I can't say this surprises me as I didn't for one minute think he was going to drain the swamp, but I am surprised at how quickly he is showing himself to be an utter hypocrite and liar.

When my husband's father died (in a house fire) we were grateful for every single kind gesture. We received cards, flowers and food. It just really helped to know we were not alone.

I have no history of cervical cancer in my family, and I recently found out I have pre-cancerous cervical cell growth. I hope this study changes the regularity and ages of testing.

My favorite restaurant in Nashville is Tin Angel. The Warm Goat Cheese Salad is my favorite. My husband loves the Pan Roasted Salmon.

I find this appointment extremely concerning. So disappointed with McCain and Graham for going along with this. Ronald Reagan must be rolling over in his grave.

The tag sale thrifting threads are my favorites. I am jealous of all of you that find all of this awesome vintage stuff. I've been looking for items for my tiki bar lately...tiki mugs, carved coconut heads, and other kitsch. I'll usually hit up Goodwill and maybe find a cup or something. This Saturday at Goodwill...no dice...no tiki anything for me. This Goodwill store is notorious for really high prices on things...they are extra crazy with any vintage Pyrex so I pretty much don't bother with it. Furniture is usually junk and priced high too but today I decided to walk through the furniture area on my way out and found...wait for it....a Pottery Barn Bedford Craft Table. Marked $30. I ripped the tag off of it and sprinted to the register with it. Finish has a couple small dings but I put a little touch up paint on it with an epoxy sealer and it is PERFECT. It even had all the little shelves for the cubbies on either end. I already have one of these and DH has been suggesting getting another and combining them for one huge workspace but at $1300, not a chance. $30??? Heck, yeah. That is an amazing find!

I have a friend that makes beautiful, unique jewelry from vintage pieces that she repurposes. Mostly I get things from her and estate sales.

I'm not sure if they will take her seriously enough to investigate but yes the Secret Service should talk to her. While she has no relevancy to me, she does to others and could influence them. I think she says stuff like that to focus attention on her personally rather than the cause. I wish she would finally disappear from the public eye.

Chatterbox has been gone for many years but their stuff has been showing up at Tuesday Morning regularly and recently. I think I also have a pretty big stash of it.
Making Memories has also been gone for a while,
I have a lot of older Basic Grey if anyone wants to buy my stash. Probably Daisy D's too but I would need to check. I've thought about selling it but I don't have a good sense of whether people use the buy/trade board here.
The one I really miss is Sassafras Lass. I have a lot in my stash but I've been a little weird about using it as I love it so much.
I recently came a cross a bunch of Love, Elsie in my stash. I had no idea I had bought so much!

My health issues prevented me from attending, but 17,000 are estimated to have gone to the Raleigh, NC march. I would have loved to attended with my daughter! Thanks to all of you for sharing your experience and photos - I've been in happy tears all day. ❤

I didn't watch it. I did watch the CIA address just now where he said the US will in the future violate international law by seizing assets of countries we invade. He also babbled incoherently about how persecuted he is, crowd sizes and is still whining about how the media is mean to him. There is no doubt in my mind that he is mentally ill. His paranoia reminds me a lot of Nixon. I hope he gets the help he so desperately needs for all of our sakes.

Of all the things to worry about, you worry about a cake and a dress??!! Really??!! No one cares about a cake and a dress, but they are perfect metaphors for Trump and his team's lack of even one original idea.

My health prevented me from going to a march, but I am so inspired by all of you. These marches and all who have participated are giving me hope. I love seeing people of every color, women and men, young and old, and especially meaningful to me, my disabled sisters. You all rock!!! 👏🏻🤗💪

It seems to me that people cherry pick a bit regarding the reason for the Electoral College. The Federalist papers made clear that there was concern about the corruption of the electoral process because of foreign entities trying to influence American policies (obviously in addition to representation concerns). The argument that qualifications are in the eye of the beholder loses relevance as our forefathers would have found the fact that Russians influenced the election (regardless of actual voting irregularities) cause enough that the Electoral College should have chosen someone other than Trump. I reread most of The Federalist Papers after the election and that seemed clear to me.

Terri, Your finds are amazing, but what pray tell are those cards with girls names on them? Some sort of bingo card. They were so sweet I couldn't resist! I used to buy a lot of vintage paper goods when I was the product idea person at Webster's Pages. I don't have that excuse anymore but I treated myself to these anyway.

SCORE!!! My favorite is the rosary in the wooden case....love it. I would imagine you are giddy, I know I would be!!! Was this an estate sale or flea market? I am inspired. It was a combination. Estate sale on Saturday, Flea Market on Sunday. I don't usually get out or buy so much, but it was my birthday weekend so my husband offered to take me and get me anything I wanted. ❤

For all the talk about change, this sounds like the same old Kristina to me. So pretentious! I always thought she created the garden girls so she could be part of something "cool" and exclusive. Her pages never rose to the creative level of the other GGs. She bad mouthed existing customers on the private board which always seeemed juvenile and unprofessional.

I'm having trouble quoting, but to address what you said Jonda about the peaceful transfer of power, yes I knew Trump might win. In fact I stated I thought he would win something like 4 months before the election on this board. I have not seen anyone on this board advocate violence so when you talk about how Conservatives view liberals, none of us can control it if you want to view all liberals by the talk of a tiny, tiny percentage of liberals.
That said, my feeling that Trump is illegitimate is directly due to the mounting evidence that Russia was conspiring with people on Trump's team to interfere with our election. You may not trust the intelligence community, but I do. We also need to be clear that it isn't just the American intelligence that believes this, so do many, if not all, European leaders. There is a reason why Norway wants US troops there after not wanting us there since WWII. I get people want to think the best about Trump and give him a chance, but at a certain point I hope people will seriously consider the evidence before it is too late.
