We actually just use some burlap fabric. When we first got married, we had some leftover from a project and we just temporarily stuck it under the tree until we got around to purchasing a real tree skirt, but we ended up really liking it. Seven years later and we are still using it!

Plan to be there early for rope drop and then leave a little before lunch. Plan to be back in the park around 3. Plan at least one day that you don't go to a park until after lunch. Day 3 is usually good for that, and Animal Kingdom is a good park to do on a short day. If you use these as rough guidelines to set up your reservations, you will be fine. I'm glad to hear this! This is definitely what we're planning on doing. I just don't want to be the family on the bus with kids having total meltdowns! Trying to make it relatively low key for both the kids sake and ours.

Thank you all so much for your replies! I still don't know what I am going to do, but you all have given me much to think about!
I'm a bit overwhelmed thinking about having to book fast passes, meals and other experiences so far in advance when it's impossible to know what days my kids will be ready for more and what days they will be totally done, which is why I am placing so much value on convenient transportation.
Anyways, I super appreciate all of the comments!

I am getting ready to book a trip to WDW next Fall and am torn between staying at Coronado Springs or Contemporary. Our kiddos will be 5 and just shy of 3 years old. I feel like I'm wanting to stay at Coronado Springs--and I like the moderate price point much better-- but I am wondering if the extra money for the Contemporary is worth it for the more convenient location. I plan on having us hit the parks in the morning, and then back to the hotel in the afternoon for rest time for the kids, and then maybe head back to the parks later on. With this amount of back and forth, I'm worried that a half hour of travel time each way (buses) is going to be a bit much.
I would love to hear opinions/advice from those who have been there/done that!
Thanks in advance!

Love this idea! I wouldn't mind doing it for Project Life (or other branded) cards too.

I really like the Liz T kit. Not a big surprise since I have both of her project life core kits. I just find her designs really easy to use for my taste. And I like the plaid + black & gold. Probably a buy for me.

I really like the 'cup of cheer' card and the vintage sled. Definitely has some cute elements, but I agree that some of it looks a bit repetitive. This could be a contender for me, but I'll wait and see the entire kit. Looking forward to the rest of the sneaks this week!

It already is. I wanted to submit for one, but you needed to have a blog. I have absolutely no interest in keeping up with a blog, especially since no one knows me. I would have too few followers for it to do them any good. Oh well. Yes! I feel this way too. Sometimes I think about starting one, but free time is a commodity and it feels silly to spend that time working on a blog that barely anyone will see, just for a chance at a design team that I may never even get chosen for. I'd rather just spend that time scrapping.

I'm kind of toying with the idea of becoming a Stamping Up demonstrator. I am 4 years into being a stay at home mom and I'm getting kind of antsy! Haha. Is anyone here a demonstrator with them? I'd love to hear about it...
Are there minimum sales requirements?
Thanks in advance!

Oh, I see what you are saying. I don't use a planner that has the 3 box set up or whatever it's called. I could never imaging buying more than one kit, but if you needed more of those kinds of stickers, I would probably see if you could buy some generic ones off of Etsy or something and then that would help stretch your kit out more. It hadn't really occurred to me that there were only enough for a week! You might want to check out the Planner Society Facebook group and ask there how people do it. They have some really great inspiration in that group.

I think there was another company called Girl's Paperie or something? I think I have one sheet of it left, but they had some beautiful papers that I used to scrap my daughter's baby pictures. I wonder what ever happened to them.

I don't think I've seen anyone mention Making Memories yet. I used to love their Halloween lines.

I use the header stickers on the month at a glance calendar. (ETA I think the header stickers you are referring to are the days of the week? Or do you mean the box ones that say things like 'TO DO'?) I also get TPS kits, but it's hard to say how long they last for because I also mix in some stamping as well as previous month's kits and whatever other supplies I feel like using.

I love Shimelle, but sometimes her lines can be a bit too primary colorish for my taste. (Nothing against it...just something I have a hard time using!) However, there are usually a few things I want from each of her lines and this one is no exception! Off to watch the video...

I like the paper that has the different shades of blue leaves. I see a few other sheets that I wouldn't mind picking up as well. That's pretty typical for me... I like to cherry pick. Also, I think the donut erasers are kind of cute! Don't know what I would do with them, but I like them as a motif.

I received my response and am happy enough with the resolution to send another $5o box (assuming it doesn't have a million duplicates again). Since I only purchased the $50 box, the value should equal out for me...I would not be happy with that had I purchased the $100 box though. I also think the 20% discount code option is crazy. Why would I pay MORE money for product you already owe me?

What do you guys think the warehouse boxes 2.0 will be like? The email says they will "supplement any value you were missing from your original box." However, they don't really know what the values were of each individual box. Most people seemed to feel like they received roughly half of what they should have. So, in theory, everyone should be receiving a box equal to the one they already received. That seems like A LOT (double) the amount of product going out that they hadn't originally anticipated. Do they have that much back stock left? Surely they won't be sending out so many duplicates this time. Do you think they will try to overcompensate to avoid further backlash or be scrounging for enough product? Any guesses?
I will be interested to see what amount they determine the original boxes to be short. This must be a HUGE fiasco for them.

I received my $50 SB/DK kit today. Definitely not worth it. I posted a pic on the Scrap Gals FB group. Not sure how to post one here. But, they sent me so many duplicates. They literally sent me 49 Joy to the World 3x4 cards, 16 Blessings 4x6 cards, the list goes on and on....!! A little duplication would have been understandable, but this is just taking advantage.
Definitely sending them a message.

I would have bought enough to get free shipping had I known it was older items. I haven't liked much from 2016, but had I known it was older stuff I totally would have caved. It is crazy though they keep making such errors. Why list it as being from 2016 when it wasn't? Seems like people will have valid complaints if their items are older and sc might be issuing credits or refunds like they did when the grab bag kits were supposed to be main kit add ons but were embellishment add ons or pl add ons. Just list it as a grab bag, no qualifier needed. I caved and got on DK grab bag. I hope it isn't old stuff. I never would have been tempted to get one if I had know it was old crap. I got one too and thought it was well worth the $5 plus shipping. I haven't been around there enough lately to know if what I got is new or old (except for 2 of the cards that said 2015 on them). But I got a full size stamp set that was from last Christmas, a roll of washi, a handful of cards + a transparency, sequins, a few sheets of various label stickers, these semi-transparent alphas, a couple letter pressed cards, a few other sticker sheets, and some other random things. It was really quite a bit.

If anyone is wanting some inspiration, I found some youtube videos of people preparing by making page kits ahead of time. I watched a couple while scrapping last night and it was neat to see how other people put things together. Looking forward to checking out a few more this weekend!
