If you count the cups on the tables in BP’s videos it looks like they had around 60-70 places set up. Not bad for an expensive weekday event.
Scrapbook Generation sold 300 seats to their SCRAPBOOKING weekend event in 3 minutes this year. So....scrapbooking isn’t dead. If BH still scrapbooked, maybe she’d get a large crowd too.

Have you been drunk recently? 😬
I ask because my friend just received a 5lb bag of gummy bears from Amazon and couldn’t figure out who sent them. Turns out she ordered them when she was drunk as a valentines gift for her husband. LOL

You can still donate to schools without having your own kids in them. Nursing homes, hospitals, Goodwill, etc.

Not a fan of the cremation joke as I’m sitting next to my daughters ashes now. If I didn’t know this life, maybe I’d find it funny.

I can't believe how much that area has grown! Every time I go back it's like a different city! I used to live off of 72nd and near Antioch Rd. I guess near where Hy-Vee is at. (None of that was there when I lived there.) Just a four way stop (maybe a light?) Lol.. And for Metro North to be gone? Another weird thing. My best friend lives near Zona Rosa.. now that is a neat place... My house was in a neighborhood right off of Prospect (which turns into Antioch). Super close to Hyvee (although it was built after I moved away). We were so close! Also—have you seen this video of Metro North? It’s soooooo creepy. I worked at that mall (at the Jones Store) from the time I turned 16 through college...so I spent a lot of time there! Yes, I’ve seen that video and it makes me so sad. I worked at Cone-a-Copia there from age 13-16 and then went and did 15 years at kinko’s in Gladstone and Mission. It’s all gone now. Torn down to make way for other things that are taking forever to build. No more Metro North. And Zona Rosa is struggling. I hate outdoor malls. We don’t live in an outdoor mall climate.

I should go take a look at it in person and take pictures for here. I don’t want to waste my realtors time though. Or mine!

Did you go to Winnetonka? My husband did. That house is close to my MIL’s house and about 20 minutes from where we live. We live in the Northland in Nashua. Kids go to Staley and New Mark. I went to Oak Park.

I have a friend that lives across from our neighborhood basketball court and play park. The constant bouncing of the balls and the vibration it causes drives her nuts. I could see how as when my kids are playing basketball in my own driveway and I’m trying to nap, it’s too much.

@triplemom you wear yours and after these years yours should be covered........ I just don't know how that would happen with the numbers who do not wear the ones they have. I’m not really sure what you’re saying, sorry. if it’s that mine should be covered, they are not. Not one penny. I know yours are not covered, but my thought was that you have worn yours for all these years. You have not done what many older people have done, you WEAR yours. There should be a way to cover some or all costs for those who actually wear their hearing aids! Thank you! I agree. I wear them every day, all day until I go to bed or lay down to watch tv. Can’t lay on a hearing aid. It screeches.

I got hearing aids when I was 34. I still have the same ones, I’m 41, and they need to be updated badly, but insurance doesn’t cover them and there’s no thousands of dollars laying around. I find it ridiculous that insurance doesn’t cover such a necessity. It’s really awful not being able to hear properly. @triplemom you wear yours and after these years yours should be covered........ I didn’t read all of the replies so forgive me if I’m saying what other people are saying. First, my heart hurts for you. Second, it’s time to go. He has shown what an awful, hateful person he is. You aren’t helping your kids at all, rather you’re showing them what an unhealthy relationship is and they’re going to think it’s normal and the cycle will repeat.

I had triplets and baby b and c’s charges in the NICU were denied. When I called to ask why I was told that one mother couldn’t have three babies on the same day, and there was no such thing as triplets. WTF! I laughed so hard and told the woman on the phone that that was the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. I also told her to fix it immediately before I called every major news station. I was put on hold and a manager came on and said that it would be fixed right away. The major idiocy still makes me laugh.

Unless I was given horrible names from my parents, I can’t imagine changing them. I would be really upset if my kids changed their names.
When my sister and I married our spouses, we added our maiden name as a second middle name. Our maiden name is important to us and we were the last in our family to have it since my dad had us two girls and no boys to continue carrying it. When our sons were born we each gave our maiden name as their middle name.
When my sister divorced her first husband she went back to her full given name. Dropped assholes surname. When she remarried, she added her maiden name once again as her middle name and dropped her given middle name. I was so angry at her for doing that as each of our children have all or part of their name as a family name. Emma’s middle name is Nicole for her aunt. Now aunt doesn’t have Nicole as her middle anymore and it really bugs me. My sister is regretful of doing that now, but she hasn’t changed it back so not regretful enough in my eyes.

We specifically named our triplets names so they wouldn’t be shorted to nicknames. Our 4th child’s name could be shortened, but we forbid it as a baby, and what it could be shortened to she would hate.
Jack, Alayna, Emma and Amanda.
Of course we have nicknames for them, but they don’t use them as their names.
Jack = Scuba Steve (NICU time with a lot of face gear), Jack Man!(sung to the Batman song)
Alayna = Alayna Bayna, Alayna Rotten (she went through a three year turd faze and her middle name is Robin)
Emma = Emma Doll, Emma Bemma, Emma Nickle Pickle (middle name Nicole) and Em
Amanda = Panda (How she said her name as a toddler)

What's wrong with their shipping? Too much or too long? My item is being delivered today. I thought that was fast shipping since I ordered on the 16th.

I got a $5 coupon in the mail. A lot of scrappy friends are getting emails with $10 gift cards from them. One shared it with me, so I used both and got $15 off. Yeehaw!!

We had our daughter Alayna’s Celebration of Life followed by the receiving line with catered food. We had so many people come that the fire marshals blocked entrance to hundreds of people, unknown to us at the time. And I can’t tell you who all was there. I was heavily medicated. Not everyone got to sign the book because the line was so long. If someone told me they were there, I’d believe them.
