Is there someone in your neighborhood that would watch your child on those days she feels icky? Start checking around to see what you can find. Maybe a mom whose kids are in school but she is at home?

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Death certificates--for my dad ('96)we ordered 20 and had to get more. When my mom died ('01) the number was less because just a handful of places took copies.

I haven’t read the other responses, but does he get paternity leave? He could use that time.
Another thought would be could he borrow a camper, park in the driveway and stay in there? That way he could work. He wouldn’t be in the house.
It’s a crappy situation. I’m just trying to come up with ideas.

Check your homeowners insurance. Ours would drop us if we got one. If there is an accident with other children you may have to cover it.

For those of you wanting your hair done is it because you are working outside the home?
I wonder how many people will choose a longer hair style?

I would present the idea to the powers that be that phone lines should be moved as this issue isn’t going away anytime soon. It may be a year or more that it lasts (I hope not, but we need a vaccine).
Personal cell phone—I worked with hundreds of staff (500-600) within a school. I was all over the 3 buildings that were my responsibility. My cell was just about the only way people could catch me on the fly (most of my job). I really had no choice. Yes, I used my email. Yes, I used my desk phone. The problem was I wasn’t always at my desk. What I didn’t do was check my email on my phone. I didn’t want my data chewed up by school usage. No, in all the years I held that position there was never any reimbursement of my use of my personal phone.
Now, if I didn’t use my phone I would return to my office only to have to go back to another building (which could of been across the street). So, in my mind using my own phone saved me from running more than I was.

Get some wine! Let him clean it up.
Look at what is there. Is there anything at all you can cook? I’d be concerned but maybe would try to selvage some of it.

Shit's getting real for Trump. Can you imagine the temper tantrums he is throwing? I heard someone describe his anger as a "lava" temper tantrum. Gosh, I thought he said when it started that it was only the flu. No need to get upset Mr. Trump! Unfortunately maybe NOW he will take action......Doofus.....

I have a 4Runner. It sits up pretty tall and most of my friends grunt a bit when they get in. I have no problem with it. I love the feel of my seats and the position of my body is tall enough behind the wheel. It might depend on how tall you are for the comfort of the ride as well as how comfy the seats are. I had a 4Runner years ago. I loved it!! I love how it is so high off the ground. We are considering a new suv. I may go back to a 4Runner.

I didn’t understand the deal with bike shoes until I tried them. Oh goodness they make a great difference. You are using different muscles and your legs will be straight and not bowed out. You will feel it until you get used to it.
I love my bike shoes. I don’t have a Peleton but ride anywhere from 15-25 miles almost daily.

Not going to be a popular opinion here... but I'm going back the day they open. I'm not going to change the rest of my life because of this virus. Yes- I'm being as careful as I can, but I'm still out in the stores everyday working. This is going to go on for months... Yeah, I'm out and about and taking my chances. So, yes, as soon as the gym opens I'm headed there. Honest to god, it's only here on the board where I'm hearing "I'm staying in until . . . " whatever - vaccine, 2 weeks clear, etc. Out in the real world here in the midwest (the great flyover states, for you elite coasters) we are just doing our thing, using the prescribed precautions and keeping on trucking. Otherwise, how do you think you're going to get your food picked, processed, and to the grocery stores so you can sit on your tuffet and order online? Until you have someone who is affected by this you will not comprehend how bad it is. Oh, and Midwest....yes, I’m there too. I live in a neighborhood where a first responder and National Guardsman regularly party. Please take your chances. Please.....we need people who will volunteer to be examples for everyone else. That’s what I’m also hoping for from the states who are opening up things that aren’t essential. I cannot wait to see how they play out. It all makes for educational tv.

As Ashley said above though having a temperature is not an accurate way to see if someone is potentially infected and in any even all people have to do if they have a temperature is pop some Tylenol. We see it all the time at school. Parents constantly send their kids back to school the day after they are sent home with fevers because they give them Tylenol and “they seem fine, no fever! Here ya go”. By 1 o’clock the Tylenol has worn off and the kids have a fever again. I wonder what restrictions Disney can put on who can enter their park and what those would be? Not picking on you, but genuinely curious what they can do. I would be surprised if they open up this year, sadly because I have a long planned and delayed trip set for about the same time as you and it makes me really sad to realize we probably won’t get to go. If they do open they won’t likely have parades or face character meet and greets. They would also likely require people use the app to order and pick up food. Gosh people suck. It would NEVER occur to me to drug myself or my kid in order to get into a theme park. Then really I have no idea what measures they could take. Right now my hope is for some miracle treatment or that the parks stay closed. Parents do this every single day of the school year. My girlfriend’s district had it so bad that the local doctor called the administration to rat out the parents. The doctor made a general statement to the admin. The admin had seen it for weeks. The kids were fine in the morning. By noon, 1:00 fevers, puking and tiredness. The building was a mess. The district closed for a Friday. It was cleaned well. Everyone returned on Monday. It was a little better. Parents do not want their kids home. Parents have to work. Sick kids means they can’t go to work. Consequently they send them to school and the illness is spread. Guess what will happen with Covid 19?

Breathing....yeah, kind of important and dangerous at the same time.
I bet even if they do open or when they open the pools won’t be opened. Why? What did the dr say the other day on tv about pools/people/fecal matter? Ugh.....

My gym size is average to big I guess.
I too have thought about cancelling my membership. I have training sessions I have paid for and haven’t used. Maybe those wouldn’t be bad. I could use them all up then cancel. Maybe if I do my cardio outside, then go there for weights. Then by the time the weather gets cold things will be more under control.
I too don’t feel they clean very well.
I’ve been shopping when we need something. This experience has taught me that no matter how I feel to the world I’m old due to my age. My husband has a compromised system due to his history of cancer. So I guess we have things to think about.

What do you think?
I just can’t imagine the sweat. I know they say they will clean. I know the participants are supposed to clean off the machines. My gym has wipes about the size of a Kleenex to use, at least they did when we were locked out.
The weight machines are kinda close together, but not like the treadmills or ellipticals.
Spin classes have the bikes close together and the room isn’t that large.
I heard somewhere...maybe Georgia the health club they interviewed was allowing every other machine, no lock rooms and limiting the number of people in there at a time.
I just don’t know if I’ll feel safe returning to mine. I did say to my husband that trainers should go back to home visits.
Thoughts......

I used it more last year. I have not been good this year. I’ve done more outdoor biking instead.

Measurement....cook, bake, woodworking
Telling time on a regular analog clock
Multiplication facts are great! Show her some division too.
Money.....counting it (have her count her own money). She could shop at your store.
Writing--have her journal. Cut a spiral notebook in half so it's not so intimidating.
Keyboarding--work on sentences, capital letters, spacing, punctuation (get ahold of a Shel Silverstein poem book. Have her type some poems). Finger placement on the keyboard. Your hands don't move only your fingers. Keyboarding is finger exercises.
Does she have an email? Create a Google account and become familiar with what is available there. She could create a spreadsheet and documents there.

I would have my dh sleep in another room/floor and use a different bathroom from anyone else.
I heard what should be done for meals is that their food should be on paper products/plastic ware. Then when the person finishes they toss their stuff. That way you are not picking up infected dishes/silverware. I have paper plates, plastic ware and the solo cups for us to use if we need them.
We are lucky to have a finished basement that has my daughter’s bed from college down there. So we are set if need be.

Would they not let you just reschedule it for a later date? They keep the money you've paid and you have a venue for a later date. That's exactly what we want to do.. so far they say no. I think mamma needs to get on the phone with their planner and start being firm (she likes it when I do that.. she still is learning.. hahaha) I’d take over the job of Party planner. That way you know who you are talking to. Once you speak with them if they don’t seem to want to listen move your questions up the chain of command. It cannot hurt. You guys need to be in control. The party planner is an in between person which at this point should be you.

My niece is supposed to be getting married the end of May. They are still having the ceremony. None of us are going.
Here’s what my brother shared the other day.......The church has a tiered parking lot. Yes....so, those that are attending are locals to them. They are parking in the lot. My niece/brother are walking down the sidewalk that goes through the middle of the parking area. This sidewalk leads to the church which is at the bottom of the tiers. They have a dj looking into some time of radio broadcast of the ceremony.
NO reception at this time. They too are going to lose money if they cancel. They are looking to push this back. I suggested....ok, so you can’t cancel, then how about a reception on their first year anniversary? I haven’t heard back. I thought well, those that have bought airline tickets may be able to book that date. Those with airBNB could rebook at that date.
Anyhow.....this is what they are doing. Hopefully some of this will help someone!
