

Wow, and here I was feeling guilty every time I ate one. I have truly found my people!! In the toaster oven on the rack until browned on the edges and bottom. Love the crispy crust!

I went to scrapbook.com forums to see if they knew about it, they did and pm'd me the website. It took several days to get my activation code though.
