Am I the only person who doesn't know what a meme is?

I'm very sad and still somewhat shocked at how it all went down.

I've used make up sponges and they work just fine. I've also just used the ink pad itself and went around the edge of the paper/embellishment by hand.

I scrapbooked all weekend! Didn't get as much done as I had hoped because I had my granddaughter with me for the weekend, but I wouldn't trade time with her for anything!

I absolutely LOVE Pinterest!! Where I scrap at a crop and in the summer where I seasonal camp, there is no wifi. So I take pics of my Pinterest scrapbooking boards with my iPad and then I have layout ideas at my fingertips. I used to cut out layouts from magazines and put in a binder, but I don't even buy magazines anymore thanks to Pinterest.

It's starting to get really scary about how many stores in Canada are closing…….we've had several in Ottawa close over the years.

I love this idea!! As much as I love scrapping the everyday, I feel I haven't left a "legacy" yet for my grandchildren to know the real me. I need to start journaling my own childhood and stories that I would want them to know.

I totally agree with what you're saying. I do like "some" of the layering but I find some of it too much and too busy! I also like SIMPLE. I used to get stuck for hours doing one layout, but since watching every Glitter Girl video ever, I just go for it! And I scrapbook so much faster now when I'm just doing and not thinking.

For me it's definitely earth tones………most of my card stock is kraft, black and white.

I also could NEVER organize by colour. I absolutely LOVE the CTMH medium and large see thru storage containers with handles. I store all my embellishments in there except for bling and metal. There is no rhyme or reason to how I store them, just put everything in and go thru them quickly while scrapping. Same thing with die cuts. Like glitter girl, they are all in a container (she uses a large bowl) and I just rummage through it as I'm scrapping.

I used to do only double page layouts, couldn't even imagine doing a one page layout. Now I do mostly one page layouts and the occasional two page. Interesting how your style changes in this industry.

I really really really would like a printer that prints out my photos at home without costing an arm and a leg.

wow I am totally unorganized compared to you ladies. I just leave my photos in the envelope from the photo lab and take them out as I scrapbook them.

the other thing I find difficult these days too is I have pictures on so many media sources. Some are on Instagram, some on my iPhone, some I "steal" off Facebook from my kid's home pages. And some are on my camera. It's hard to keep track!

I must agree, it is very difficult to keep up with printing photos. I went tonight and printed 209 photos so I am ready to go! I really need to discipline myself to print them more often.

when I first started scrapbooking I never thought I would ever go binder style, but now I wouldn't change a thing. LOVE that I can add my layouts without having to switch every layout.

1. definitely would love to scrapbook about my job, I have been a Childcare Provider for about 29 years now. 2. how I was a foster child and met my family many years later and all that each of us 4 siblings have been through. 3. what my faith means to me. 4. need to scrapbook about the place I live, what I love about the small village we live in. 5. and definitely would like to have an all about me page every year and where my life is at each time.
great question!

I use Tombo glue and love it. For projects that need a stronger glue, I use tacky tape.
