I use The Christmas List app on my iphone. The icon is a white present wrapped in a red ribbon. I've got it set up to show previous years and birthdays too. You can take a photo of the gift which is very helpful to me, once I've bought something. You can say if you've bought it, wrapped it, given it and basically jiggle it around for your own needs. I have the same app. I find it very helpful.

I ordered presents for my DD and DGD in WA on Sunday. Three arrived today and the rest are supposed to be there next week. The company I work for is seeing a lot of delays in receiving product, some up to three weeks. We've never had issues like that. I ordered early just because of what we are seeing at work.

I’m totally off track. I was sick with a stomach virus for a few days and it’s taking me awhile to get going. I had 3 days of barely any steps. Ugh The past 2 days I’ve been able to walk. No reason I couldn’t do my yoga but I just didn’t. So this week I’ll walk, start my yoga again & get back to my spin bike. Gosh, that's awful. Hope you are feeling better now.

I'll jump in! I've been dealing with an autoimmune disease for the past four years that attacks my joints and makes me really stiff. I am finally in remission and am trying to start exercising again. My goal is to workout out at least four days for 20 minutes. This morning I did a low impact body weight workout. Boy am I out of shape, it kicked my butt! WELCOME!!! Glad to see ya and hope you have a great week and take it slow. Thank you!

Today I got up late so I only got in 10 minutes of a body weight workout. I'm going to try to get the other 10 minutes in after work but we'll so how that goes. If I don't get my workout done in the morning I typically won't do it after work.

resist.bot/ I use it via Twitter, but you can text them, too. They've got a bunch of different things going to contact XYZ and tell them to stop stalling. Thanks for the link! Message sent! This is awesome. I just sent a message to my senators telling them they need to speak up against Trump's refusal to give Biden national security briefings. They are both senate republicans and have been virtually silent on the election results and Trump's subsequent behavior.

They powered him down and are in the process of disassembling him to be shipped back to the manufacturer. We do not want him back. Please send straight to the junkyard.

Indiana here. Yes we have a mask mandate and have had for several months. Our governor just extended it to the end of December. We had really low numbers over the summer but they have skyrocketed in recent weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if Holcomb starts adding back restrictions soon.

Montgomery County here. Lots of flags and banners, and even larger yard banners especially in the two weeks leading to the election. I am on the border of Chester County and it is the same there. Trumpers like their swag and their hats, even if it is made in China. I pass one place on the way to the storage locker with a sign that says “NASA lies, the earth is flat”. We had a father and son team riding a bike with a Trump flag but haven’t seen them since Tuesday. I don’t think I am of an age that this is going to make it into history books or museums with a thoughtful analysis of just how awful a president he was, but I hope in fifty or so years that time will give that perspective. It's not the immediate suburbs and those slightly north, Biden is winning by very good margins, it's the wide swath of green between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh (excluding Harrisburg), otherwise known as Pennsyltucky. They are rabid in their love for MAGA and Trump (to be fair not everyone). Billboards, flags, merchandise and equally rabid in their hatred of masks. I also live in Montgomery County, but on the border with Chester and Delaware. Where I am there are far more Biden supporters and signs than Trump and the results per county are in agreement. Bucks still for Trump but less so. I live in Indiana but most of my family lives in Michigan. Due to Covid I have been severely limiting my trips home. I was there in late July and there were a few Trump signs and flags but nothing for Biden. I went back at the beginning of October and I was amazed at the number of Biden signs, banners, etc. They really outnumbered the Trump ones. I was so happy to see MI went to Biden!

With only half of the ballots counted it's physically possible to go the other way. Yesterday they called Indiana with 1% counted... And people were still standing in line to vote!

I wish we had anything close to that. I live in central Indiana. Our county commissioners (in the county in which I live) consolidated districts and then failed to pass a resolution to buy more voting machines. Lines for early voting were long. DH waited 1 1/2 hours three weeks ago. I went yesterday morning and waited two hours. There were elderly people, people with disabilities that needed to sit and couldn't, and one lady with two small children. I felt so bad for them. Luckily it was reasonably nice outside.
There were only four machines at my polling place and at least 200 in line at during the time I was there. They ran out of ballots for a certain district and those poor people had to wait until more were delivered from the clerk's office. At some polling places people waited up to five hours to vote. People had to leave without voting due to family or work commitments. And then then Indiana was declared for Trump even before a lot of these people even voted!
A lot of people are very unhappy with our county commissioners. I don't know what they were thinking but I reasonably sure they will lose their reelection bid in two years. Some people are screaming voter suppression. I think it was just plain incompetence.

I did. Waited 1 1/2 hours to vote. The biggest problem was that the county council consolidated voting centers here and there were only four machines at my polling place. Our county council is worthless and created a huge mess by doing that. Due to their failure to vote on measures to create more voting centers, they have created confusion and have cost the county thousands of dollars. I voted for their opponents!

Where are people still wearing this stuff? I haven’t seen a woman around here in flamboyantly patterned leggings in a few years. I live in a small midwest town. I still occasionally see people wearing them. I think we are always several years behind the trends. I see them here occasionally, too. I have a friend who still wears the leggings on a regular basis.

I was just reading something about this. Each administration decides how much information to release to the public. For instance when Reagan was shot they released a picture of him with Nancy that made it look like he was doing well. Later it was discovered that the photo had been doctored. Reagan almost died but that was not known for a long time. IIRC Eisenhower was very open when he had a heart attack and released all sorts of information when that happened. The Trump administration was rated about the same level as the Reagan administration.
I read this somewhere recently but cannot find the article now.

Not really a touchy, feely thing but I can't stand to have covers over my face. I feel like I am suffocating. Funny wearing a mask does not really bother me.

Pretty sure we fought a war a couple hundred years ago to get away from a monarchy. Apparently people spouting that have forgotten US history.

Let's see, we have:
New Neighbor (they just moved in and will probably get another name once we get to know them better) The Idiot (the old neighbor who just moved out, thank goodness) Yo Yo Dude (this guy stands on his porch smoke and plays with yo-yos, he's actually pretty good!) The Parkers (They have at least six vehicles and park four of them on their lawn. Consequently it is all torn up. They also have several large dogs that bark a lot.) OCD Guy (I only see this guy very early in the morning. He lives up the street a bit and every morning he gets in his car and drives around the block three times before he goes off to work.) Harley Dude (He has a Harley and lives across the street but is really nice.) The Trash House (This house is falling apart and they don't seem to do anything to fix it up. But we see them come home with a truck full of shopping bags a couple of times a week.)
I am sure I am the Crazy Cat Lady of the neighborhood. We take care of a couple of ferals and I have several indoor cats.

I'm in Indiana and we are one of the very few states with a less than 4% infection rate (as of last week). Nearly everything is back to normal with the exception that we still have to wear face masks if we can't social distance. Indianapolis/Marion Co. is a few weeks behind the rest of the state.

Maria Emmerich has a lot of good cookbooks. I have several. Dana Carpender is another one good one. Her cookbooks are a bit dated but still has some really good recipes.

I'm going to throw out Grand Rapids, MI. Great mid-size town with lots to do. There are all sorts of hiking/biking/cross country skiing trails nearby. While there are not any national parks near Grand Rapids, MI has a lot of state parks that offer lots of great recreation. It had a nice airport and Lake Michigan is about 1/2 away (love me some Great Lakes!). While it maybe more conservative than you want, it does have a number of liberals in the community. The summers and winters are reasonable. My BIL and SIL have lived there for years and love it.

The derecho rolled through here, too. The winds were incredible! Our power flashed several times but never completely went out. Then Wednesday we realize the power flashes took out our laptop. Crazy thing is that it was plugged into a UPS with power surge protection and that still did not protect it. But the laptop was 7 years old and we don't use to often so I'm not too upset about it. I think we are going to replace it with a Chromebook.
Also, about a month ago DH and I were out cruising in our 1951 Buick. Something happened to the transmission and we ended up stranded on the side of a country road. Called AAA and had it hauled to the repair shop. After spending $1200 on repairs we were back on the road. Then yesterday DH was out in it and it overheated. I had to fill up a 5 gallon container and take out to him. Luckily he wasn't too far from home and it was fine after we put water in it. Love that old car but it can be unreliable.

I miss my kids and grandkids, I haven't seen them since February. I miss my girlfriends and our monthly dinner. I miss clothes shopping. We cancelled our Vegas trip in April and moved it to October but now I'm afraid that one will be cancelled, too. Covid sucks!

I started using dip polish when the quarantine went into place. I love it and won't be going back to the salon. It took me about three attempts to get my nails looking like a nail tech had done them. The only problem is that I want to buy more colors!

Luckily it's just me and DH but it would be very difficult to self quarantine in our house. We have a travel trailer so one of us could move in there temporarily but it's more likely we will both get sick so it's likely a moot point.

Me! I work for a small security firm (only five employees). We are considered an essential service. We don't allow walk in traffic and anyone out in the field wears gloves and masks.
