I recently received the Fitbit flex and it's been great! It's really helped me to get moving and be mindful of my activity level. It's fine for me, love the instant updates on the app. I love to walk too and I'm meeting the 10,000 steps almost every day, and enjoying it too.

Knit.pea - no alcohol sounds like a great plan! One less thing to think about. Your menu sounds great! I can't believe he's graduating next year!

My father in law is 89 and under hospice care now, but not at end of life care, but palliative care. What a blessing and a relief. He was constantly going to the doctor until he had a pretty significant stroke in December followed by 5 weeks in the hospital and rehab. He was home for one day in pretty good shape then came down with the flu and he had to go back to the hospital followed by rehab again, this time for a little over 3 months.
The services he receives are wonderful. He's bedridden now but he's home with his wife of 65 years and happy to be home. Whatever he needs, it's there. We know that he's at the end of life, given his age, but with many more medical problems we are so grateful for hospice care.

Within 6 hours I can see the Pacific Ocean, Lake Tahoe, the redwood trees and the desert, the coastal area covering Monterey, Carmel, Santa Barbara, and so much more, Yosemite, the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco...it's really such a beautiful area. I live just north of San Francisco.

When I was going through chemotherapy my insurance company wanted to pay for only half of the treatments. We were under enough stress as it was! We appealed, they denied. My oncologist wrote them a scathing letter, they agreed to pay for it all!

My 24 year old son has ADD and it's been such a challenge. He's married and has two little boys and is going through counseling now to how to deal with the impulsive choices he makes. He took meds in high school and I wish he would continue to do so, made such a difference.

I was waiting for the McDonalds commercial because I wanted to see the little girl who has Down syndrome in it, if you blinked you missed it but so fun! Those kinds of things mean so much to me, we have a son with Down syndrome so it's grea to see this.
Loved the Budweiser commercial too!

Many many prayers for your husband and your family now.
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you. when you walk through fire you shall not be burned and the flame will not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." Isaiah 43:1-3
