Cannot stand the sound of someone eating a banana- a coworker used to eat one close to me and it drove me crazy! The smacking, sounded like glue sticking in her teeth and trying to pry it apart../grrrrr! I do not eat them- hate the texture- but the sound is worse than the texture to me! Crazy- I know!!!

I am also a natural strawberry blonde- but with MUCH gray. I use L'Oreal Excellence- and have for years. My hair is thick and now longer- so I use 2 boxes and use 2 shades and mix them -about a 60/40% blend of the 2 colors into 1 bottle- 40/60 into the other bottle. I use the darker of the 2 mixes on my roots- and comb the other slightly lighter color thru the rest of my hair. My hair also grows fast so I color about every 4 weeks- sometimes I need to color at 3 weeks. I tried just the root touch up and it was ok- but I prefer to do my whole head. L'Oreal is on sale pretty often at Walgreens and there are often coupons.

I agree that Liane Moriarty's books start out a big confusing- but I end of liking the story- have read a few of her books- thanks for the reminder- I want to read more! I love Henrietta Lacks- it was so sad in so many ways- and yes- some of it is rough to get thru but I thought it was an important book. I listen to books via my GPS when I travel for work- and the downside for me is that I do not see the book cover- so sometimes I forget the title or the author! Thanks for so many suggestions!

Yes- you will improve the more you do it. Coloring is fun and relaxing to me- if it comes out less than perfect- no big deal to me. I agree that colored pencils may work better with that book. Julia Altermann uses the Staedtler pens and does amazing things with them. She has several videos showing how to use them. I love how she gives great tips! Here is her blog: just-one-more-card.com/

What a sweet thing for him to say! And you are perfect!
My niece told me I looked thin yesterday.....and I was feeling pretty plump at the time! Some people have the gift for knowing what you need to hear---even when you do not know you need it! She made me remember we see ourselves differently than others see us and that sometimes we are not our own best friends!

Fabulous to hear this ---and I am super excited that she pays her own way and got a little help! I paid for college myself and one semester my brother paid for a class--it was very appreciated and a thoughtful thing to do! The recognition for your daughter is priceless! Brag on-love hearing good news!

I also get the liquid egg whites-- I like using it for omelets. Eggbeaters are perfectly fine with me. But I also do not mind low fat mayo, fat free salad dressings, turkey hot dogs- and other things lots of people find disgusting-- Lol! But- I still eat eggs- every now and then I just need a hard boiled egg!

I am soooo glad I re-found the peas-- all of your comments and well wishes are greatly appreciated. And I agree- most people mean well and we do not learn a lot about death. The 'intruders' are not relatives of my brother in law. I also think they were clueless and not trying to be malicious-it just really stung. It is interesting to hear about how others respond to death...and I like that I can throw out my feelings and even if you did not agree with all I said- you all were kind and respectful---- something I was in great need of and did not realize it!So thanks again for taking the time to read and reply!!!!

Hi all- thanks again for the support and well wishes. As others described, the front rows were reserved for the family; just our family was at the funeral home that morning and we drove in about 10 cars to the church (sis and nieces were in the limo). These people came to the funeral home and while they did not go inside - they said they were immediate family so they were placed in the car procession before many of us. They arrived at the church a few cars ahead of us and followed the casket right in. I think the parts that bothered me the most were not being able to comfort my sister, the lie they told, and the fact that my BIL was not fond of these people-due to other situations when they were thoughtless. I do wish I told the funeral director to move them but again- I was upset about the loss of my BIL and shocked at their behavior. I In retrospect-people offering their sympathy in ways that were comfortable for them is not the worst part or something that I will even remember in a week or so. I need to remember that we all grieve differently. That said-the intrusion is something I can forgive- but certainly will not forget.
