My male cat started peeing everywhere and it was frequent, like 15 minutes between pees. The vet tested for bladder infection and he was clear. He diagnosed my cat to have an "angry bladder" or irritated for no reason. I had to super-hydrate him (inject a saline solution into the scruff of his neck - NOT fun) daily for about 3 weeks. At the same time we started feeding him wet food mixed with about 1/2 cup of water every morning.
This ended his behavior. He wasn't defiant, he wasn't an asshole, he just had an irritated bladder that needed to be flushed out.
Also, if you feed your male cat a food with a high ash content (Yes, purina is high in ash) it can build up in his urinary tract and make it difficult to pee. They start peeing everywhere with this problem too. I lost a male cat to urinary problems before I knew about the ash in cat food.
And for the record. I DO NOT think isolating a cat in a basement cat cage will make him realize you don't like where he pees.

One for party planning, one because a group of girls I know go on an annual girls trip and we don't want to hurt the feelings of anyone who isn't in the group. Gift ideas for my family and the "To-Do" board where I have the crazy idea that one day I'll actually have time to try some of the ideas I see on Pinterest.

no, I never missed an opportunity.... I was a little frisky when I was younger so it would have been the other way around, I have a few regrettable shags!

First of all - Jo, you are so cute! Love your haircut. Secondly, I find it difficult to distinguish everyone sometimes because, in spite of the different hairstyles and colours, etc., all the made up avatars look alike to me. I have to pay closer attention and actually read the user name. Lazy, eh? It's so much easier when I can actually see what you all look like. I know, I know, I haven't posted my real pic yet, but I swear, one day soon, I will! I just have to find one I like! Same here, the avatars are indistinguishable to me. I just don't recognize people any more. I had no idea that GeorgiaPea with the cartoon avatar was our pea with the opossum. I miss the opossum! I really don't like not recognizing people. And my pic is over 10 years old. I know I should update but I look pretty different now. I will probably update my pic when I get one that I don't hate!

Kristan - congrats on being cancer free! A clean slate sounds like a good idea!
I haven't been on the computer much since the new year but I feel like it just called me here tonight. I told my dh this morning that I'm back on the wagon. I had cottage cheese and green salad for lunch and some skinless chicken is in the oven and will go with roasted broccoli.
oooh Brandy, I forgot about the crock pot steel owts! That sounds so good.
I look forward to losing with you all!

We are having a lot of rain right now so our dog and cat are wet when they come in but they enter through the kitchen onto a towel so they don't usually get anything wet. We don't have mud in the back, just have a patio and grass so they're not muddy when they come in.
If this is a winter-long problem (the mud), I would look into some of that plastic net (usually orange) temporary fencing to enclose their roaming area to the patio and not allow them to get into the mud whenever they want.

That last line in your post is spot on. Even though Geico finally paid my claim, I had to sue their customer to get paid.

There were only 3 of us who eat meat and I bought a 19 lb turkey. I put 1/2 the bird in the freezer as soon as it cooled down and gave a lot to my dd when she left today. We have eaten turkey for 5 days now and are finally out. (except for the part in the freezer.) I always intentionally cook WAY too much for the leftovers.

Just remember, if you take them to court and win it doesn't mean you will ever see a dime from the other party. Good luck, I feel so bad for you! That's true but if you take an insured individual to court and win, chances are good that their insurance company will pay it. They have accepted liability, right? I had to sue another driver for an accident in Ca last year. She lost, her insurance company (Geico) paid the total amount in less than 2 weeks.

Tip. Minimum wage doesn't begin to cover living expenses. I always tip. I have always wondered about this mindset. Wouldn't we also then tip fast food and retail workers? I worked retail for many years with no tip and was paid minimum wage or just slightly above. Waitresses and baristas I know made more per hour than I did and they got tips on top of that. Yea, it's a weird system. I don't know how anyone survives on min wage. My dd works as a hostess in a very busy restaurant in Santa Barbara. She doesn't make tips and runs her butt off. She seriously works full time just to pay rent.

So scary! Does anyone know where we could look for help with what to do if we or someone is and needs help? Sorry if that's a dumb question, I know I could google, but maybe someone has a good site that they recommend. Probably the American Red Cross. When my dd was lifeguard training she took an emergency first aid class there as well as her CPR and week long lifeguarding class.

We were sitting down to dinner last year and I actually left and drove to CVS and got a box of Stove Top. I had gotten herbed bread cubes at Costco and it made the worst stuffing I've ever ever come across - EVER! It was like spooning pure oregano into your mouth. We threw the whole batch into the trash, then had to put the trash outside because the smell was so strong! Kristi, I gotta know ... was this the Marcy's Traditional Seasoned Stuffing? Big foil-type bag? I have a bag I bought last year and I don't want to use it if it's going to be icky. I can send a picture if that would help jog your memory. Lucy, yes, it WAS in a foilish bag. I just looked at Google Images of the kind you have and I'm pretty sure that's the same stuff. My problem was with how herby it was. The bread cubes were green they were so covered with Italian herbs. Just open it and take a whiff. If it knocks you over from the pungent aroma, it's the same one. It was just gross.

This year we made a version of the one my dh saw on TV, made by Ina Garten. I usually just dress up Stove top with mushrooms, onion, celery and garlic but we added some Italian sausage, dried cranberries and we were supposed to add cubed apples but I completely forgot! I use a lot of chicken broth and bake in the oven, not the bird. It was fantastic!

I made some fantastic stuffed mushrooms for my two vegetarians. they were fantastic! I found a copy-cat Olive Garden recipe on Pinterest, left out the clams, added fresh basil and used the mushroom stems (the recipe said to discard but I chopped them up and sauteed them with garlic) wow, they were so so so good!

I'm browsing Amazon and came across this: www.amazon.com/dp/B00FNPD1VW/ref=psdc_565108_t1_B00KB3VCQ [HASH]customerReviews It's an Acer C70 Chromebook for $149.00 (sorry don't know how to add a clickable link) I'm thinking about it for DH. The only thing I know about Chromebooks is that they don't use traditional PC programs, they use apps that are web-based. If my dh only goes onto AOL and and a few newspapers and reads their stories and searches the web for products he needs, would a chromebook be ok for him? He doesn't do any word processing, no gaming, no nada. This Acer C720 has amazing reviews and is only $149.00 - I'm about to go for it. It does give you access to the intenet, right, not just web-based apps that you purchase?
