I voted Jam because I prefer that over jelly, but when I buy the grape stuff for my boys' PB&Js I buy preserves.

We had a pre-lit that fit perfectly into the space we had available so when the stupid lights went out a few years later we cut off the lights so we could keep using it. We finally replaced that one a couple of years ago with a slightly bigger one and I insisted on unlit. It's not a huge tree so it's not that hard to do the lights (especially now that DS is approaching 6 feet tall!

I was on a huge airplane headed for Europe with DH and a bunch of our old marching band friends. The plane was so big I remembered thinking I could run laps if I was still in shape, but it was also dark like a movie theater (no windows and the walls were all black). At one point I freaked out because I realized we had forgotten to pack all of our toiletries and our son's ADHD medication...but I'm not sure he was even with us!

I would have voted "other" if available because I'm not opposed to the flu shot, but I don't get around to getting it every year. Thankfully I've never had the flu (knock on wood...).

Not sure what to think about the foundation pages--hard to imagine where she's putting pictures for about half of the days. Luckily I don't rely on her foundation pages like a lot of the fan girls seem to. My brain doesn't work that way, I can't make a page until I know what photo(s) I'm working with. That said, I'm thinking I might sign up for the online event just for some ideas/background noise/downloads since I don't have anything on my calendar that day.

Our area does TOT on the 30th and call it Beggar's Night (because years ago on Halloween some hooligans did some shenanigans and wreaked havoc...oh my!) Thankfully my youngest decided to be done and stay home to hand out candy because it was cold tonight--it snowed most of the afternoon, but it didn't stick at all.
As much as I don't like it being on the 30th, I don't want it moved to a set day. Fridays and Saturdays are for football.

I work by color if I don't have a specific theme. I recently broke apart several of my shrinking collection kits and combined them with my Studio Calico paper. Everything is arranged by color with multicolor patterns arranged by pattern type (stripes, dots, a few themes such as weather, travel, food, etc.) As I use up other collection kits I'll put the papers in that stash.
My papers are stored vertically in a box/bag/crate thing I found at my grocery store. It sits right next to me at home, but also easily travels (just need to cover with a plastic bag if there's any chance of wet weather.) The rest of my papers are divided among 12x12 bags by themes and stored in a plastic file folder container (either Cropper Hopper or Iris...can't remember and can't see right now).

I am! I'm trying to get my last soccer LOs done so I can put my soccer stuff away before (hopefully) going to a scrapbooking retreat next weekend.

Bending over with hands on knees (even if there is no reason because the group behind is tall enough)...yes, hate that pose and wonder what they are going to think some day! It's weird to see when it's a group of girls in multiple rows, but whenever I see it with girls in front of a row of guys I just cringe.

Good luck!
Both of my boys loved their binkies. We took our oldest's away shortly after he turned 2 and he was ok with it...he also stopped napping on a regular schedule...while I was early in my second pregnancy when my worst symptom was being extremely tired most of the day! Needless to say, our youngest got to keep his binkie until I was ok with him not napping anymore, some time after he turned 3. Both only got to use them in their cribs after a certain age, probably around 18 months.

I like the kit, but agree that the add-ons are too pricey. The plastic leaves would be a nice change from the typical die cut leaves and I like the shimmer on the asterisks, but not at what they are charging. I'm excited about the "love watching you play" stamp, I'll use that more than anything from the Play stamp set.

Can't imagine paying that much! Admission is $6 for everyone at our high school football games (students don't get a discount, but I think kids under 3 might be free?) We bought a pass through the booster club that gets one of us into home games for free--I use it for football and will use it for most of the baseball games, DH will use it for basketball games.
We definitely don't have to worry about football games selling out as we never have a very good team...but that's a different story involving our small high school playing against schools with triple the enrollment and tons more money for facilities...

We are 3-3.5 hours from both of my parents and 4.5 from DH's parents which is ok most of the time. Siblings are anywhere from 2 hours to 12 hours away (thankfully the 12 hour ones travel to the rest of us!) It would be nicer to have some of them closer, especially when our boys were younger, but we survived just fine. Too far for me would be if the drive took longer than a decent yet short visit or if flying was required.

How much depends on the day. I get cash out monthly for groceries, fun money for DH & I, and to save a little each month for non-monthly bills. I get paid in cash by one employer and don't always get it deposited. Some times I will keep a large amount in a hidden place so I have it on hand or if I'm saving for something (and don't feel like putting it in the savings account), but right now that stash is pretty small.

It showed up for me, but I have been having issues with "My Stuff" updating correctly all week long (doesn't show that I've watched a show and doesn't rearrange shows as I watch them...really hard to keep track of where I'm at on the old shows that I'm slowly watching.)

My DD order is still showing as Active too. I shouldn't really care because I don't do any sort of pre-planning of my pages, but it just isn't fun being one of the last to ship (especially when people are already receiving theirs!)

Often I would forget to grab the small wedge of Maytag Blue Cheese out of my cart because it was a shiny gray like the cart, usually the person bagging my groceries would have to point it out to me. Would happily have that happen time after time instead of the one time I forgot to take it out of my reusable bags...poor bagger who found that wedge a week later...

This has been an interesting story to follow here in central Iowa. It was the one good thing coming out of the Iowa-ISU game, especially after the reports of the Iowa marching band being assaulted, harassed, etc. on their way out of the stadium (that's been a different sort of interesting story to follow, especially as a former college band member). But when the DMR decided to add that little tidbit to the end of the article about his old tweets (and then ask AB for a comment about them before the story ever broke...that way they could deny that they "informed" AB about the tweets...) it turned ugly.
The DMR still refuses to apologize The reporter did try to apologize, but ended up trying to make himself the victim and then tried to blame it on right-wing ideologies. Sorry buddy, you managed to upset every kind of person in Iowa--Cyclones, Hawkeyes, Liberals, Conservatives, old, young, males, females, etc.

We try to repair--so far we've been lucky in that our fridge & dryer were easy cheap fixes. Our stove would have been fixable except that the part for the motherboard (or the whole motherboard itself) was no longer available so we had to get a new stove. Our washer & dryer are going on 20 years and we'll try to fix before replacing because the guy that fixed the dryer told us they are workhorses that last a long time (and would happily buy them from us if we ever decide to replace them!) What kind of washer/dryer do you have? I swear in the last 25 years we have replaced our washer at least 3 times and the dryer twice. Old school Kenmores with knobs & buttons--nothing fancy or electronic.

We lost our Sears stores last year. Now we would start looking first at Nebraska Furniture Mart, then either Lowes or Home Depot.

My vent (that I thought of the other day while out & about too) is slow closing doors for single use restrooms...I'm dancing around, trying not to pee my pants while waiting for the stupid door to slowly and safely close so I can lock it! Honestly, half the time I don't lock the door on a stall until I'm already seated and peeing if I have to go badly enough!

I wasn't necessarily bored, but I just couldn't figure out who these people were and where the overall story was going...but I knew I had to stick with the episode because there would be a payoff in the end. That ending song was perfect for the scenes as they were shown. FYI--Tess is shown in the montage during the song, as Beth is taking the birthday cake from the counter to the table you can see Randall and all 3 girls around the table (but the next part with them only has the view with 2 of the girls).
I think the vet is more likely the mother of Kevin's future kid, not Nicky's daughter.

I was interested in the combo deal with Hulu until I realized there was no option for the no commercial Hulu plan--won't ever have Hulu with commercials again. I might try it out once it's going, but not sure yet.

Our neighborhood's fall festival is this weekend. I had planned on going tonight because there's a car show that DH likes to go to, but I'm so tired from a busy day that I really don't feel like it (and it's still over 85* outside...) The plan was to watch the parade tomorrow morning with my youngest son while my oldest son marched with the marching band and DH walked with our Little League, but there are thunderstorms forecasted so the band has already cancelled and I really don't want to watch a parade in the rain...again. So who knows what we're doing this weekend...
