I am so sorry you have received this diagnosis. I pray that your medication will arrive today, that your husband might understand in some small way, and that your treatment is effective. Hugs and prayers!

Just asked my daughter for you--she is a doctor (surgery resident). Here is how she dresses those types of wounds. She said to do the following: 1. Adaptic first (I will link below) 2. A couple of 4x4s to give a bit of padding. 3. Wrap in Kerlix 4. Lastly wrap with ace bandage She said their skin is literally tissue paper. She also agreed with wearing sleeves. Hope this helps. I have a 5 and have been considering getting a 9. When I read the news story on Monday morning, I went ahead and ordered. It came today but I haven’t had a chance to even open it. I’m getting $90 when I send my 5 back. Did you trade it with Apple? I should have tried to trade my 4. And MichyM, welcome to the dark side. You will love it.

I love my Apple watch--it's an older series 3. I was debating getting a 9, but my 3 is still working and stays charged all day. There are features I like to have on the newer versions, but I'll probably wait til this one dies.... Yeah, I decided to cave since my series 4 doesn't stay charged. I went with the Series 8 because I could get it $150 off. From what I read if you had an 8, there wasn't much difference between that and the 9. The difference in cost got me. LOL. It will be here on Wednesday.

I was reading about this last night. I have a 4 that now dies by 6 p.m. each evening. I am so tempted to get one today but wanted to hang onto this one a bit longer. Decisions, decisions.

Where would you find locker addresses? Go to "Your Account" followed by "Your Addresses." I didn't have any added but I did clean up my address list. It was good to look. Thank you.

I cannot imagine my life without my iPad. Like others have said, I use it all the time. That is not an exaggeration. I use my laptop a couple of times a week. I use my iPhone while out. But if I’m home my iPad is almost always right within reach. I cant imagine daily life without it. <——- typed on my iPad You sound as passionate about your iPad as I feel. Also, regarding the Kindle Fire, I also had that. There is absolutely NO comparison.

Oh my word, I used to think just like you. I got my first iPad (I'm now on my 2nd) several years ago. I absolutely cannot be without. I have a Macbook and iPhone, and I LOVE my iPad. I actually use it the most. I take it on every trip (no my Macbook), and I even use it for work. I always tell hubby, if this thing breaks, I will have to have a new one the same day. No questions! I am using it right now in fact.

I agree with lisae. Winston/Clemmons is a great area. I would live there over Charlotte or Raleigh any day. I used to take my car for service over there, and I always loved going. I am an hour from Clemmons. Always an easy drive, and everything you could want/need is in the area. I have tons of realty friends. If you need a realtor for that area, PM me, and I can ask if they can give me a good name.

Oh yes, we LOVE Scrap Exchange. I don't find a lot of scrappy stuff but I am looking more for art stuff. My daughter loves to look for teacher supplies. They have a bit of everything. Sometimes it's great; sometimes it's a bust. I have also been to the very small one in Ann Arbor, MI. Got some great stuff there too. You have to be willing to look through stuff. Have fun!

Yep, and I know Lisa! I always wave when I pass your house! Ashley has been at a school near your house for over a year. She also was in a BAD head on collision on 127 between your house and Bethlehem (not her fault) but BAD! Miss seeing you. Oh, I'm so sorry! Will send you a pm. PM'd ya back.

I have always decorated on Black Friday UNTIL last year. I did it the week before Thanksgiving, and I LOVED it! I was so tempted to start today but will wait until next week. I bought some new things today for my decor, and I am ready to go! It's so nice to spend Thanksgiving/Black Friday and beyond with all of that work done! I love to just enjoy it.

I have shopped 123stitch for many, many years. Always GREAT service, quick shipping (and only $3.95), great prices, and they have a lot! I prefer a brick and mortar store but I don't have any near me so 123 it is.

Mine has the function but I can do a lot of things in mine. I often do English Muffins (instead of toast). Six minutes is perfect for mine. It also has one rack and one tray. I use the rack much more than the tray.

I am so sorry that they can't see you until December. I had someone here locally that couldn't get in for a painful/similar problem for quite a while either. She couldn't suffer like that for months. I suggested another doctor (who is phenomenal) in another town, and they got her in that week, tested the next week, and she has been treated and on the road to recovery. Maybe try to find another doc to get in sooner. I am so sorry you are hurting!

Any chance that you can have it laparoscopically? I don’t know. I’ve been experiencing pain in my back for the last month (got really bad from Tuesday on last week) and all came to a head from Friday afternoon on and I ended up in the hospital over the weekend. Was able to schedule a video visit with my GP’s office (not my usual doc, boo-hiss) this afternoon, and hoping the surgeon calls me later today as well. Dr in hospital said it will be open, but I’m hopeful that he is wrong 🤞🏻 MichyM, PMing you.

I had a laminectomy between L4-L5 in 2020 right before Covid hit. My nerve was being crushed literally. I went to my daughter's neurosurgeon who did her spinal fusion. He is AMAZING. Wouldn't go to anyone else. I left the surgery center walking. He was not sure I would regain the feeling in my foot but I have. I went from a 7+ on the pain scale to about 2 each day. He said my spine is very unstable now because the piece of bone he had to remove was very large. He said I may eventually need a fusion but I am holding off as long as I can. I want to avoid that. I can function now though. I don't know where I would be had I not had spinal surgery. The injections were worthless. I am SO thankful I did it.
I also referred a friend of mine to this particular neurosurgeon, and she just had her cervical spine fused about 6 weeks ago. She is doing amazing!

Hmmm just two I've never done--change lawnmower oil and clean refrigerator coils. I am sure the coil thing would be easy, just have never had to do it.

Thankfully all of my family members that are on night shift had their phones off. Gracious, I can't imagine sleeping during the day and hearing that horrific sound. My phone went off but that was it because I was casting YouTube to my TV. It didn't come through that at all.
