Well, at least we known that Kate and Toby move back to CA. I called the separation early in the season, so that wasn't particularly surprising to me. And Jack would not have robbed that bar. Completely out of character. I totally agree! He's an adult (28) who has, as far as we can tell, never been in trouble, never broken the law. No way does someone suddenly turn bad at that age and to that degree (and yes, I know this was the deceit behind Breaking Bad, and it was one reason why I never wanted to watch it, because I found the premise ridiculous). I swear, I think the writers lost their minds. I feel as though they messed with us, and I don't like it. In fact I might not want to watch the show anymore. I really don't know. I think the owner of that bar was the guy who was holding the poker game and had Jack beat up to get the money back. I think Jack felt justified in trying to get that money back from him, even if it meant robbing the guy's bar.

I just bought the gray Adventure album with a 60% off Jo Ann's coupon. So happy that Mike's takes other store coupons! The album is post bound, but it seems well made. I bought it because one of my DDs went to London last week and took a ton of pictures, so this album will be perfect!

I am finally going to Prince Edward Island this summer. I have loved Anne of Green Gables since I was 8 years old. I am now a fan of all of LM Montogomery's works and can't believe in a few short months I will get to see her beloved Island for myself. Skellinton, a couple of years ago a Californian friend and I did an online class about Laura Ingalls Wilder and reread all the Little House on the Prairie books. Loved them all when I read them the first time around as a child and even more when I read them a second time (and a third) as an adult. That Summer, we used her as the theme for our road trip and went via Pepin and Mansfield, enjoying the background experience so much that we thought we might do it again for....you've guessed! Anne of Green Gables!! I'd love to hear how your journey goes...are you in IG? Will you blog? That sounds wonderful!

My mother was abused in an Alzheimer's unit of a local nursing home. I did not want her there (that's a story for another day) and I was there to see her every day. I just had this feeling something bad was happening. My husband found a secret camera online that looked like a clock radio. We set it up in her room and sure enough, we get video of abuse. I'll never get those images out of my mind. Never. The 3 girls were prosecuted. I moved my mom in with us and basically never let anyone but family neat her again. I couldn't trust anyone and although it was very difficult-she was very severe for the last 8 months of her life, i feel so privileged to have been able to leave my job and care for her full time. My mother deserved nothing less after all she had been through. It's just terrible what some people are capable of. Thank you To everyone who is looking out for the vulnerable.

Why have I not learned my lesson with SC? I subbed with the $5.00 code mainly because I wanted to get the pet stamp/ cards. Everything is fine until I try to access my pre sale page and I get a "lost" message. Of course, no one over there gives a shit. No response to my conversations. I guess I have to wait 48 hours. I don't even know why I'm surprised that they don't care. Lesson finally learned!!!!

AJ is beautiful! I too adopted a dog with similar circumstances (a puppy mill mother). We have had her for a little over a year and she has really turned into the perfect dog. I almost felt as if she were more like a wild animal when we got her. She was a caged, outdoor dog. You would never know it now! It's amazing what love and care will do for an animal. So happy that you saved her! Please keep us updated!

That was an amazing thing that your son did. Isn't it crazy how we get so weighed down with things and then something like what your son did happens--it's always a good thing to get those reality checks about the more important things in life!

Truth. Thanks. I'm laying low. Little guy made a valentine at school. "Thanks for all you have (not) done!" I don't know if he was trying to be funny? He couldn't comprehend why I wasn't overjoyed to receive it and refused to accept it. And it's laminated!! He started backpedaling when his brother explained what was wrong with it. "I meant thanks for everything you do AND don't do! Can't you put the side with my picture on it on the refrigerator?" I capitulated on that point. His nana wants to take him to the dollar store to buy me a gift. He really wants to, to make up for the terrible card. I've received a couple of texts today, a card in the mail from one gf and another dropped off flowers and is ordering pizza for us for dinner. I appreciate their thoughtfulness. I read that as he is saying thanks also for the things you don't do -like maybe not being mad if he doesn't finish chores, etc. I didn't read that as something mean. Obviously, I don't know you or your son, but maybe he really did mean it as a positive! Hang in there!

And you know what really ticks me off? Pat Toomey's phones have been turned off for days. On his facebook page, he claims it is because he was getting too many calls from out of state people and he only wants to hear from his constituents. Really? But you can accept $60K in donations from an out-of-state donor and then vote for her for a Cabinet position which she is highly unqualified for. And IRL, I do not know a single Republican who was in support of her. My Republican DH is losing all faith in his party. Exactly. Out of State money is AOK. So donate to their opponents. Funny how they never mind out of state money, just out of state phone calls. Toomey is one of my senators (I'm embarrassed to even say it). He will be hearing from me. Asshole.

My R Senator was on the news last night proclaiming people are being paid to call him and tell him to vote No. He is more concerned that these paid people are taking valuable voice mail space from his "real" constituents. He is basing this on seeing ads on Craigslist and area codes of phone numbers from people calling him. We have a ton of transplants here in CO, of course they are going to have different area codes! On our local school district Facebook issue site, one person said they sent him a request to vote No and his office sent her back a list of reasons why DeVos was a great candidate for Sec of Ed. I have little hope left in him going against party. Our D Senator is on the Education committee and he voted No already. That Senator has drunk the Trump kool aid. WTF? I guess they will will learn to listen, like they are paid to do, when their constituents vote NO for their re election huh? I believe there is no doubt that everyone will remember just how their senators voted this time around. They are in for a rude awakening when it's time for re-election.

Jealous? That is a weird thing to think. I don't play football, I don't have any interest in his wife, don't find him handsome ( and if I did, I don't fancy looking like a guy), so why would I be jealous of him? There is just no way he didn't know the balls were underinflated. I don't doubt he wasn't the one who deflated them, but I think it is pretty obvious he knew they were under inflated, and I am sure as heck someone took the fall for him. He may not be the only person who cheats in professional sports, but that doesn't make it ok! Cheating is cheating. I don't like anyone who cheats. He comes across as terribly arrogant, he just does, I much prefer people like Drew Brees or Russel Wilson, they seem humble and do a lot of charity work. Not to mention, he destroyed his cellphone and would not allow his texts to be retrieved and reviewed. IMO, if you're innocent, you will do what it takes to prove your innocence.

So we can add @~Lauren~ into the group who don't support those who aid our military and are ok leaving them to those in their former country who would punish them for supporting the US military. The guy and his family will probably have it pretty rough, possibly even die, but hey - as long as everyone shut's up and realizes Trump is no big deal you are ok with that..... got it. I saw him with his family on the news and I'm just sick for them. So worried what will happen to them.

I don't drive far, but there is a relatively new memorial to our local fallen military men and women. It is beautiful and I hope it's a comforting place (especially for their family members) to visit.

i might be misinterpreting your post, but you don't have to submit a FAFSA. If you know that you make too much money to qualify for aid, it's not worth the effort! Only speaking from my experience of three kids in three different universities, two required the FAFSA no matter what. SaveSaveI didn't realize that some schools require it. My 2 DDs are at 2 different schools and luckily, they aren't required at either.
