Are they packaged under titles such as Tropical, Earth, Summer?
I'm in Australia and saw some AC cardstock in our local craft store, Spotlight which had 60 sheets. I buy their 100 packs regularly and this cardstock looked just the same- good quality. I use it for die cutting and scrapbook pages all the time. The colours were lovely but I am trying to make my huge selection of cardstock go down so resisted the temptation to buy them! Corinne

I use CTMH metal label holders. They just slip onto the top of the spine. Are these like little book plates? I bought clip on book plates that slide onto the spine but am getting low and of course can't find them for sale any more from the stationery shop. I do know a CTMH consultant though so I shall check these out. I use a template in word for the size and use different colours for different albums eg Family - orange my grandsons albums in age level- blue Holidays- green Christmas red I even found a secret stash of cardstock the other day with a sticky note saying "do not use- album labels only!" ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Obviously I wanted to keep them perfectly colour co-ordinated back in the day when all my Bazzil was kept by name. lainey That is gorgeous! Nicely done, and I love the color choices too. I made the tail and crown for my Halloween costume last week. I decided to be Max from Where the Wild Things Are. I thought it would be easier to sit outside in a warm costume vs. trying to beat two dogs who are currently quicker than me to the door every time the bell rings! I bought the white PJs with feet and a hood from Amazon, and just had to successfully sew the tail and crown doing the foot pedal for the sewing machine with my left foot, LOL. I also decided to host a couple friends to come over and scrapbook a couple weekends from now. I already warned them that the house will be a mess but I’ll do what I can to clean up the scrap room for them before they come. I don’t think I’ve made a single page in over a year. Not sure what I’m going to work on but I have 11 days to figure it out! I cannot knit or crochet but I do love making my own Halloween/ Bookweek costumes! I made my Max costume from scratch ( onesie I bought was too tight!) added claws to the hand and feet bits and big fake buttons down the front. I made the crown from gold cardboard with fur and sewed on some fake fur for the tail. My favourite book and my favourite costume ever! If I knew how to post a photo I would! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I would love to see your finished costume. Corinne

I didn't even know this was a series! I have read all of John Douglas' books and Google tells me that in the series the character called 'Holden Ford' (hard to believe they couldn't come up with a better name than that!) is based on Douglas - so I'll definitely be checking this out...thanks The name Holden Ford was given by the writer of the series (whose name escapes me but is from Adelaide) and in an article I read in the weekend papers was for the cars now no longer produced in Australia. It is a wonderful series, so well written and produced. A bit slow but as it is based on fact (apparently) I wouldn't expect much else. It is really something that was binge worthy! We only started watching it last night - 3 episodes and then I just watched 2 tonight. We commented on the "Holden Ford" name- I work in the suburb where the Holden factory closed down just this past Friday. A real part of our community and a big deal for many of our families. How quirky to name a character after Holdens! Oh and I am loving the show- everything about it and yes I am know going to try and find some of the books to read. Corinne

I never had my tubes tied but underwent an ablation last November due to insanely heavy, unexpected, interfering with my daily life periods.
It was day surgery and I had taken the rest of the week off but was lucky to have very little pain. Slight discharge for a few weeks but since then - NO PERIODS whatsoever!
My workmate had it done before me and has a period every 2 months or so but nowhere near as bad as before.
I'm 54 and I wish I had it done 5 years ago.

Thank you! It was stormy here today so I spent the day on the couch snuggled up with a good book and my favourite cat. I'm on holidays so extra bonus. Then I went out with my family to a new restaurant with absolutely delicious food. Off to bed now- ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Corinne

I'm about to start this journey TOMORROW! I have always been addicted to regular coke but stopped drinking that earlier this year when tested for diabetes and my sugar levels were way too high. I changed to drinking Coke Zero instead. They are now normal, however I have noticed lately that I have an increase in headaches and general feelings of unwellness. I've been on holidays for the past 2 weeks and have been drinking a lot more than normal. We now have a "new" coke called No Sugar which I have been drinking. Headaches, a lot of nausea so I am wondering if it is the soft drink. I have tried to give up before but really need to this time- I hate feeling lethargic all the time. I don't drink coffee or tea so I will going to plain water. Wish me luck! Oh and I am 54- today ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) so I have also wondered if the coming of menopause might be adding to the problem. Corinne

My cat Celia was about 2/3 weeks old when she was abandoned and only weighed 230g. I kept her in a box with some furry ears (costume) from 11 in the morning till 5pm when I could get her to a vet.
We got some powdered feed designed for wildlife and fed her with a teat pipette every 3 or 4 hours. That said, we fed her at midnight and she didn't seem to wake until 6 am so no middle of the night feeds for us!
All our other rescue cats had mothers who had weaned them so it was a big surprise when the vet told me we would need to "toilet" her after feeding. (rubbing her tummy/genitals with a warm cloth until she went) She learnt to use a tray within a few weeks.
Celia is about to turn 7 and is very healthy. Good luck to this little kitten.

I always lay them out flat. Never buy them. I despise thigh meat and will be very judgy if I am served thighs. Very judgy. And if you made me a Thai curry or similar and had used breast instead of thigh, *I'd* be very judgy! ETA: I should add that I used to hate thigh as well. Well, I thought I did. Then when I started cooking a lot of Thai and Asian food I started using thigh and realised that I love it. Totally agree! We only use thigh fillets for all our curries, stirfries , apricot chicken, grilled chicken. The only time we use breast fillets is if they are special and my daughter slices them into schnitzels. Breast fillets just don't seem to absorb the flavour- I've eaten curries by other people who only use breast and they taste very bland. To answer the original question, we roll them out, then usually cut them into 2 pieces, cut slashes into them so our marinade/ curry paste can sink in and put them on the grill. Corinne

I suggest anything by Jo Nesbo-but in particular The Snowman-it's being made into a movie, can't wait!! I also like the alex delaware novels by Jonathan Kellerman, and the Harry Bosch novels by Michael Connelly I just started reading Jo Nesbo- finished The Bat last night. It was set in Australia and although reviews said it wasn't as good as later books, I always like to read the series from the beginning . I quite enjoyed it and thought MOST of the descriptions of Sydney were quite accurate. However, no way has there ever been a Great White shark at the Sydney aquarium!!! There is a salt water crocodile which could have easily been used in the story instead. I will be reading the next book very soon- need to get to the Snowman before I see the movie. Corinne

Oh my gosh, high school class of 1979 here. I love every one of these songs. Such great memories. Forgot to add: My best friend and I LOVED the song "Brandy"... my teetotaling mama hated when we sang it because "Its all about alcohol". We would laugh and try to tell her that it had nothing to do with booze, but mama was insistent..... I love many of these daggy old songs but Brandy is actually one still on my playlist- love it! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Another tragedy song not mentioned yet was Honey by Bobby Goldsboro - behold the classic lyrics See the tree, how big it's grown But friend, it hasn't been too long it wasn't big I laughed at her and she got mad The first day that she planted it, was just a twig Then the first snow came and she ran out To brush the snow away so it wouldn't die Came runnin' in all excited slipped and almost hurt herself And I laughed till I cried She was always young at heart Kinda dumb and kinda smart and I loved her so And I surprised her with a puppy Kept me up all Christmas Eve two years ago And it would sure embarrass her When I came in from workin' late 'cause I would know That she'd been sittin there an' cryin' Over some sad and silly late, late show And Honey, I miss you And I'm bein' good And I'd love to be with you If only I could She wrecked the car and she was sad And so afraid that I'd be mad, but what the heck Though I pretended hard to be Guess you could say she saw through me and hugged my neck I came home unexpectedly And caught her cryin' needlessly in the middle of the day And it was in the early spring When flowers bloom and robins sing, she went away And Honey, I miss you And I'm bein' good And I'd love to be with you If only I could One day while I was not at home While she was there and all alone the angels came Now all I have is memories of Honey And I wake up nights and call her name Now my life's an empty stage Where Honey lived, and Honey played and love grew up And a small cloud passes over head And cries down on the flower bed that Honey loved And see the tree, how big it's grown But friend, it hasn't been too long, it wasn't big And I laughed at her, she got mad The first day that she planted it, was just a twig Corinne

I am an atheist and although we got married by a celebrant in Fiji (very Christian place!) we specifically requested a non religious ceremony and included a lot of it ourselves. I wrote and spoke the eulogy at both my parent's funerals and was able to really connect to all the memories that made their lives special. I chose the celebrant for my mum's and she met with me and was very open to it being about mum and her life. Compared to my brother's sudden death aged 25- Mum and Dad were distraught so I was asked to write a few things down for the minister. It was quite a religious service complete with sermons and I really didn't feel that it was about him so much. My aunty recently died and her daughter organised her funeral- daughter became very religious after her marriage and my aunty' funeral was so religious and I felt sad and quite detached from her farewell. She did believe in God and had been brought up Catholic but the service was so general and was all about heaven etc. I think there would be a huge market for humanist celebrants - I think I will look for some here. How lovely for your children to support you achieve your dream. Best of luck. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Corinne

My cat Celia ( named so because she came from the ceiling!) was about 3 weeks old, weighed 230g when we discovered her. We fed her with a teat pipette.
I found her in our library roof so I put her in a plastic box with a furry costume mask which she curled up with and stopped crying. It had safety pins holding the ears in so I took it apart and she took to carrying the ear around at night, sucking on it and crying.
Celia is about to turn 7 and those 2 furry ears are always lying around our house somewhere. She oftenflicks them up in the air, then grabs them and puts them under her tummy. And yes, sometimes at night she still carries them around and cries.
Maybe your kitten needs something warm and reassuring - like a blanky or toy.

So sad to hear of your loss. We lost our dog after 10 years and it is so true. They are such an important part of our everyday lives. We have lost 5 of our cats during the last 18months also. They were all abandoned strays we took in and they were all aged between 13 and 15 when they died. I know we gave them wonderful lives but we still miss them. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/mYSUyHtG9Jrcmm_ydVcK.jpg) I love the name Cleveland, our little dog was called Conan. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Corinne

This is great news- she is such an inspiring role model for young women.
This week we were reading a text about Wangari Maathai, the first African women to be awarded the Nobel Peace prize in 2004 and how she was so passionate about changing life for women and "the girl child".
This led to talk about Malala and this week we will be speaking/reading about her. We have the novel "I am Malala" and a beautiful picture book called "Every day is Malala day" which explains her story very well to younger children. None of the students in my group had heard of her and were very interested in reading more about her story, so it will be timely to make another positive connection to her place in the world right now.

I vote for the dog, since one of mine turned on the electric burners on my glass cooktop once! At least the risqué tv show won't set the house on fire! Where I live a cat did this the other day. Luckily neighbours saw the fire and the house (and cat!) were saved. There was about $70.000 worth of damage though. Luckily my cats are too old and lazy to do this! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Corinne

I am so sorry for your loss. I understand how unexpected loss can be so hard to deal with. My aunty passed away last year under very similar circumstances. While she had been diagnosed with Altzheimers, she was very physically healthy and still lived by herself and managed her day to day life perfectly well. As we lived close to her and were the ones who spent most time with her, it was such a shock that she passed away so suddenly without warning. She had spent the day with a friend down the beach, went home, got into bed and passed away sometime later. Her daughter had rung the police as she couldn't contact her on the phone and when they rang me to say they had broken in and found her, I said "oh that's good". I had assumed she had been gardening or out (this had happened before when police were called) When they said she was deceased, it was so terribly shocking. As you say, we so expected her to have many years ahead, she was only 71. Condolences to your family. Corinne

I have started scrapbooking regularly again and am determined to use up lots of my old stuff! This weekend I used brads on 2 layouts- still love them. I used some tiny Prima flowers (from the bottle) and used stickles for the centers. I am working my way through my Silhouette library and making embellishments to match layouts. Also used some of my old Making Memories rub on letters - STILL GOOD! but sadly will soon be running out of vowels. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/mYSUyHtG9Jrcmm_ydVcK.jpg) I am thinking of photographing all the letters and then recreating the vowels with a good black pen- will update if this works. Recently I had several "irrationally irritated" moments with a truck at our local supermarket. I go early in the morning - around 7:30am on way to work. There are about 15 carparks right in front of main doors and 3 aisles of parking usually very empty. This guy chooses to park BEHIND the front carparks effectively blocking me out or on 2 occasions IN as I had arrived before him. Now I only had to wait 5 minutes each time but that is my time that he is wasting by his laziness not to park his truck lengthways down the aisle parking- 20 metres away. I chose not to approach him as I feel a little apprehensive about approaching big men I don't know! I wrote down the name of the business , emailed them and asked very nicely if he could park, not blocking me in. I mentioned I did have photos but didn't include them. I received an email back, very polite- did ask for photos, but I said I didn't want to get anyone in trouble, would just like the problem solved. And it was! He still parks there occasionally but always away from the front. All that to say, there are ways to solve problems without putting them all over social media. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) And I would continue to give good recommendations to your handyman- it's hard to get reliable, quality workers so I would not care about one person's opinion of a driving incident. Who knows whether it was HER in the wrong? Corinne

I love all of them! I am so glad you can now buy them in e-book format.
The first sketchbooks- I photocopied all of them and then re- sorted then into how many photos each sketch used. I then bound them into a new book and designed a simple cover that says 6 photos etc. I find this most useful to me- to be honest I rarely use little photos so the 11/12 photo sketches are not used at all. My favourites are the one sketch book and the 4 x 6 one as I tend to use this size a lot. The travel one has several options for each sketch- which I like as I often use big photos for my holiday albums.

My friend sells small succulent planters and does quite well. She makes planters out of concrete and spray painted dinosaur toys People pay way more than I thought they would for them, so I am sure some of it is area. I'm on my school fundraising team and we took cuttings from succulents, put them in pots from the cheap shop and Kmart ( bought a whole pile of little copper rimmed ones for $1- bargain!) and they sold like crazy. The older students snapped them up- we are going to sell them again next year. Ours was for a Mother's Day stall. I could not fathom leaving my pets behind, but they are members of my family. That said (like my thread on letting a boy live with us), if it is better for the CAT, then I would do what was necessary. Talk to the neighbor lady and see if she is willing to be the cat's new owner. Will your cat know where to go when you are gone is the question. What is the U.K. like in terms of outdoor cats?My impression is that cats are more likely to be outdoor than not here. I have only met one person who kept their cat indoors although they had built a caged outdoor area that the cat could access from the kitchen and sit in. We have a dog not a cat but quite a number of our neighbours have cats and they are all outdoor cats. As I walk around the village I'm see lots of cats, the cat from next door has taken to sitting near or under my car so I have to be sure she has moved before I set off. The white cat from down the road is finding the house extension site across the road to be a great place to play and scan the area. This clip is from a programme aired years ago Called The Secret life of Cats, the tv company fitted GPS devices to about 50 cats in a village in Surrey and also filmed them. The info about their movements was so interesting. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01b9ty7I watched that show- it was so interesting! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Our cats are a combination of outdoor/indoor during the day. At night they are either in the house (on out bed!) or the outsiders are in their kennel inside their cat cage. As most of them are around 13-14 yrs old now and we live in a quiet cul-de-sac and we recently put up a fence/gate they have trouble getting over, they rarely wander from our backyard now. Corinne
