I would hesitate to put furniture there with high-back stools. I like the mirror and tin ideas. I have some framed fabric in my kitchen that is a good pop of color but easy to change if I get tired of it. I would love to do a wall of vintage/antique dishes eventually. That could fit your space - maybe mostly white with pops of colored patterns. Our kitchens are similar colors. I'll see if I can attach a picture of what I have hanging in mine.
Happy new home!

Send it my way, I'll gladly accept it!
Instead of the phyllo dough mentioned above, I use Pepperidge Farm puff pastry. It's in the freezer section. Cut the rhind off of the brie, put apricot jam and Craisins on top, and bake according to the time on the box. Delicious! I was going to make this for the Super Bowl and forgot it - I think I'll make it tonight!

I also wear a lot of J.Crew. I think there are a far cry from "few" options for plus - sized shoppers at this point and agree with mom - if J.Crew doesn't have it to fit me, I'll take my money elsewhere - it's their prerogative to sell clothes in the sizes they'd like and mine to shop where I can find things that fit well . On a personal note, I do wish their petites would go up to include 14s - they say they go up through 12s, but not everything comes even that high.

Can anyone give me a guesstimate of how many steps you earn with it? Obviously we're all different but a ballpark would be great

I would guess Joe's, AG (check the Anthropologie website), or Citizens of Humanity.

He absolutely, 100% needs to go to the department head. He needs to request a different student teaching supervising professor.

Here is a photo of the other 2 messy bun hats I made - I made them for a pea so wanted to wait until she received them before posting here. SaveI love these! Are you interested in making a few more to sell?

Thanks. DH said not to worry about it (but he is a Scrooge, lol) but now I am second guessing. I'll stop at Dick's and see if I can find something that looks like it would work. . I'm not sure about the pink and white? Wondering if some NFL player has those? They may have been a breast cancer awareness thing? I bet you'll be able to find them.

First three scenarios, $2. I would do a dollar per bag for the first unloading if you have a bunch of stuff/family worth of luggage.
A cab - 18% unless it's a car service, then 20%.
Housekeeping, $10-20 depending on how many nights and what city.
Have fun!

They will have markdowns after Christmas - stuff will still be expensive, but a bit more reasonable. Could you hold onto it and put it toward a treat for yourself a bit later? I would hesitate to regift it because like Julee said, it could easily come back up eventually.

I'm another with thick curly hair - I just checked amazon for banana clips and they have some neutral options. One might show up in my stocking!

Anyone watching? I think Jennifer's outfit looks like the lampshade in a Christmas Story... Probably not what she was going for?! (Or is it?)

I think it's supposed to be the "silent 'e' at the end makes the vowel say its name" rule for the first words, then in the second word that same vowel is pronounced as a short vowel. So if you're not sure if "combination" is "combonation" or "combanation" or "combination" you'll know it's an "i" because "combine" tells you that by how you pronounce it. However... I've never heard "determine" pronounced "deterMINE" with a long "i". Do you live where it's pronounced that way? We actually teach "determine" as an exception to the "vowel/consonant/silent e" rule. No I don't! And I still don't get it but it seems to make sense to ds. Go figure. Thanks. Teacher agreeing here!

Would it be the one in North Georgia? That one also has a William Sonoma and can be worth the stop, but it just depends on the day!

I have ladder back chairs from World Market that I think would fit that look. They're the Wood Garner chair - set of 2 for $259.

school dress code no stained or ripped clothing. it's some type of paint not food. I am not sure what they are using. I am just going to put his smock on him be for he goes to school. maybe she will get a clue by that. How is this her job? Yes, dress your child appropriately, however that may be?!

I'm mostly undecided in a swing state. I requested my absentee ballot last week and WILL vote, but "less than thrilled with the options" is an understatement.

Loft, J.Jill, J.Crew are my favorites. I have some from Gap that have worn well but the waist isn't as high. I'm 5'0 - and like the petite option as well. I bought a fleece lined pair of tights (definitely not leggings!) at Anthropologie a few years ago. Last year, Meijer had lined leggings in the athletic department.
