I enjoy this show, too. But I don't know why I keep watching it. I cry during every episode.

No way, no how! I would not let my kids dye their hair an unnatural color. If my 12 year old wanted highlights, maybe, but again - a natural color. I think blue, green, purple, etc. hair looks ridiculous.

While I don't like to see dogs left in the car in this weather, sometimes it is unavoidable. Before I get flamed for saying it, let me present the following scenario:
I am driving up to the cottage with my kids and my dogs. I can't leave the dogs home because I will be gone for a few days, and they enjoy being at the cottage. If one of my kids has to use the bathroom, what do I do? I can't let the kids go into the rest area alone, and I can't bring the dogs in with me. The only option is to let them wait in the car.
Some dogs like to go in the car. One of mine jumps in while the car is in the garage and I'm bringing in the groceries. In the case the OP presented, at least the a/c was on and perhaps the owner was only picking up a carry out.

I see them now, too. I don't know if I just missed them before or if they just started showing up. They don't bother me, though, except for the fact that one is for Abercrombie and another for Sprint -- both sites I looked at recently. I think it's creepy that the ads can be targeted to a specific computer like that.

Honey Boo Boo, Bachelor/Bachelorette, Survivor, Kardashians. I'm sure there are more that I can't recall right now.

I had no idea that keeping kosher was so involved. Thank you all for sharing this information. I find it interesting. I thought kosher just had to do with the way an animal was slaughtered, and had no idea that it extended to kitchen wares, appliances, and condiments.

Around here we have a Gigi's and another called Just Baked. Personally, I prefer Just Baked. Their cupcakes taste better, are less expensive, and they have better hours. Gigi's are too sweet for my taste, but the few times I've gone in there, they had sold out of several flavors.

Brazil is getting SPANKED! And I am loving every single minute of it! Me too! The refs were so favorable to Brazil during the last game, they probably didn't realize they actually had to play today.

Hi Pea Refugees! My son needs help finding a birthday gift for his 12 y.o. "girlfriend." (It's so cute and innocent at this stage. They text each other and have water balloon fights with the other kids in the neighborhood - they haven't even held hands ). Anyway, she wants a necklace for her birthday. I took him to Charming Charlie, but everything there looks either too grown up or too juvenile. What do 12 year old girls like? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

While I haven't been on the Breeze, I've been on several Carnival cruises as well as most of the other popular lines and I haven't had any issues with Carnival. I just stick to the newer, larger Carnival ships.
The food in the dining room has always been excellent. I'm not a fan of their breakfast buffet (or any breakfast buffet, for that matter), but the rest of the food? Yum!

Do you have to thaw and drain the spinach first? I'm thinking it might get too watery without draining it.

I sweep everything into a corner and then vacuum that pile up. I feel like I can't get it all in the dustpan, so vacuuming the mess works best for me. Or, I will just vacuum the entire floor with my Dyson.

It's not my teeth that feel weird, it's my tongue. Happens every time but I still keep eating it! Me, too! I hate that feeling, but I spinach, so I put up with it.

It would be one thing if your boss brought his kids to a business that he owned, but I find it completely unacceptable that your boss is bringing his kids to work when he is not the owner, CEO, etc. My kids are pretty good in public (ages 12 and 10 now) and I wouldn't even bring them on take your kid to work day -- and I'm a teacher.
Sorry your slacks are dirty and that they disrupted your day.

Sometimes I fold it in the laundry room as I take it out of the dryer, but I usually do it in the kitchen. No matter where I fold it, it gets stacked on the kitchen table in piles for everyone to put away.

That reminds me of the episode of the Dick Van Dyke show where Richie keeps getting attacked by a bird. When he went outside he had to wear a pot or a colander or something as a hat. Turned out the bird wanted his hair to make a nest.
I bet you won't be taking that route again anytime soon!

Wow! What an incredible story that is unfolding here. The fact that those letters were found and you held onto them and the quick detective work that is happening here to reunite those letters with the family. This place is amazing!

Something doesn't make sense to me. The article says that the tenant changed the locks and put up industrial chains to keep the landlord out, yet the police say there is an unsecured handgun that yhe child can access. And the lawyer says he represented the tenant previously and tells the landlord to just settle? That sounds like a conflict of interest. I don't completely buy this story.

I have a good friend that is a romance writer (she has sold over 5 million books). You should hear her talk about her writing. For her it is all very perfunctory. She basically knows what her readers want and she writes it. She is also very defensive about her writing (and I guess I would be too if I had made as much money as she has). She will tell you her characters are deep and her plots are well-thought out. As for me, I think her writing is junk, her characters shallow and her stories have no plots. Now obviously I don't tell her this, I keep my opinions to myself but it is fascinating to watch her talk about her writing. Another thing that I think is so interesting is that you give her a newspaper article to write or a blog post and her writing is barely average.........................amazing.................I also have another friend that has written a book that is climbing up the Amazon charts, she already has an agent and there is talk of a movie..........her books is literary fiction and has some "meat" to it. Anytime she writes anything whether it be on Facebook, a blog post, or a newspaper article, you can see her excellent writing skills in everything she does...............fascinating to watch.................I enjoy this kind of stuff. Am I the only one who wants to know who the authors are? I'm wondering if I read anything by the first, and want to read the book written by the second.

There's a book on Amazon right now, free on Kindle, that is about unrealistic expectations that women have because of Nora Roberts. It has pretty good reviews and the idea is pretty smart. Nora Roberts gave her permission for the title of the first book: Nora Roberts
Thanks for sharing. I just downloaded it and can't wait to read it.
