My scrapbook room is in the basement but all my bible journaling supplies are in my Raskog which is upstairs tucked away in a corner of my living room where I can wheel it out and journal in my bible at any time. All my scrapbooking is done in my room ( which I love) downstairs.

I don't snack while scrapping but I have a horrible habit of snacking while reading a book.

When my niece was a CTMH consultant, I would sometimes order something and she would say "you already have that" lol

I used to scrapbook just for the fun, creative art that it is. Pretty much stuck a title down and maybe a few strips of journaling. However in the last few years, probably since having grand babies, my scrapbooking is totally about telling the story. Sure I still do some very simple, no words layouts, but mostly of my pages now include the story, good or bad. I have also gotten more into scrapbooking about myself which I think is important to leave as a legacy.

See, I'd really like one. I haven't been able to find a used one that works well, and I don't know if I'd be able to find ribbon, even if I had one that worked. I don't think it's available in Canada, and with the exchange rate still pretty high, it's not feasible to order online.
It's available in Canada…….saw them in my Michaels store yesterday.

My hubby and I love to do puzzles when we're camping (we're seasonal campers). It cannot be less than 1000 pieces and I'm very fussy with which one I buy. My favourites ever are by an artist named Charles Wysocki. Love his puzzles. Every Christmas also we work on a puzzle and as our kids visit us, they sit down and take over lol. It's a great way to destress.

I wore black to my daughter's wedding (mother of the bride). She actually chose the dress for me and I loved it. She wanted everything to coordinate for the photos…lol I seriously feel, these days anything goes, as long as the bride is happy.

"I'm happy with what I have because I don't like having to deal with a computer for crafts, to me, computer is WORK! If I had to pick only one, I'd go with dies, they last longer than electronic machines and if you have the cookie cutter type alphabets, just put your letters in the Big Shot (or whatever you have), cut them out, line them up on washi tape, put glue on them with fine line bottle and slap on card or page and done." Where do you find alphabet dies?

Can any Canadian peas comment on ACOT? I've never ordered from them... My go to is SSS but I've been looking at ACOT recently and am curious about shipping rates, times, duty, etc. I am Canadian also and I've never heard of ACOT? What is that?

Photos! I don't know what my problem is, I can't toss photos, even though they aren't "scrapworthy"! Case in point: I just finished an album of our Christmas Cabo trip. By the end, I probably had 20 photos that were good ones, but they were either pretty much duplicates of others that I scrapped.... or they were boring (love the ocean but who needs more than a couple pics?).... or (and I'm embarrassed to admit this!), the photo of me wasn't very good (swim suits, pool hair, need I say more?). Soooo, I took my little stack of Cabo photos and put them in the box with other less-than-loved photos and put it back on the shelf. Why? I don't know!! I can't remember whose you tube I watched, but they used a square punch and punched out something in every photo that didn't make it into an album and filed those into boxes with each person's name of them. For example, if there are 20 pics of my granddaughter at the park one day, and I only need 3 photos on my layout, use the square punch on all the other photos and throw them into the box with my granddaughter's name on it for a future collage, etc. SaveSave

I'm terrible, except for Christmas and Halloween paper, all my paper is stored together. I just love going through it and grab a paper that catches my fancy as I scrapbook.

Definitely professional photos. I much prefer everyday life photos. Also my son is in a band and the stage photos have so much lights and colours it's hard to scrapbook those.

love the Illustrated Faith line……it's about time someone came out and boldly stated what Christmas is all about. As far as a lot of black, that doesn't bother me as Christmas photos are so crazy with all the colours they will show great against the black backgrounds. I will be buying this collection for sure.

I saw a video from someone, but I can't remember who, where they took their leftover photos and a square punch and punched the most significant thing in the photo (usually a face ) and put them in a shoebox with that person's name or family. I do that now and it's cool to take some out and made a collage page.
