I assume they are using air purifiers. This is what my dentist put in every single room of her clinic: www.rabbitair.com/I have two Austin Air Purifiers in my house. Hmm, maybe I should get one for my daughter's classroom.

Laurie he will be 2 1/2 hours away, so not close enough for a quick visit, unfortunately. Two of my girls left for college a year before #3 because of her health issues. They were 3 hours away, and we made day trips a lot or the other two would come home on the weekends. If we made a day of it, we would leave around 7 a.m., get there at 10 a.m., have lunch and hang out until 3 p.m., then home by dinner. Worked well for us.

My dad has told me countless stories of when he was refueled midair but he was a fighter pilot. It must take nerves of steel to be part of a midair refuel. He always acts like it was no big deal. My girls LOVE to sit with him and hear his stories.

First, congrats! So exciting! When my daughter got her master's, she preferred physical books. She ordered or rented from Chegg.com. Check them out. They were amazing to work with. However, my daughter in med school loves online books. I don't know how she does it but she does. Paper is always for me also.

Just finished a mini puff quilt (17"x18") for when I get a new cat companion. Sewed the puffs by hand then dragged out my sewing machine that hasn`t seen the light of day for years. I really prefer hand sewing but it was a bit much sewing the crossover seams. My late Asha had one of these quilts and loved it so hoping next fur face will as well. Love it!

In my studio. I used to have my studio in our room above the garage but there was not a door on that room. I want/need a door for my alone time. So, when the girls moved out, I took "A's" room as it has a massive walk-in closet that is L-shaped. I use the closet as a workroom where supplies are stored, where my trimmer is, etc. Then the rest of the room is my art studio. I have a sewing cabinet in the sewing area, my grandmother's old art table for my art, and my Scrap 'n Cube for my other crafty stuff. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my room plus I have my own bathroom in there too.

I wanted my big boys to have a bed so I bought ONE to see what would happen. They both prefer the hardwood floor also. Well then crazy enough, I found one fo them in our toy dog's bed! The both now on occasion will use it instead. The one that really likes it will literally carry it where he wants, put it down, and curl up into a ball and lay in it. His head is off of the side but he loves that. It's actually hilarious. Here is the one we have. It comes in many sizes. It's lasted for years and has really turned out to be a great bed. All 3 dogs use it at some point in the day but they never fight for it because they never seem to want it at the same time. tinyurl.com/3yh64em2

RedSquirrelUK I can't believe you are that far into it already! You are prolific! This is going to be a beautiful blanket. No kidding. I was going to say the same thing. Wow, she is fast! They are beautiful, and those colors will pop once you add the other color. Can't wait to see it done. And kellyr21 those are very pretty.

At the kitchen table. If the weather is nice, we’ll eat outside. Growing up my mom would turn off the tv at dinner time. I usually did the same with my kids. Ditto. Dinner is very important to us. Hubby won't get home until later tonight but I will still come over to the kitchen table and sit with him. And when the kids are in town, dinner (and all meals) are at the kitchen table. Same growing up too. Two of my girls and I were just with my parents at their house last week. Some of the best memories are made at the kitchen table talking and sharing.

My two LEOs have been vaccinated since late January, and most of the LEOs I know have been vaccinated. I think in any profession there are many that have not been vaccinated including crazy amounts of medical staff. And bc2ca , thank you for sharing that page. It's one I always go to. It's a great (but sad) one. I also did not realize that you can support them through Amazon Smile so I just changed my support organization to them. Excited I can do that! I didn’t mean to offend. I’m glad the LEO’s in your life are vaccinated. I really hope that happens for others in my state. I’m in a blue state but a red county. And the anti-vax talk is strong. Thank you. It's all good. I don't see it as a red or blue issue as I have seen people from both sides not vaccinated. Just makes me sad that there is so much misinformation out there and people make their decision to get vaccinated or not off of incorrect information.

I was always a FitBit girl. Had countless over the years but I would never go back. I am an Apple watch girl all the way (for almost 2 years now). It can do SO much more, and even the EKGs are great. My daughter's interventional cardiologist always looks at her EKGs from her watch. He also runs his own but the watch is accurate. It's an amazing piece of technology in SO many ways.

How many of them were vaccinated? My DD’s friend down the street has a LEO father…and none of them are vaccinated by choice. I’m not trying to dismiss the deaths in anyway, but it’s a bit dishonest without all the info. If they weren’t vaccinated and died, I’m sorry for their families but my guess is that the exposure risk is high. If they didn’t get vaccinated and they could have, that’s on them. My two LEOs have been vaccinated since late January, and most of the LEOs I know have been vaccinated. I think in any profession there are many that have not been vaccinated including crazy amounts of medical staff. And bc2ca , thank you for sharing that page. It's one I always go to. We have plenty of room, and we are also at the end of the cul-de-sac. It's hard to park in the circle out on the street. I don't mind at all if people are in my driveway.

I just ordered this after Merge recommended it in the other thread. I ordered the blonde from amazon for $3.23. It will be here tomorrow. I am excited to try it. I have sparse areas now as I get older.

Our financial advisor says even if you and your future husband do not have significant assets, IF there is a chance one of you could inherit a lot, it is also necessary because then one could take a significant amount of the inheritance. I personally hadn't thought about that. I’m curious about that because everything I’ve read indicates that inheritance is NOT community property unless the person inheriting co-mingles it with the community assets. So if I inherited $1 million and kept it in a separate account, that it would be solely mine. But if I used the money to put in a pool for the joint house, then it would become part of the community assets. Neither DH nor I stand to inherit any significant amount, so it wouldn’t matter to us but someone from a wealthy family would definitely want to sign a prenup. Not sure about that but lots of couples only have shared accounts. And it could of course vary state to state also.

If you are young and don’t have any significant assets, it’s really not necessary. If you are a little older and have a high dollar career, or own property it is a must to protect both parties. Our financial advisor says even if you and your future husband do not have significant assets, IF there is a chance one of you could inherit a lot, it is also necessary because then one could take a significant amount of the inheritance. I personally hadn't thought about that.
