I have purchased several pairs for my daughter. I always find them on amazon super cheap. You have to check color, size, and style but I eventually find them for her. She loves them!

We had one a few weeks ago that I felt. I didn't know that's what it was until I got a breaking news about it though. We don't have them here usually.

I make my cinnamon tea daily. It always starts with boiling water. Then it steeps and ends up in the refrigerator overnight so it will be the perfect temperature!

seaexplore, yes it really is nice to take with me. I have been cross stitching since about 1980. Eeek! I put it down for many years but I did teach one of my girls. She LOVES to do it, and has done may Paula Vaughn pieces. I finally have a good "neck light" and my reading glasses so I can stitch on 14 count. Anything smaller than that now is very hard for me. And BTW, I hate sewing in stretchy fabric also. I had to fix one of my daughter's dresses last weekend. It was stretchy fabric with elastic for gathering the skirt in several places. I hate working with stuff like that. Thankfully it wasn't too bad off.

Gracious, how are you girls up to page 4 already? I have had a busy, busy month thus far but I AM taking time for me today. So, I finished this little piece. The church pattern is in an old Leisure Arts Christmas book. I modified it a little bit to be my church. I also hand dyed my twill. And then I followed instructions by Hands on Design to make my pillow. I stuffed it with crushed walnut shells and poly fill.

I can't stand that it's getting darker. November is always killer for me. I am a morning person, and I love having exercise done plus many other things by 7 a.m. Now I can't even get out until 7 a.m. Puts my day so behind.

Honestly, my favorite mayo based pasta salad is the Suddenly Salad boxed kits (Ranch & Bacon flavor). The spice mix is my favorite, and I love the little shells for the noodles, because they hold the mayo better. I'll add to it sometimes, more veggies or chicken, but it's my favorite. Same here (the Caesar Salad one). In fact, I am having it for dinner tonight. LOVE the stuff.

I’m 5’1” and have zero (well there’s a step ladder in the basement). I use chairs, barstools, counter tops. When you’re short you get creative 😉 I'm 5' on the button. I could never climb on any of that anymore at 56 and after back surgery. LOL! Our house is 5,400 sq. ft. which includes the unfinished basement. I have WAY too many stools but I also need them. Heck, I even have a portable footstool that I carry in my purse. Used it at Cheesecake Factory on Sunday to be able to sit comfortably. So, here is my list: (1) my walk-in closet (1) pantry (2) laundry room (1) basement + (2) ladders which I do not use; those are hubby's (1) a walk-in closet upstairs (2) in my studio So, it's that (8) total NOT counting my portable one in my purse.

I recently bought one that my periodontist had at the office. But I wish I had looked around. I like the idea of a smaller, more portable one. But I wonder if those hold enough water? Mine holds more than enough water. I only fill it up half way, and still don't use it all in one "water flossing." And BTW, hubby needed a new one since his is starting to leak. It's really old. Anyway, I found Walgreen's had it cheaper than amazon when I ordered online, and I was able to use a coupon. Just thought I would share.

Though I don't use metals very often, I avoid yellow gold like the plague. I love white gold or silver. I say this for both my crafting and jewelry wearing.

I was watching the press conference and both the police chief and sheriff were crying. So heart breaking for the family. Yes, I watched it too. So sad and heartbreaking. And I am thankful they got the suspect. I knew it probably wouldn't take them long to find him thankfully. Praying for the family, students, staff, etc.

Patter , that paintbrush and paint set is adorable!! Love it! Thank you! It's made by Pottery Barn Kids and was $100+. I found it at a local thrift store for $35!!!! I LOVE it. Someone has just the paintbrush on eBay for $4,999 and someone else has the set for $499. Crazy!!!!

I have the cordless one and love it. A tip my dental hygienist told me was to put mouthwash/water mixture in the pik. I just put about half and half and I just rinse out the pik with water when I'm done. Jennifer Oh man, that is brilliant. I need to start doing that. Thank you!!!!

I moved into one of my girls' rooms when they all moved out. Her room was green, and I thought about changing it but didn't. I love it now because it just works for my space. Here is one small corner of my room (the art corner). I wouldn't have chosen this but it works now that I am in there. The green is perfect.

I got mine back in March, and I did not have a choice. I (along with one daughter and my parents) all got Moderna. My hubby and other two daughters got Pfizer. Again they didn't have a choice. I was the last in my family to get the vaccine. Everyone else got theirs in January/early February.

muggins what a gift you are sharing with these young ones. WOW! Truly, truly awesome. And leftturnonly , your words have truly touched me this morning. I was just reading in my Bible the other day about idle chatter and knowing when to keep quiet. I noted in the margins that being "Patter chatter" is not always good. Thank you so much for touching me today! And I LOVE your crochet pieces. Wow! So glad you jumped in and shared. I also love that free pattern. That's exactly what I have been looking for. Off to download. jeremysgirl , wow, that is really coming along. Looks like a work of art.

Oh gracious, that is SO scary. So thankful she is going to be okay. Wow. My exterminator just does 1/2 of our acre (around the house). The other half we call the "dog park," and he doesn't do anything over there. Maybe I need him to. Oh my word. So scary, and you can bet I will be checking my boys more closely. Hugs to your precious pup!

Today my son asked if we waited for an invitation to visit his grandparents (when he was young).
This inspired my poll.
In my family, no one ever waited for an invitation to another family member's home. We call and ask if it is convenient to come on a particular date. This is true for my siblings and was for parents when they were alive.
I wondered if we were out of the norm.
Your family is like ours. We LOVE family. I have traveled north 3x already this year to see family. Just got back 3 weeks ago in fact from my latest trip. I hate that we live so far apart. I would have us all on the same street if we could!

Patter I love these junk journals. I’ve tried to do abstract mixed media artwork, but it takes real talent to make pages as appealing as yours. Please keep posting them:) Awe, thank you. I haven't done them in a while because I really haven't had time with everything else. But now that I have gotten my fingers filled with paint again, I have got to make time because it brings me such joy! And thank you too gillyp.
