We ran to grocery store for fruit and eggs!
We’re all laying low today, we all got boosters within the last 2 days, and while I’m good, it actually hit hubby hard (surprisingly so!) all he wants to do is nap!
So I’m going through a big stack of cooking magazines, mixed in with reading/perusing a few new books, rest are reading or napping were all together but quiet and doing our own thing together!
We made cauliflower crust crab pizza for dinner! Yum!
And hubby made himself a rum hot toddy and I’m drinking coffee with a big gulp of cinnamon rumchata🤣

Half our staff is out positive.
The few of us left are going in, keeping doors locked and cleaning.

Oh, man. Let the slug-fest begin just because former president had the audacity to speak to truth for 10 seconds.
I like this. My question is, does Jones have a rationale, or is he just being a walking, talking Id? He’s a grifter. He will sell whatever bullshit makes him bank.

An AeroGarden!
Hubby noticed just how many fresh herbs I buy during winter! Lol
Two beautiful rings, a huge citrine and a gold topaz.
Several gift cards that require a day trip which is awesome.
Boss had delivered yesterday (he officially has covid!) a rare plant, a gorgeous pair of clippers, a GC to one of the best restaurants in town, and an envelope of cash! A total surprise! He was super generous this year.

Vaccines aren’t universally political. At least, they weren’t until Trump made them political. Exactly. A bunch of right wing political nut jobs who are all making bank off of it too.

We didn’t put up a tree. No kidding. It just wasn’t in me this year.
I have my mantle elaborately decorated.
Didn’t bake. Haven’t made/given our usual fudge plates to friends.
Siblings didn’t want me to bring the “signature” dishes we make every year. Then they start asking what I’m bringing. So I’m like just tell me what I’m to bring because you all planned out all the details without me (and not for a lack on my part) and we’re pretty rude/harsh about me not bringing our favorite dishes (there’s never any left for me to take back).
So I’m making me a fruit salad to take to eat because not one of my siblings will accommodate my being allergic to wheat, and I dare not inquire as to any ingredients!!

Who really gives a crap what the population to covid deaths ratios are? The fact is people are dying from something that they shouldn’t be dying from!
Way too many People died from a virus that can be mitigated or stopped by following accurate medical advice, science, temporary restrictions, masks and vaccines.

Let's break it down by state, shall we? CA - 64K deaths TX- 53K deaths FL - 39K deaths The only other state that has a high number is NY with 54K deaths. TX and FL are 2 of the top states for deaths. Please enlighten me as to how your state is doing a kick ass job of dealing with it? CA and NY took Draconian level precautions. And their deaths are just as high. So what good were those ridiculous measures? We don’t have the restrictions and still have less deaths. That seems pretty kick ass to me. Yes because it’s always a “kick-ass” celebratory moment at 54,000 deaths when temporary restrictions, masks, and vaccines could have that number much closer to zero. Add that you’re also selfish to being a fucking awful human.

She WAS NOT convicted of murder. Also, her taser and gun look nothing alike. There is so much wrong with what you posted it’s unbelievable. Why can people on this website not handle other opinions? and yes they don’t look alike but they feel alike in when under the stress of the situation…..her going to prison is wrong to me. But respect your opinion and will not chastise you for it Oh and no one “owes” you civility for YOUR opinion.

I honestly am sick that she was found guilty. What is next? Charge doctors and nurses for murder if a medical error kills someone? I agree. And yes—if doctors are negligent and make medical errors, they too should be held accountable. I’m actually shocked that one wouldn’t think that.

Well okay…no civil conversation to be had here. Carry on ….. So what does “civil” mean exactly? Reading through the thread, it’s civil so far! Do you mean “compliant” where others just nod and agree with an opinion instead of providing facts that may negate the opinion?

Wrong!! You should probably check out science. Vaccines CAN stop a person from getting covid. What they don’t do is “cure” covid. Per the CDC: “COVID-19 vaccination causes a more predictable immune response than infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine gives most people a high level of protection against COVID-19 and can provide added protection for people who already had COVID-19. One study showed that, for people who already had COVID-19, those who do not get vaccinated after their recovery are more than 2 times as likely to get COVID-19 again than those who get fully vaccinated after their recovery. All COVID-19 vaccines currently available in the United States are effective at preventing COVID-19. Getting sick with COVID-19 can offer some protection from future illness, sometimes called “natural immunity,” but the level of protection people get from having COVID-19 may vary depending on how mild or severe their illness was, the time since their infection, and their age. Getting a COVID-19 vaccination is also a safer way to build protection than getting sick with COVID-19. COVID-19 vaccination helps protect you by creating an antibody response without you having to experience sickness. Getting vaccinated yourself may also protect people around you, particularly people at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19. Getting sick with COVID-19 can cause severe illness or death, and we can’t reliably predict who will have mild or severe illness. If you get sick, you can spread COVID-19 to others. You can also continue to have long-term health issues after COVID-19 infection.” They don’t stop people from getting covid. Three times vaxxed and masked people are getting covid. The vaccines ARE stopping people from getting covid. Same as it’s lessening symptoms in others. And there are some who get the break through. But A vaccine can absolutely prevent people from getting it. (It’s sad that some people just don’t understand how vaccines work). Again, from the CDC: “Vaccines prevent diseases that can be dangerous, or even deadly. Vaccines greatly reduce the risk of infection by working with the body’s natural defenses to safely develop immunity to disease. This fact sheet explains how the body fights infection and how vaccines work to protect people by producing immunity.”

Get your head out of your ass. Obesity, smoking, alcoholism, diabetes are far different diseases with deep genetic, social, and mental components. COVID is a disease spread by coughing and sneezing. COVID can be stopped by two shots, which obviously you haven't received given your other postings. Wrong!!! The vaccines don’t stop covid. You should probably change that sentence. Wrong!! You should probably check out science. Vaccines CAN stop a person from getting covid. What they don’t do is “cure” covid. Per the CDC: “COVID-19 vaccination causes a more predictable immune response than infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. And now, mounting evidence worldwide shows that these vaccines cannot stop the transmission of the virus and variants, yet vaccination mandates continue. COVID-19 vaccination will protect most people from getting sick with COVID-19. A small percentage of fully vaccinated people will still get COVID-19 if they are exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19. These are called vaccine breakthrough infections. People with vaccine breakthrough infections may spread COVID-19 to others. However, it appears that vaccinated people spread COVID-19 for a shorter period than do unvaccinated people. Vaccination also might make illness less severe. If you are fully vaccinated, the overall risk of hospitalization and death due to COVID-19 is much lower than among unvaccinated people with similar risk factors.
The dumbass knows this, she’s just being a dick.

Great idea! Let's add fast food for overweight people. Obesity is a big concern health wise and I sure would like to see those people making those choices pay more too. What about smokers? Alcoholics? Type II Diabetics? All conditions that can be cured but often aren't because of lifestyle decisions. Let's penalize ALL OF THEM. And because you’re obviously stupid, most insurers already have different policies and/or make those who are out of their parameters (overweight, other health conditions, smokers) where they pay more. So adding covid to the list —excellent! Maybe forcing you science deniers who are burdening the medical system to pay higher costs will get you vaccinated.

This was the ad in todays Cleveland plain dealer. Hospitals are begging people to be vaccinated. And I ousted last week about the mobile morgue coming back to our local hospital. They just brought in more refrigerated trailers today. Governor said 9 of 10 people in hospital with Covid are unvaccinated.
