Thanks for your responses. I don't gravitate toward photorealistic, scene, heavily themed papers/embellishments, &/or the possibly of receiving glossy papers, so nothing is added to my wish list.

I exclusively scrapbook & must be satisfied with each step in the process before proceeding, so I'm always content with finished layouts & love that each documents another story about our (now college-aged) son.

Do you sell any of your creations---scrapbooking or other paper-crafting? And if so, do you sell on Etsy, FB Marketplace, local shows, your own website, other? No, I exclusively scrapbook with our (college-age) son as my primary subject...so nothing to sell.

My approach has always been story-focused with a simple/clean/linear/minimalist/"magazine-ish" style. I may incorporate trends that I like but certainly don't conform to them.

Flat, which is consistent with my style & preferences while maximizing space in albums. Slight dimension is sometimes added via memorabilia, a couple layers of hidden cardstock behind unmatted photos &/or diecut letters/titles, thin foam dots/squares, stenciling with glaze/paste, &/or enamel dots.

Do you do 1 or 2 page layouts? How many photos do you usually use on a layout? What size photos do you like to use the most? Layouts are typically single pages, except for events that require 2+ pages. I typically scrap 4x6 photos (usually straight out of the camera, sometimes trimmed to eliminate unwanted background or use 6x6 patterned papers as mats, & occasionally enlarged to 5x7 or 8x10). Each 12x12 layout may feature 0-3 (4x6) photos, although 1-2 are the norm, with various sizes/configuration of page protectors to hold any extra photos/memorabilia.

Yes. Our (now college-age) son is my primary scrap subject, & IMHO it's important to document challenges/setbacks & how he copes with/overcomes them.

I appreciate they have not used the same old over-used icons. ... I definitely agree with this! I love the variety of themes. ... Same; I also appreciate its niche in the industry.

... The "water color", isn't what I consider to be the look of water color. It's more patterned paper than water color. ... Agreed; Watercolor Forest is not what I expected.

... I like Vicki Boutin stencils sold by American Crafts b/c of their fun designs and easy ways to line them up. ... Plus, they are an incredible value at three (~6x8) stencils per pack for the same price (or less) than one stencil (of the same or smaller size) from other brands!

If you have switched or changed album style, size or brand, why did you do that and how did you make the transition? I've always used 12x12 albums & included page protectors of various sizes/configurations for extra photos/memorabilia. If you use Creative Memories albums, what makes you stick with them? Have you switched back and forth? I've never used any CM product.

For (left-brained) me, organizing may be the most fun aspect of the hobby! I'm a creatively-challenged, indecisive, & S-L-O-W scrapper, so I always "clean" as I go as a stall tactic for time to consider choices in the next step of my layout process which helps to keep my devoted craft room neat & organized.

So have any peas done this? Does this appeal to you? Have you redone layouts because they don't your current style? Have you redone layouts to fit your current album size? I'm not familiar with the person referenced, but have zero interest or need for this approach, especially since my scrapbooking style & size has not substantially changed.

Thanks for your responses. Nothing from this collection is a must have.
Teen Vibe - Carson: I like the color palette & multicolored stripe, multicolored polka dots, & neutral sports patterned paper. Teen Vibe - Caitlyn: Although uncertain whether the color palette is neon (given the different images for each paper), I like the grey sparkles on black pattern. Luna Puffy Alphabet Stickers: I'm the outlier who dislikes the style & mixed case of the font.

Consistent with the industry practice of repeating the same sentiments/icons/etc. throughout the collection, it's also found in the EP All About A Girl Ephemera (purple framed label). Oddly, it appears EP did not release a "boy" counterpart to the All About A Girl collection (June 2022).

I do like most alphabet stickers, the flat Bella Blvd "Letter Scramble", the foam Thickers, Simple Stories alphas. From the past, I loved OA alphas & the tiny LilyBee stickers. Thanks for asking PaperAngel . And maybe like melanell said, past experiences with puffies was disappointing. It just seems like that whatever makes them puffy might eventually degrade and be "messy". I echo your concerns & stopped buying letter stickers years ago due to lack of stickiness, an inadequate amount of my frequently-used vowels & consonants, not always labeled as acid-free/lignin-free/archival, price per pack (especially considering the above), etc.

So what are your favorite subjects to scrap? Your least favorite? Why? Our son is my primary scrap subject. Although not a theme scrapper, I enjoy scrapping sports & travel layouts &, like Linda, feel (self-imposed) pressure "to do something special" with busy photos from the same annual events, such as holidays, birthdays, etc.

What embellishment do you have too much of? Consistent with my style & preferences, I use/purchase few embellishments. Yet, as a theme-challenged scrapper, I still have too many themed embellishments.

... Love the alphabets but I wish they weren't "puffy". I don't know why I don't like "puffies". ... I can't get past my childhood experiences with puffy stickers. Whenever I see them I remember my sticker book pages lined with nothing but soft foam shapes left stuck to the page after the top layer with the image broke off and was lost forever. So I have yet to buy any puffy stickers for scrapbooking. ... No worries; everyone has different preferences. What type(s) of alpha stickers do you like (e.g. flat, foam, chipboard)?

... Amber Autumn - I need that mushroom paper and the deer paper. The overall collection, not so much, but that paper is fantastic. (I just saw someone criticize the deer paper- how dare you criticize my precious deer. All things are better with a deer on it. Put a deer on it!.) ...

Perhaps you're referring to Fancy Pants - Unique ( Cards & Tags Ephemera), one of the four collections in the first release for Fancy Pants Designs (spring 2023) under its new ownership. I think it may have been an Echo Park collection but interesting it is used here too. It appears in 2018 then-DT member Jana Eubanks titled an EP blog post " Happy Girls are the Prettiest!" but the featured collection, EP Imagine That - Girl, doesn't appear to actually include that phrase on its ephemera, sticker sheet, etc.

Well- I might need ALL the alpha stickers. Aren't they pretty? And lots of e's and 2's! ... And love the alphas... ... Luna Puffy Alphabet Stickers: Oh, I am definitely going to need these ... and I know 3 or 4 of these are going to end up in my collection. ... I am excited to see all of the "2"s- somebody is actually thinking. Good punctuation, too. And I love all of the little hearts ... I really like the alphas ... ... those puffy alpha stickers though? If I were rich, I would have the whole collection The Luna Puffy Alphas seem to be a hit!

I don't remember what scrapbook collection it was but it had something like "happy girls are the prettiest" and it reminded me of the "keep sweet" FLDS. Perhaps you're referring to Fancy Pants - Unique ( Cards & Tags Ephemera), one of the four collections in the first release for Fancy Pants Designs (spring 2023) under its new ownership.
